The property is memorable, and historic. And I like the staff are amazing.

Beautiful room, awesome view!
Loud music until 3am. Carousel bar should open earlier for brunch cocktails.

Excellent location great staff lovely big room and a special character of the hotel super clean and lovely place !
Nothing all great

The beds were comfortable but the pillows go flat no matter how many you stack up.
Everything costs a fortune at that hotel. It just ruined my whole trip and I'm done with NOLA.

The staff and exterior beauty of the hotel, as well as the lobby.
The rooms. We had to switch out rooms because the first one was dirty and the mattresses were horrible. I finally went downstairs at 6:15 a.m. (having stayed awake all night) and asked for another room. The manages acted swiftly, assuring that the next roo. (1459) would be better. The mattresses were the same. Horrible. We stayed a total of 5 nights. The first time we stayed, the room was comfortable, clean, and updated. Beautiful. This stay was such a disappointment. The phone didn't work and we couldn't sit on the chair (desk) for fear it would collapse, it wobbled.

Good location, nice and quiet rooms, great bar !!!
I wish it could be cheaper…

Gorgeous property, clean and quite yet right in the middle of everything we wanted to do while in town. The Christmas decorations were stunning!
The fact that we were hotel guests and were never able to get a seat at the carousel bar no matter the time. They need to offer hotel guests first seating options and maybe limit a chair to two drinks so everyone can have the experience!! Very disappointed but still enjoyed a drink at a different spot.

Room was small considering rate for room. Little to no counter space in bathroom, cramped.

The concierge, Anita exceptional! Nolan the bellman so helpful. The Carousel with Corey as bartender was professional and attentive. All good!
Room service, the food was great but there was several times miscommunication with orders.

Truly everything
If you’re a light sleeper and your room has the ac lighting blinking blue ask for a sleeping mask. But otherwise I find very hard to find something I didnt like about this property

Great location in the heart of the French Quarter. Fabulous historical building which has been well maintained.
Excessively expensive car parking charges.

Friendliness of the service people. The room was very nice. Bathroom a little small. My wife’s birthday during stay. We were given free breakfasts and drinks at carousel bar. We enjoyed your venue very much 👍
One housekeeper didn’t give us things we needed

Beautiful hotel! The staff was very kind. We were in the city to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and the hotel sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Vert thoughtful! The room is small, but I can appreciate the culture of it.
We were in early one night and could hear all the partying happening on Burbon Street

Location was excellent. Hotel was clean and well taken care of. A rich history of people that stayed there enhanced the experience and brought with it an element of appreciation for the rather dated decor.
There isn’t much on the negative side, other than the shower pressure being a little underwhelming, but I’m really reaching to pick out a negative.

The doorman was always pleasant and helpful. He directed us to some local restaurants when we asked for recommendations. He remembered us each time he saw us and made us feel very welcomed during our stay.
Our initial room air conditioning wasn't working. After about three hours, air still not working and third time informing the front desk, they finally moved us to a new room. It wasn't that the air was not working, that's a mechanical problem. It was the lack of communication from the front desk staff. They finally helped, but a bit more communication from them would have been nice.

Service was impeccable and beyond expectations! Location was perfect. Hotel was quiet.
Microwaves in the rooms would be nice.

Location was perfect. Its in the centre of all things to see and do in New Orleans , but is still quiet. I had a good Mississippi river view and the classic feel of the hotel is nice to the senses.
The room was clean and it smells clean as you come in. Bed was good and comfortable.
Initial front desk service.
Though I have to request to be moved to another room with better location, view of the river. I suggest give the best vacant rooms if the rooms are available whenever possible, especially first time guests and for the price we were paying it will make us come back that way.

we loved our room. but the best was the food I think we ate most of our meals at our hotel!

Location perfect, friendly staff

the hotel is a beautiful building in the heart of the French quarter within walking distance of Jackson Square, great boutiques, bars, and restaurants. I loved the roof top pool and the Carousel Bar.
I wish the rooms had Bluetooth speaker alarm clocks like other hotels I’ve stayed in Nola. I also wish the pool bar was open. I feel like if the pool is open then it’s bar should be too. The safe was also broken in my room.

The Monteleone is like no other hotel. The staff will go out of their way to make you comfortable and serve you as royalty. Nolan did a FANTASTIC job of making us feel at home. He is a kind and wonderful man who ensured we will return. He made our kids feel so special. They will always remember him. Charles also went over and above. We appreciated you guys!

The Monteleone is so much like the Waldorf Astoria that it is striking. All of us have stayed in both locations and had the same reactions. Both are lovely, but the rooms, particularly the bathrooms are small. They are beautiful and historic. Not inexpensive.

Everything was perfect. There was nothing I didn't like.
