There are a number of great walks along marked footpaths and bridleways, including the famous Coleridge Way which passes through..

The village shop is a well-stocked mini-supermarket incorporating a Post Office counter, petrol pumps, cash point machine and has good opening hours. The Rest & Be Thankful Inn is the village pub which serves food and is child and dog friendly. The village also has a first school, church, playing field, public conveniences, and a bus service.

Wonderful stay at this lovely house, the complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, local jam and a large victoria sponge cake was a fab welcome after a long drive.
The house was tidy and clean and has all the mod cons. Definitely recommend this house.

This property is first class. Clean, comfortable, quiet with a beautiful view and deer visiting the garden. The location is great with Dunster in easy reach for pub lunches and cream teas, and Minehead just a little further for all the essentials. We love this part of the country and will definitely be adding this place to our favourites. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Hope to return again in future.
