Breakfast was delicious and well laid out every day of the stay, regardless of what time we arrived within the breakfast time window, which was generously open until 9:30. Staff were friendly and kind and responded to everything we needed. I loved the location because it was not in the center of things, but on the edge of things. The included parking lot space is a huge bones, and we found it easy to come and go from the city for day outings and quick grocery store runs. We also found it easy to access everything within the old town, including Canyon Road and the Plaza district. We walked to and ate at Cowgirl, El Calejon, The Burger Stand, and takeout from Pizza Centro, and all were awesome and quick to get to. The view was of the courthouse, but we didn’t expect anything in that department, and the room was really quiet. We did not hear a single other guest from inside the room. There was some construction, but the start and finish time of the work was well within daylight hours and did not disturb our stay. There were stairs to our room as expected, no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues should check to make sure to request the ground floor.

Excellent location
Really liked the gas fireplace
Bedding and bathroom were terrific
Was so happy to be able to leave bags for a few hours
Breakfast needs updating
No brown sugar or healthy substitute to white sugar- just Splenda
Only sugary breads/muffins- all white flour
Should be more with the times

Beautiful hotel/Inn. Comfortable clean room and nice decor reflecting on the Spanish culture. Easy Walking distance to downtown and many shops and restaurants. Off street parking. The Breakfast that was included was fantastic! High quality and great selections in a beautiful dining room.
That we could not stay longer! Next time will plan for a longer visit!

The location a few blocks from the plaza was perfect for getting about on foot. The Railyard area, a fantastic new discovery for me, was also very close. The view of the mountains from my room was lovely and, if the weather had been warmer, I’d have enjoyed sitting out in the private patio. The bedding and pillows were great. Fireplace is a charming and much appreciated feature. I didn’t spend time in the lobby but it seemed a nice area to sit and work, drink tea or whatever.
In my opinion the breakfast was not particularly appealing.

Fireplace was not working, no one came to fix it after asking twice

Location to the Plaza

The best aspect of Old Santa Fe hotel is their location. Due to remodeling of reception area our tiny window overlooked a big dumpster and there was no delicious breakfast they advertise on their website. The breakfast offerings were worse than a holiday in express! Room was clean, but tiny, worn and dark.

Location to downtown -- not right in it but close. The "old world" charm of the place -- not everyone's taste but it reminded me of European pensiones (old world).
Place is under construction so it's temporary but noice, construction dust, etc.

The room is beautiful. I loved the big bedroom, with chairs near the fireplace. The dressing area near the bathroom was very nice. The separate sitting room with the desk area was also convenient. I loved the private patio with the water fountain feature. Beautiful!
The hot breakfast foods could be better. The muffins, yogurt and fruit were good.

Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff
Construction work, which I did not know about in advance. Trucks/workers arrived early on weekdays, parked just outside my room, I had to keep shutters closed for privacy, which made the room even darker than it already was. Bedroom could have used more lighting.

right now they are doing some construction but really, it was not disruptive.

Very warm & quaint. Also, convenient to all of the things we wanted to see and do in Old Town Santa Fe.
There was remodeling going on that caused some minor issues but we understood that couldn’t be helped.

The front desk clerk mistakenly entered our room with his master key and had another guest with him.
We were to have had a room with a fireplace and our room didn’t have that.

coffee, cereal, bread, muffins and fruits were there ad libitum
Burritos and omelets were heated in a microwave oven rather than cooked from scratch. That's not appealing.

size of the room. and the fireplace
they were working over my car and I would have rather moved it then be covered with plastic

Just ok!

The king bed, the fireplace (unfortunately there was no labeling of the switch that regulated the fireplace. We went the first day without sufficient heat because the heat from the heater was very minimal. Without the fireplace, we had insufficient heat. Staff was responsive.
See above. Also the remodeling was an interference to being able to park our car in a close vicinity to our room. My feeling is that the remodeling is expansive.

Historic building. Location was good for us, 10-20 min. walk to sites within SF. Quiet, parking lot right at hotel, breakfast included.
The room had a musty smell but was clean.
