About this apartment rental
Stay cozy and inspired at this peaceful and centrally-located guesthouse. Relax in the comfortably situated living area as you look out the large sliding glass door at the oaks that give shade to the long driveway that leads to your secluded getaway spot. Convenient location makes trips to town a snap. Sequoia National Park gate entry is just minutes away. All of the quaint-coziness you can handle and the abundance of Nature that surrounds await your arrival. ...Just 6 mi to the SNP entrance!
The space
The casita shares its property with the main house that it's on. Please use side gate beside main house to gain access to the entry door located on the side of the casita. Once you've gained entry you can utilize the sliding glass door to more conveniently move between your vehicle and the casita to transport your personal travel items.
Guest access
You have access to the side gate to gain entry to the casita, the back gate to explore the back grounds, and of course, the parking area directly in front of the casita. Note: if you street park you'll have a better view of the grounds from the sliding glass door of the casita. But do whatever works for you!
There is a small storage area designated for host use that is located beneath the hot water heater cabinet. Other than that, the rest of the casita is open for guest use.
Other things to note
Limit disposal of trash into outdoor bin during your stay. This will help reduce the likelihood of bears making a mess of the trash.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 nights here while visiting the Kings Canyon & Sequoia parks. Great location, loved watching the wild turkeys and ground squirrels roam the backyard and neighborhood! Very comfortable bed, which was important to us after exploring during the day. Great pressure in the shower!

Everything was as we hoped for and better. The drive to the park entrance is 7min, allowing us to be in the Giant Tree area before anyone else was there and enjoy it in private. The host has equipped the place tastefully and thoughtfully, offering three alternative ways to prep coffee to cover everyone's morning needs, the AC worked well, the large sliding door and little sitting area was great, basic cooking set up enough for a quick dinner, excellent bed and sheet quality, for us the EV charger was essential to be able to explore the two parks and make it back to LA with ease. Like some reviews said, there is no closet storage, but we really didn't miss that on our two-night stay.

The inside of the cottage needs to be rearranged to create more space for the traveler with two suitcases and two carry on size luggage. Having at least two luggage racks, instead of one, would help. Four racks would be perfect.

We stayed one night at this beautiful little casita but wish it was longer. Conveniently located close to the SNP entrance and next to plenty of great restaurants to eat at with river views. Got to see the wild turkeys roaming in the yard and plenty of birds chirping in the morning. Overall great experience.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Casita Kaweah. All of the details in the listing were accurate and the space was very clean and cozy. It provided everything we needed for our stay and the VRBO was a short drive to Sequoia National Park. I especially appreciated the prompt and clear communication with Jim and Danielle. They were easy to contact and responded immediately when needed.

A perfect location for our trip to Sequoia National Park! The Casita was exactly as photographed and described, the communication from the start with Jim and Danielle was friendly and excellent, the property was so easily accessible and close to the park, but also convenient to coffee, shops and restaurants in Three Rivers. A perfectly quiet place to recoup and sleep after a long day of hiking, with a king bed that is very comfortable and great shower pressure and lots of nice details throughout the casita. Very cozy and well appointed. Danielle and Jim are great hosts and they have thought of just about everything. A !

This was the perfect spot for visiting Sequoia National Park. It is a short drive to the park entrance and you pass several dining and shopping options along the river.
The casita is perfect for 2 people. It has a large comfortable bed, a kitchenette with a hot plate (no stove/oven) and a small bathroom with a little shower.
The outside sitting area is great for watching all the birds and squirrels while drinking coffee in the mornings.
Lots of thoughtful extras around the place helped make this the perfect getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casita Kaweah. It was very comfortable as Danielle & Jim have made it a home from home for their guests. The location was perfect for Sequoia National Park with it being a short drive away. There were a few restaurants and a well stocked store, also a short drive away. Communication with Danielle & Jim was good and we had a very straightforward check in. The neighbourhood was very quiet which made for a restful break between exploring the area.

It was the perfect stay in Three Rivers. The Casita was great size for my husband and I too enjoy 2 nights. The location is close to Sequoia National Park and the town of Three Rivers was relaxing. The Casita my clean, easy to access and was stocked with necessary amenities. Highly recommend.

This place was very cozy, charming, comfortable & clean! We can tell it was newly remodeled, well designed, and nicely furnished.
This is a guest house that shares property with the main house, but we had our own area of privacy. We didn't see the renters from the main house unless we were on the driveway at the same time. It was nice to sleep in a bit on our 3rd day here, the dark (maybe blackout curtains) was an added bonus.
It's near the entrance to Sequoia, so it's very convenient for park visitors. Also, it's a 5 minute drive to restaurants, shopping & coffee shops. This was the easiest & simplest checkout we've ever experienced. The hosts, Danielle & Jim were very responsive & they seem like nice & easy-going humans -- yes, we can tell by the way they communicate ;) We will definitely be back!
