Property was tucked back down a quiet street but in a great location to shops and restaurants. The hotel was so charming and the rooms were gorgeous.

The location, the staff, the outside spaces

Very close to some restaurants. The bed was clean and comfortable.
The heat was difficult to control making the room toohot at times. Breakfask had few option, but the coffe was good. Parking was very tight.

Check in was easy and the staff were nice. There was shelter for parked cars, nice courtyards and buildings. Our room was small but nicely decorated. The included breakfast was decent
All accommodation options in Santa Fe are a bit expensive, a fairer price for the small size of the room we had would haven been better

Staff was very nice, cute place, felt safe
A little old appliances but worked fine

Nice gem away from the downtown but close enuf to get there easily. Cozy, comfy place.

Location to downtown
Would have like the breakfast to start a little earlier

Nice well lit parking. Fast WiFi.
Thermostat not functional. The room was too hot to sleep in. The room was right off a busy street in Santa Fe. The noise level from the traffic not conducive to relaxation or sleep. Walls are paper thin. I could hear everything that was going on in the room next door. Even heard the neighbors alarm go off in the morning. The lack of privacy was uncomfortable. The beautiful wood work made a horrible creaking noise constantly. Every time I would fall asleep I would be woken up by one of these things. The refrigerator was located next to the bed and it also had a cycle when it would make a loud noise. If you stay here bring your ear plugs!

located close to historic downtown. quiet, clean
very tight parking for larger vehicles

Comfortable bed, chair and bathroom. Staff was accommodating. I had to leave at 8am which was before breakfast. So the staff let me take a few times to eat for breakfast in my room.
Air conditioner did not work very well. Thankfully it was raining or the heat could have been bad.

The staff was wonderful! I had trouble getting my TV to work, and Rose (who was filling in for the usual front desk person and didn't really know a lot about how to do the job) worked determinedly and got it working. It's an older building, so things aren't perfect, but it's cute and comfortable.
Wasn't thrilled with the twin bed, but I booked it because of the low price, so can't complain. Didn't feel completely safe the first night because I couldn't get the window to lock. Actually none of the windows would close properly and lock, but this was the one right next to the door and easily accessible. The next day i got on a chair and managed to get the top panel pushed up and the bottom panel pushed down so the lock would engage. Drove past the place twice before I found it.

for property that charges around $200 a night for a room, the complimentary breakfast was embarrassing. Basically just a collection of cheap processed sugar laced garbage food (processed sugar filled cereal, processed sugar filled yogurt, cheap cafeteria quality coffee—just the cheapest garbage breakfast they could manage to throw together. I would expect this were it at a Motel 6, but for a hotel that charges around $200 and night for a room this is just flat out unacceptable. at least make a small effort to have some reasonably healthy food for those guests who aren’t interested in poisoning themselves with spoonfuls of processed sugar. also, both the in-room refrigerator and in-room air conditioner were so loud it was as if a cement mixer was idling outside. Had to unplug both of them when I went to sleep just so that I could go to sleep. with respect to the shower, the difference between getting scalding water and water that is basically room temperature was about 1 cm of adjustment on the dial—dangerous. the in-room television was again one of the cheapest things they could possibly find, a small rectangle of a flat panel TV it looks like a child’s toy – again not appropriate when you’re charging people $200 a night for the room.

The owner was outstanding. He was engaging and polite, friendly, etc. Plus he was very informative of the town and surroundindg.
The shower was somewhat dangerous when stepping in the shower. The shower curtain was held up by a string. There was no sink drain stopper. The floor tiles in the bath were all cracked. We were unable to darken the room at night due to the outside lights. The air conditioner was extremly noisy all night long. Breakfast was minimal.

We loved this place. It was quiet; we rarely even saw other guests. Private parking was nice. The property is slightly hidden from the street, so we felt secluded. We were near enough to old town that it was a 5 minute drive. We walked to Cowgirl BBQ for dinner. The room made us feel like we were staying in a traditional casita yet we had all the modern conveniences we needed, including air conditioning, mini fridge, and microwave. Main area had a tv. The second bed in a bedroom was also nice for families.
It was a little pricey, but we expected that to be close to the plaza.

Cozy and feels homey. Not a luxury hotel but rather a quaint and peaceful gem. Very old world European feel. Would have never known you’re in the middle of a major city. Easy short walking to dozens of restaurants, coffee shops and the center of town!!

We've been to Santa Fe many times, but never knew about the Guadalupe Inn. Decided to try it this time and we're glad we did! Pete, the owner and an extremely gracious host, was very welcoming and gave us a lot of information about the property which he largely built himself. Couldn't ask for a better location - near the plaza and just a few minutes' walk north of the Railyard District. Each of the 12 rooms at the Inn is unique and several have balconies. Our was on the ground floor facing Agua Fria street and had a nice little outdoor sitting area. If you like the Santa Fe feel, you'll love this place!
There was nothing not to like. It is a bit difficult to find - we drove past the narrow entrance off the street twice - and the signage is minimal, probably due to city restrictions. Breakfast, which is prominently mentioned on the website, is still not yet back to pre-Covid days, but still was more than adequate. Unfortunately, we had to leave the next morning - next time, we'll definitely stay longer!

Always wonderful.

The location of this accommodation was excellent, being so near Old Town Santa Fe. The hosts were friendly and helpful to a fault. The room was commodious.
The room cleaner had not emptied the garbage from previous guests under the bathroom sink. And it looked to me like the sheets on the bed had not been changed as they were all wrinked when I threw back the covers, as though someone had slept on them previously. So I slept on a clean towel instead. : )

Chobani yogurt was great and coffee, fresh fruit. Other offerings didn’t interest us.
The shower head sprayed in different directions so the shower wasn’t satisfying. It was hard to get thoroughly wet and washed.

this place has a lot of character! an old building with good remodel. Fun to stay there. Good to come with sense of adventure. Old wooden outdoor stairs, great bathtubs, nicely decorated.

Attractive, clean, and beautifully decorated room. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom excellent.
Breakfast was not available yet when we left about 7am.

This inn may be a family run business, but I am not sure. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is available onsite but the entrance is a little tight. The rooms are modest, clean, and comfortable and the location is within walking distance of historic downtown Santa Fe. It is also nice that they provide a free breakfast.
There are a few minor maintenance issues that should be addressed. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and the bed was a bit rattly and old.

the pillows were a bit hard

Staff was super friendly and happy to provide trip suggestions/talk about Santa Fe. The location is excellent and within walking distance to most of downtown Santa Fe. Would definitely stay here again if looking for an overnight in Santa Fe.
