I didn't stay there I tried to get my money back the place is a rip off, both phone numbers are wrong, u can't get in touch with the owner,

It served its purpose and nothing more. Awful.

The only positives were that the beds were very comfy and it was in a convenient location.

It was dirty and rundown. Shared bathroom. Flimsy doors with a feeble lock which didn’t feel safe at all. Kitchen was a state. Definitely not worth the money we spent. Glad we only stayed for one night.

I've stayed in youth hostels all over the world, but this was the worst ever.

The place is disgusting. From the stench outside the property due to unemptied bins, to the filthy bathroom, to the unhoovered room, to the cobwebs, holes in the walls and broken door, this place is rock bottom.

Just gross. My friend and I slept in my car instead. Couldn't take the risk of bedbugs, lice - or worse! I went in and took pictures, then left. £90 - and then we felt we had no (health and safety) choice but to sleep in my car! What a sick joke! NEVER EVER STAY HERE !!!

There's probably better quality rooms in Kyiv

Hard to find a positive but my bed was pretty comfy despite the horrid cheap black satin sheets. Shower was hot. WiFi, Kettle and microwave

Wow!! This is hands down the worst place I've ever stayed and that includes a hostel at the entrance to a Brazilian favela with a 24hr armed Police guard. My original accommodation let me down 2hrs before I was due to check in so I booked this in a rush. I saw poor ratings and didn't have much choice but also thought how bad can it be??? Well how bad was it..... No lights in the hall when I first arrived so had to use the torch on my phone to find my room (not ideal when you have luggage). Kitchen is hobbled together, holes in walls, missing bits in floor. Communal fridge really small and not clean Downstairs toilet was disgusting. Half a roll of toilet paper provided for a 3 night stay. No towel, mirror, soap. Bedroom also had holes in walls, damp patches. No mirror, no wardrobe. Awful satin sheets. Next to main road so really loud traffic. Hallway also damp everywhere. Not a single lightshade anywhere in any room. Upstairs bathroom was probably best room I saw and even then one night I had a shower and 2 chunks of plaster fell out of the ceiling. No towels provided.

Location was easy to get to.

The room was grubby and felt insecure. The beds were unmade. The toilet was disgusting. I chose not to stay at the property and gave it a poor review. After this, I received an abusive telephone call from someone I can only assume is the owner.

If I booked a crack house and got this is be disappointed

The fact that it was close to whew I worked…….by chance

It’s a dump. Kitchen is filthy with not even a ceiling in it. Bathroom is rotten. Bed sheets are satin like a cheap brothel.

Yes! I received a phone call from Southgate Lodge in the late morning of the day I was due to arrive at Southgate Lodge, Kings Lynn. The alledged proprietor there told me was unable to accommodate myself and my cycling buddy, owing to some unexplained stain on the carpet. I immediately sensed he was conning us. I asked if he new any alternate accommodation and he promised to ring me back. On ringing me back he said he had an Air BNB Room at his house and offered to let us stay there at the same cost already paid to Booking.com . On arrival at his address it was a house under extensive renovation, the entrance lobby into the kitchen was like a building site. Both my friend and I thought something was not right. The bedroom offered to us was OK as was the bathroom. Despite that we felt that something was afoot and needs investigating.The man at the house pleasant and quite charming, but still something didn't seem right! Although we had accommodation my friend in a double bed and me on a pull out bed, I had the most uncomfortable nights sleep of my life on a bed which was incredibly uncomfortable. I would be grateful for some minor compensation and would suggest you investigate the situation.

Nothing. We felt uncomfortable at the proprietors house. The whole situation felt really weird and I didn't think he was coming straight with us. Why would he cancel us because of a stained carpet?
