The Grand Park Royal Cancun is an excellent choice for its prime location on the stunning Playa Blanca Cancun and the exceptional quality of its staff. Service: The staff at this hotel were generally, attentive, and genuinely warm. Their dedication to creating memorable moments is exceptional. Facilities: The hotel boasts two main pools, although one was under construction during our visit, which impacted the overall experience significantly. A standout highlight was the room service, included as part of the all-inclusive package Our swim-up room was spacious, well-equipped with essentials like irons and hair dryers, and meticulously cleaned daily. However, some aspects of the décor felt dated. Dining: The hotel offers five restaurants, each with its own charm. The oriental Koi restaurant and flora del Sol were our favourite. Challenges: Construction Work: The extensive renovations, including the main pool and beachfront restaurant, were not communicated prior to arrival. This was disappointing, and the front desk staff seemed dismissive of concerns. Future guests should be informed of such disruptions or offered compensation. Nothing was offered to us despite 12 hours of non stop drilling outside our room. Conclusion: The Grand Park Royal Cancun offers a beautiful beachfront location, exceptional staff, and standout perks like all-inclusive room service that elevate the experience. However, the ongoing construction detracted from the enjoyment. Rating: 3.5/5

I really like this hotel, it's my second visit, the first was with friends from the University and now with my family. It's a beautiful hotel, delicious food in all the restaurants. Excellent service.

We had an amazing vacation at the Grand Park Royal. The restaurants were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pools were perfect for relaxing. One even had a swim-up bar. The staff really made our stay special. They were all very friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It was an overall wonderful experience! Special thanks to hotel’s concierge, Jessica Martinez. She was great and a big help throughout our stay. She handled all of our needs effortlessly, from restaurant and cabana reservations to making sure everything was set up perfectly. Every morning, she would greet us with a smile and share all the information we needed about the resort’s activities. Jessica truly went out of her way to assist us, and her kindness and attentiveness made our experience unforgettable. She was amazing to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for better service.

The beach is phenomenal! The Asian and Mexican restaurants are a must. Italian was lacking. Jessica and yajira(the best) were attentive butlers..they booked our dinner reservations and our travel to and from the airport. We had balinese beds every day we wanted them either at the beach or the pool. Damian at the adults swim up bar kept our drinks filled. Snack bar was yummy, nachos, burgers, hot dogs and there was a pizza shack. Strawberry margaritas are a must have so delicious. Rooms were nice, beds comfy. Swim ups were a little smaller and plain compared to what we've experienced. Buffet was lacking especially at breakfast and the one night we had dinner there it was not good, other than the loafs of bread and butter😜. Otherwise I recommend this hotel for location and beach. Don't be afraid to take the city bus for a $1 it is crowded but gets you quickly and cheaply where you want to go. Karaoke and silent disco was so much fun. We definitely enjoyed our time here and can't wait to visit again.

It was our 30th anniversary. First impression was pretty sad as far as not even a welcome drink. I mentioned it, and was just stared at. Was whisked away to try to get us to sign up for a “welcome breakfast “, ie, timeshare presentation. Our room was nice. Took 4 days of back and forth conversations with staff to get our room safe fixed. Always had to confirm our reservations with our assigned butler for restaurants, etc. so might have been less stressful to do it ourselves. Food wasn’t consistent or what was included, such as Saki. Asked for hot sauce and was handed tobasco. 😂 Didn’t know about a lot of the amenities or app for room service and other things until the last day by trying to order room service. Our toilet quit working the day before leaving. And …drumroll…cockroaches the size of small mice all over around the restaurant by the main pool while we were eating! Who knows where else! Saw a large turtle, wanting to lay her eggs. We were walking on the beach. Sat down to watch. It was dark. Security chased us off very rudely as well as the turtle with a bright flashlight. All in all, we made it nice and fun for ourselves and the rooftop bartender, Casanova, adult pool staff, views, tours were fun. Kinda felt like American Mexico. Guess we should have dived deeper into another area for Mexican culture. After all, that’s what we were there for!

The property was fine, the staff was good but the entire service was bungling and inconvenient. Was unable to use room service, and log on to their app. I would have to get in contact and travel to a separate building to make reservations for dinners and spa. Dinner reservations got messed up for 1 of the days (it took me talking to 5 different people and 6 unanswered phone calls) to fix it. Never saw the butler and heard from them 1 time through Whatsapp about activities for 1 day of a 5 day stay. It was just hard and frustrating to stay informed, communicate and try to be independent. When I was able to get a restaurant reservations, the food and staff were good.

Highly recommend Grand Park Royal Cancun. We had a strict diet with food allergies, Grand Park Royal took care of everything for us without any issues. Very well taken care of. The private butler service was amazing!! Highly recommend Yajahira! She was Amazing!!

Super professional and friendly staff. The grounds are immaculately clean. Peaceful, extremely peaceful. We got to catch up with rest and relaxation. The beach is probably the best beach out of all the hotels in the hotel zone. The beach front balconies are hands down the best.

This was my first time in Cancun. The grand park royal was an amazing hotel! I was not expecting VIP access but it was worth it! It included free room upgrades (even though most of the rooms had great views anyways) , a butler service that could book reservations or provide us with anything we needed, and discounts on amenities that aren’t free. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in every way. Food, pool, views amazing in every way.

Like other reviews mentioned, they try very hard on advertising their hotel. Upon arrival after a long flight day, you’d expect to check in and settle down in your hotel room. But after checking in, they pull you aside and proceed to give you a presentation for about 30-40 min and then asks you to join them in an hour long complementary breakfast tour the next morning where they can continue to try to sell you. After that, they send us off to our room situated in the furthest building from the main hall despite being vip status from Expedia. Food was good, nothing too memorable. DUDES REMEBER TO BRING LONG PANTS AND SLEEVE SHIRTS. ALL of their evening ‘specialty’ dinings REQUIRE long pants for guys. And for their buffet dining, I was refused entry when I wore a tank tee when I arrived for breakfast. I had to walk back to my hotel room and change to a shirt to be allowed in for breakfast. When I got in, I realized there was only dress code for men. I see ladies in their bikini tops in the buffet but I was turned away with a tank tee.

It was definitely a nice property and staff were friendly. I did utilize my vip access and got a free room upgrade for my family. Lobby was a bit small and crowded during check in but other than that it is not too bad. Jessica who was our personal butler was very thorough with us as vip guess and personally came out to greet us and look for us.
