Exceptional staff and environment

A total of 20 of us stayed at the hotel and the service was outstanding. The hotel is down the street from Bourbon St. We were in walking distance from everything. The location, staff and overall atmosphere was outstanding!! I would absolutely stay there again and again.

Great location, amazing staff both in the hotel, restaurant and security team.

The staff, service, food, amenities were AMAZING!!

The only downfall was we found a bedbug in our room. Very disappointed in that BUT the entire team worked to ensure that everything was was done correctly and efficiently. They took the extra mile to make sure I was okay and comfortable as my anxiety level was through the roof. They immediately rectified the problem and made the remainder of our stay pleasant and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and felt at ease in our new room. The entire stay until this point was a 11/10 but due to this I had to give them a 6/10 because cleanliness is next to godliness and being that this was my first ever in life experience like this I was shocked and felt uneasy and uncomfortable despite all their best efforts. But they continued to earn my trust back and for that I would not count them out as a future hotel stay.

Great stay, but the details.

Great location next to French quarter but peaceful at night. Upscale decorating and image.

Room was not cleaned each night. Once I complained it was cleaned that day and also on the final night of a 6 night stay. Not a problem but at the price, service is expected.

Great stay. I had a problem and management made things right without hesitation.

The staff was amazing. From the cleaners to the front desk/guest services to the manager. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant was very good. The bed was comfortable.

The room furniture was outdated. As well as the doors, carpets and bathroom counters.

Perfect hotel walking distance from everything great to see!

This hotel was so nice with a large room and comfortable bed! It was connected to one of the nicer restaurants in the area-Tackle Box-that had awesome charbroiled oysters. We sat at the bar which was awesome!

Make sure to tell them when you are arriving so your room is ready.

Wonderful!

Location was great! In the middle of everything! Food and drinks at the bar and Tacklebox were amazing! Tina, the bartender at the Tacklebox is a beauty! So sweet!

The speaker system! OMG that was the worst part..there was an emergency but it was quickly rectified but the speaker system was extremely loud and static was just awful!

Very conveniently located, great VFM, very friendly staff Everything I needed and wanted without the fuss of the overly priced hotels nearby.

Situated next to a church so expect some noise - didn't bother me much. I was there off-season so very quiet, but I can see how noises coming in from the corridor might become an issue if the hotel was full

The staff was great. The room was decent. The location was good. They had a DJ at night.

The elevators went down due to someone pulling the fire alarm. I felt like there could've been some compensationto those affected but there wasn't. Wifi should be free because reception was a little spotty.

You guys need to work on the rooms and check in procedures

The bathroom not a lot of air conditioning in it and the air conditioning was blowing out some funky smoke smell we had to park down the street and walk back up to stay there with you guys I called before we drove down in our truck

You guys need to remodel the bathroom and bedsand pillows they need to be replaced more taxi and Uber ride

Poor maintenance facilities. Need to do some work with staff

The convenience of where the hotel was located around everything.

Some of the staff were not friendly as if you had a problem. They acted like you were bothering them. The room were misleading. I booked a king size bed with a sofa bed but that was not the case. I was advised they don’t have any rooms like that. I had to be moved 3 times due to a leaking toilet in the first room. the second room an over flowing toilet in the second room no one came to mop the bathroom floor after the maintenance guy came to plunge the toilet which that room still had problems the reason I moved to the 3rd room.😡just was not the visit I expected. Me and my husband were not a satisfied guest.

We had a corner room which had extra windows. We could watch the streets below. One night we saw a wedding party dance thru the streets complete with musicians and twirling parasols. Very cool! Our hotel concierge, Yvette, was fantastic, honest, easy to talk with, funny, and so helpful with her many tips and suggestions. The desk staff and cleaning staff and doormen and valet staff were all exceptional. Thank you. Will definitely stay again.

The sidewalks outside in most of the area (not just this hotel) are sort of a mess. If you aren’t constantly watching your steps you could easily trip, fall, twist an ankle, or worse. I have no idea how a wheelchair would ever get around🤷‍♀️ There were many holes, broken concrete, missing pieces, sloped pavement, etc…. Yikes.
