About this house rental
We are located in Gouldsboro Maine. A small coastal town located in Downeast Maine. We are located on a quiet side road off of US route 1. You can fall asleep listening to the frogs. Awake to the birds singing. For the outdoor enthusiast there are lots of local biking and hiking trails as well as salt and freshwater beaches to explore. We are about 15 miles from Winter Harbor where you can find the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park, small shops and eateries and a ferry that will take you to Bar Harbor where you can explore other local shops and the rest of Acadia National Park. If riding on a boat is not for you it is about a 1 hour car ride to Bar Harbor. Both Prospect Harbor light house and Petit Manan lighthouse are a short drive to view.
If you're looking for a different kind of adventure we are about an hour and 20 minutes from Lubec which is the eastern most point in the United States or an hour and 45 minutes from the Canadian border.
Our home is a clean and spacious 5 bedroom 2 bathroom home. We have room for 8 so you can bring the whole family or a group of friends. We have a bedroom with a king bed on the main floor, upstairs we have 4 bedrooms two with Full beds, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with a twin. three of the five bedrooms has a tv as well as living room and family room.

Wish we could have stayed longer, our quick tour of Acadia was too short. We had a long drive & this was the half way stop through our trip.
Very nice home. Missed air in downstairs bedroom, though

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed taking day trips to Mount Desert Island and Campobello Island. We also enjoyed exploring the Schoodic Peninsula which is gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and made a great home base to explore Lobster Fest at Winter Harbor, Acadia National Park, and all the wonderful little towns in between.

The house layout was great and worked very well for us. The house was clean and had great accommodations. What really stood out for me was the the communication with the owner. Annie was great and it was a pleasure booking through her. I would definitely repeat if I am in the area.
Thank you!!

A group of women looking to see Acadia National Park, do some hiking and enjoy the fresh air of Maine. Even though Acadia was an hour drive, there is plenty to do in the Gouldsboro area. the house was just as described with plenty of room to spread out. Large kitchen table to sit and enjoy meals or play games. The only thing i would add is some shade in back yard.

We stayed for a week in July. The house was lovely and clean with plenty of room for teenage boys. We had plenty of spots to explore and relax. Annie was so quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this home. We got confused when trying to find the beach and trail heads so if there are any exact addresses for them maybe have them in the awesome book that came in so handy. Thank you for having us!

The house was perfect for us. Big enough for our family of 8 to spread out but also all be in the same living room or dining room comfortably. We spent most of our time in Acadia National Park while visiting but we also found some fun places to explore closer to the house as well. We celebrated our daughters 18th birthday in the house on our last night and cooked a seafood feast in the well equipped kitchen. We are from Buffalo, NY and our last time to Maine was during her 8th birthday so it was alot of fun recreating some of the pics from when the kids were alot smaller. But the house is very clean, it had everything we needed already inside, the owners communicated before hand to make sure we were all set and let us know they were available if needed and the area was beautiful. Next time we come up we would love to stay here again.
