The house was as advertised as far as accommodations were concerned. The air conditioning was on the fritz evidently and we had someone looking at it for a good part of the first day and the majority of the second day. On the third day we had a farmer using the outdoor water hook up to supply their cows with water. I guess the house is the only water source on the road. Also on check in day, a man with a dog came to make sure we were checked in. The very dirty dog named Bub ran into the house and muddied up the floors, a comforter and even jumped into our friends vehicle. Another night we had men on an ATV come by, beers in hand, looking for a battery. We never seemingly had a moments peace from owners/caretakers/neighbors which is a little alarming when you have small children in the middle of nowhere. Also the bottom step on the back deck is rotting. We stumbled on it and avoided getting stabbed by the boards everyday. Apart from that, it was a nice stay.

The lodge was as beautiful as the photos on the site, and it comfortably accommodated our large group of family friends. Generous bedrooms and private bathrooms were a big plus for our group. The large yard and grounds provided ample space to play a variety of lawn games, and swimming in the pond was a popular activity for all!

Our large family needed a space where everyone from Grandma to the new baby could gather to play, rest, eat and make bonding memories. Fraziers Bottom was pretty near perfect! The eating area wasn't large enough for all of us to sit down to eat at the same time, but we managed. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone appreciated the ensuite bathrooms! The air conditioned living room was spacious enough to accommodate our traditional family dance party and the furniture groupings were very conducive to quiet conversations or just a cozy place to curl up with a book. Our teen crowd loved "hanging out" in the upstairs game area while the young kids watched a movie. The best part about this venue for our "outdoorsy" family was the small lake and surrounding "park-like" area. Frisbee and soccer matches were ongoing. Many family members enjoyed waking, jogging, or running on the peaceful roads in the area. The family Olympics on the grassy field were epic! Most of us were in the lake every day, swimming, kayaking or just jumping off the dock! So much fun! We made wonderful family memories!

This was the only location we found so far that had plenty of space for our entire family. We all enjoyed the cabin.

We had a three generation, 37 person family reunion at the lodge. The lodge itself was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and each family was able to get their own room and bathroom. The game room was a hit with the kids and we were impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was. Everyone spent a lot of time hanging out on the three covered porches enjoying the gorgeous property and watching the kids play on the huge, flat backyard. The lake was wonderful and everyone enjoyed kayaking and swimming. The fire pit area was really nice and large, and was able to accommodate all of us for late night s'mores! It was a perfect fit for us, and I'm sure we will be back!

I'm 52 and was in charge of planning our family reunion with 29 people traveling from IL, WI, PA & NC. I scored big when i found this as a midpoint between the farthest members. While this tradition is centeted around bringing my first cousins together, we had ages 13-84. Plenty of room to spread out, relax, play games, cook and all eat together. Theres a Walmart not too far for supplies and groceries. Bunn, regular and keurig machines there for the coffee drinkers. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, glasses, mugs, dishes etc. Nice grill with griddle. Pool table and mini fridge on the upper level was a hit. Also a dartboard. Wrap around porch, shall i go on! WE ALL HAD OUR OWN BATHROOMS, YAY. We'll be there again in 2026. Enjoy!

House was large with plenty of bedrooms and baths. We were a group of 27. Quite a drive on narrow roads to get to activities or stores of any type. Only one fridge which is not enough for a large group. Lots of cookware that needs to be tossed out. Remember to bring your own soap. No toilet brushes. Some sinks in baths do not drain properly. Bring your own bath soap. The welcome book needs attention. We did get assistance on 2 nights with a bonfire. One main issue was the bedrooms didn’t have blinds so you are up with the sun. In summary, the home is in need of some attention to detail for sure, especially for the price you pay. Our family has rented homes of this size many times so value for money just wasn’t there.

This place was perfect for our group. We had 11 kids and 20 adults all aging from 0 to 74. There were three main spaces that were huge and open but still felt like separate areas. There was the main living room with lots of couches, the kitchen/ dining room with a huge table, and the upstairs loft with a pool table, bar, and big TV. The pool table room had a nice selection of board games and cards. There was a wood burning fire place upstairs, but we didn't use it. We did use the two gas ones downstairs and that was quite lovely. Everyone had their own bedroom and attached bathroom. The two big bedrooms were across from each other in one of the upstairs halls. Those were so spacious they served as extra living rooms for those that wanted a little quiet away from the main rooms. Only those 2 big bedrooms had TVs. Lots of pillows and extra blankets in the dressers. The décor was rustic and very fun. Lots of time and attention went into each room. The outdoors was so nice. It was chilly on our days, so we didn't swim. But we fished quite a bit from the brand new dock and the kids ran around endlessly on the big sweeping lawn. There was a great flat top grill outside that we used several times. We walked around a bit in the woods and made a fire in the fire pit with the provided wood. It was very peaceful. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we would ever need. The contact was very responsive with all our questions leading up to the trip and the few questions while we were there. There were a few imperfections - one of the toilets ran, it was a little dusty, some melted carpet, one of the windows was cracked. But really nothing that bothered us at all. Everyone loved it and wanted to book again for our next family reunion.
