This property was run down, poorly managed, dilapidated, and horribly uncomfortable. I can’t believe how much I paid for this room. We left a night early just to get away. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had traveling.
Quite literally everything. Nothing was stocked. Broken windows that wouldn’t close in 90 degree weather, and I did not feel safe.

Nothing
The place was filthy, no soap in the bath room, no sceens on the windows, bugs and wasp in the room, I got stung, it's in a noisy crack neighborhood, NO SECURE lock on the door, patch work repairs everywhere, etc. I could go on, but I'll stay at a Motel 6 next time.

This is my absolute FAVORITE hotel in Denver… possibly my favorite hotel ANYWHERE! You ABSOLUTELY CANNOT beat the price for what walk into here. What a JEWEL this place is. As far as the aesthetic, EVERY LITTLE detail is so perfectly thought out! I have had the pleasure of staying in several of the rooms and each one is just perfect in its own way. All the beds, this far, have been SUPER comfortable. I just feel right at home when I’m at Chalet!

Everything. Each room is unique and perfectly thought out. You cannot beat the price for as perfect as this place is!
It’s on Colfax Ave. which is a noisy, busy street. This could be a bother to those who aren’t used to it, but that’s literally the only thing I could think of and it really didn’t bother me. They provide earplugs and eye masks in all the rooms too!

The old style the antique setting beautiful room at a good price, my only disappointment was finding dirty panties in the closet😶🌫️🥺😤
Finding dirty panties in the closet was very disgusting and foul I mean me and my fiance were staying at a beautiful chalet with dirty underwear in the closet.

Everything! Location was perfect, just up the road from the Ogden Theater, which was perfect for the concert we were going to. The room was great, clean, very roomy and set up perfect for anyone wanting to stay in and cook. Bonus: Voodoo Doughnuts just up the street.

I loved the decor of the Albert suite. I loved the original lighting, crown molding, the feeling of elegance. It was walking distance to a local diner and the Botanical gardens.

Nice location and Victorian style was pleasant
A few minor issues. Room could use a new paint job. The attic area would make a great bfast place for g guest.

it was very interesting as far as the decor
there was a huge water leak when we took a shower , the bedding had stains and it was freezing

The building was stunning, the room was large and beautiful, the bed melted me like butter into it, the bath and shower were large, warm, and accommodating, the little eating room was quaint, and the kitchen was well stocked. All around a wonderful place to be. A superb value for all the majesty you get.
The beautiful building sits across the street from a gas station and bus stop, right next to a traffic light, so the noise and people gathering can be a bit worrisome, but there is also a liquor store and tasty pizza shop a few feet away so it balances out somewhat. The lack of door on the toilet would be difficult for most to handle in any kind of group setting.

the place is adorable and charming, with many unique and quaint little details that make the stay special. the host was gracious and friendly, letting us put our stuff in the room before check-in so we didn't have to lug it around for a few extra hours, and also provided some suggestions for lunch spots.
the area was slightly sketchy, but not too bad

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms I had were amazing, and I was so pleased to have stayed there. It was a beautiful experience.
The neighbourhood wasn't great, and the location was further outside the city centre than I'd have liked.

I would love an ice machine. more cooffe and sugars. I felt bad that you are paying someone to repair the outside that moved so slow and was sitting down a lot. so much potential on the outside of this property

It was a very big room for the two of us, we had 3 king sized beds and a couch.
The TV has Netflix as well! The shower was great and the bathroom beautiful!
There were not very many outlets, but we made it work just fine!
Also we had troubles with our door and we could not get out of our room.
We called the reception though and quickly we got helped by a very kind man who fixed our door!

Albert 1 room was beautiful, very comfortable, but noise level was insane with the vagrants outside and constant traffic noise.
Nothing unless they switched locations

We stayed 4 nights in the Albert I Suite, the bed was very comfortable, i expected a big luxurious blanket to go with it but they only provided us with one thin blanket & we asked for another. The headboard was almost broken, very wobbly so be careful ;) Tv over the fireplace has Netflix & Amazon prime (fireplace is just for looks i believe). The lighting situation is hard to figure out at first, it took me a minute to figure out what light switch goes to what light.
The bathroom is stunning, the hardware is antiqueish & beautiful. Shower was amazing, large showerhead & a handheld one as well. We did have trouble shutting the door on the shower completely, being all glass i didn't try to figure out how to shut it so it did leak onto the floor. The bathtub is the size of a normal tub, just looks better lol
There is a small kitchen right when you open the door. It does have a refrigerator & a dishwasher which is very nice for longer stays. Two burner stove top & coffee pot with coffee & sugar as well. Plates & utensils are in the kitchen but no paper towels/napkins/kleenex or counter cleaner.
The closet is decent size with an iron board & iron in it, as well as a small safe. There is a "porch" off the side of the room with 2 chairs & a table, in that room there's a door to go out to what looks like it used to be a brick staircase & they walled it off so it's a balcony. We went in May so the trees & everything made us kind if hidden when we were out there, very nice for smoking & people watching!
Overall i loved the room, heavy curtains help block SOME outside noise & does make the room very dark for sleeping!
The location is terrible, right across the street from a gas station & an empty lot which makes it a nice spot for the homeless...they made me very uncomfortable when we went outside, do NOT park on the street with the meters, my car was broken into & had some things stolen.

no breakfast...the decorations were wonderful
neighborhood is a little seedy; patio should have been open

Atmosphere was fun, self check-in was easy. Sun room off main room was nice. Location isn't the best as far as the night life in this part of the neighborhood, but you can't beat the location for the price and amenities!
Hard to see your face in the bathroom mirror in the Albert I room- very dim lighting. Shower door would not close completely so water would spill out onto the floor in front of the toilet. Kitchen faucet has a leak by the handle. Pillow cases had visible stains removed.
