Staff were all friendly, considerate and helpful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The room was as described and the bed was comfortable. The King’s Head is ideally situated for exploring Norfolk. We hope to return.

We stayed the night in the Tilney room.
Beautiful decor, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, great wardrobe space. Highly recommended and definitely stay again.

We had a good sized apartment which had cooking facilities and a fridge. The bed was really big and comfortable.
No issues apart from the fact that they weren’t open on Monday.
The bathroom sink was too small and the overhanging cupboard made it difficult to avoid hitting your head when washing your face!
Getting the shower temperature right was a challenge and disappointing that it was in the slippery bath and not separate.
Staff we met at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good though expensive with extra charge for coffee/ tea and marmalade!

Well run and very accommodating. Great selection of food in the evening. Super quiet location, and very picturesque with attentive staff.

We stayed for 2 nights, Fri-Sun. Located in a lovely peaceful area and an easy route into Norwich. There is a lovely pub on site, we had a couple of drinks and the staff were really friendly. We didnt eat as had other plans but the food looked great- will definitely make plans for breakfast next time! The room itself was great, decorated exceptionally, fantastic bath and shower with perfect pressure/temperature. The bed and linen were extremely comfortable, and being someone who doesnt sleep great away from home, I had a perfect nights sleep- the blinds are also blackout. Nearby there is a little river and a very quiet village- we didnt hear a peep after lights out

The room (Walston) was fantastic. The bar and restaurant were equally as good and the food really good with very generous portions. The most spectacular thing about the King's Head though were the staff! So friendly and accommodating and incredibly helpful. Really recommend this hotel

Loved this place. A real one off, especially Walstan, but the biggest thing for me was the absolutely superb food at prices not much higher than you would pay in a chain restaurant. Will definitely be back

We always go to the Kings Head when we visit Norwich, it has a very beautiful garden next to a tranquil river, the food is lovely and the ambiance good. The pub is always busy but is well staffed. This is the first time we have stayed as the accommodation is a fairly recent addition. We booked for a couple of nights and it was excellent. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely second to none!! All with fresh local produce, which was prepared with care and thoughtfulness. The staff really could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. We will be back. Thank you.

Food and service at the Kings Head were excellent. Only criticism would be that our room was quite small considering the cost

Good! Lucky with the weather. Close to lots of places. Only grumble would be noise in room.

A great find that exceeded all expectations. The beautifully equipped and decorated room was big enough for our needs, truly awesome bathroom fittings...the rain shower head alone got full marks! Dinner in the restaurant turned out to be superb; great choices and all locally sourced food. A very young staff made us feel so welcome and we need to single out Emily and Leigh for making our stay awesome.
