We were happy with the size of the room, the view, air conditioning was consistent, hot water for the shower was great.
Breakfast ends too early on Friday, at 9am. It would be great to get a discount on parking. That was so expensive

The room size was great! The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. I love that they have real dishes for breakfast and coffee.
They lost my reservation. It took over an hour to check in, and no one would update us on what was going on. The lobby did not have air conditioning, so it was so HOT!! The staff was unfriendly. I ended calling booking.com to resolve the issue myself because the staff was doing nothing to help us! Parlin is ridiculously expensive!

we finally (after an hour delay) were checked in
Called hotel the day before to ask for early check-in, was told they can't know availability for earl;y check-in until the morning-of... Called back the next morning, couldn't get through, no one answered the phones. Mid-day we stopped in to check again, they said 4pm check-in. I had booked a room for our niece, who was visiting us from California. We arrived for check-in at 4pm, the front desk were cold as ice, and would not recognize the Booking.com room confirmation number, that doesn't make sense. They insisted that must have a hotel confirmation #, not a Booking.com confirmation #... We didn't understand that and we asked to speak to the manager, who was in his office behind the front desk, he refused to come out. They said we need to call Booking.com and have them call the hotel. My phone was running out of juice, had to charge it. Took a short break to charge the phone. We called Booking.com, that took a while. Booking.com called the front desk, continued our case. Eventually they had gotten the OK from management to honor our pre-paid reservation. Room was fine, but the check-in ordeal lasted an hour. Yikes!! That's a bad look for Home2 Suites and Booking.com. I'll insist on a local hotel confirmation # next time, if there is such a thing.

Comfortable and very helpful staff
I love the cheese omelettes
The use of separate remotes to switch from Cable to HDMI but is more of a personal thing and probably more of a safety protocol to protect their equipment.
Could use a bit more variety on the breakfast but I still enjoyed what they offered. Surprised how quickly the whole milk bottles were taken and weren’t restocked the next few days though there was the fat free bottles so I took some for my drinks.

Vanessa at the front desk went above and beyond to assist me in finding the location as it was difficult for me to find at first, she was very pleasant , understanding and friendly.
Ended up having to pay $100 to park as the 1st time I selected hourly parking because I didn’t intend to have to leave back out once I parked the 1st evening instructions was not clear about parking

Pool and gym facilities were good and the kids enjoyed.
Arrived to be told I had to pay an extra £50 in case of damages etc (no mention prior, the floor we are staying on being decorated, no mention beforehand. Breakfast is a joke, greedy humans over indulging without a thought for anyone else, plus nobody regulating who was taking what!! Poor service.

It was very clean. Staff was amazing and attentive. Very friendly people.
There was a fire alarm that woke us up at night. It was an unpleasant experience. Everything else was top tier.

🙃🙂Where can I start? My 4 girlfriends and I and since I scheduled a girl's trip in the Poconos. Unfortunately the home we rented didn't work out and we were able to receive a fullou receive a full refund. We immediately scrambled at a local shoprite to find suitable accommodations. 🥲Using booking.com we were able to find home to suites in Philadelphia. This location is phenomenal directly across the street from Reading Terminal and right next door to a parking garage (cost).
The young lady that checked us in was compassionate and caring since we were there at almost midnight, frustrated and worn out. Carrie, the young lady in the morning that we spoke to during checkout was phenomenal and caring and allowed us some extra time in the lobby to eat before we separated from our lady's trip.🥰We we're able to salvage our vacation due to the accommodations and the location of the Home2 Suites hotel. We will be frequently visiting this hotel separately with own families. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Thank you for saving what could have been a ruined weekend since some of the young ladies traveled from out of state to be there. Thank you. Thank you.😊😊🤩
There was zero issue or problems.

The staff was overall very nice and checked in constantly to see how my stay was going.
The room had a good size and was clean.
The pool did not work during the whole stay. Plus, my room got out of power in the middle of the night and I had to wait over 30 minutes in the dark for someone to come and check to then wait to be recollected to another room. I never received compensation or token of appreciation for the incident despite being offered one

Location was very central to most things. The staff were very helpful.
The rooms at the back of the Hotel face the car park so expect the occasional car alarm or beeping horn. But worse was the garbage and trash collection between 7am and 7.30 am, that is your wake up alarm, lots of vehicle noise, banging and clattering for about 10 mins.

Perfect location..across from the Reading Market, 2 doors from the Convention Ctr and 2 doors from the hop on-hop off bus
A few maintenance issues. The USB outlet in the nightstand was terrific idea, but not functional. The door would not self lock. But the staff are outstanding and accommodating.

Location and room configuration and the room features.
Everywhere the hotel was showing major wear and tear on the property overall. Furniture needs replacing in the lobby area and in room. Walls in hall ways show major wear with wall with chips and tears. Tiles floors on room with major chips. Shower heads not fully functioning
2.0 / 5.0
Easy to find, convenient parking, walking distance to many restaurants and events.
Room was not ready at check-in, after check-in a staff member had to come in to fix the a/c and heater control panel, the water in the shower does not get all that hot.

This facility has to rebuild as soon as possible. The beds were really uncomfortable (mattresses worn out) and the sofa was dirty in different ways...the chair completely worn out...see the pictures attached.....

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Home2 Suites through Booking.com, and unfortunately, my experience was greatly overshadowed by the unprofessional behavior of a reception clerk. The encounter left a bitter taste in my mouth and significantly affected my overall impression of the hotel.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was looking forward to a pleasant check-in process. However, the reception clerk, whose name was John I regretfully did not catch, greeted me with a lack of warmth and hospitality. It was evident from the start that they were disinterested in assisting guests and seemed to be going through the motions without any genuine concern for customer satisfaction.
As I approached the front desk, I offered a polite greeting and a smile, expecting a reciprocal friendly attitude. Instead, I was met with a dismissive response and a noticeable air of indifference. The reception clerk's tone was rude and bordering on impolite, which made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable during the entire check-in process. He told the other receptionists that she shouldn't touch other peoples id while she was looking at it for checking. I felt humiliated by his action.
I believe that a hotel's reception team plays a crucial role in shaping the overall guest experience. When a reception clerk is rude and unaccommodating, it negatively impacts the guests' perception of the establishment, and unfortunately, that was the case during my stay.
In conclusion, while the hotel itself has potential, my experience with the rude reception clerk left me with a negative impression. I may consider giving the hotel another chance in the future, but for now, I am reluctant to recommend it to others.

The beds were comfortable
The hotel desperately needs a refresh, carpets and furniture were nasty, but at least the bathroom and beds were clean. Breakfast was chaotic and needs to be reorganized and improved. Also, parking was $120 for a Sat-Mon stay

The location is great, right across the street from the Reading Terminal Market. Walking distance to so many attractions.
Parking was crazy and it was very expensive to even park in the parking garage for the hotel ($60/night)

Concierge was accommodating.
Parking was next door
The hotel room sheets had to be changed. There were food stains.
Hotel ran out of breakfast.
A dead mouse was in the lobby area at one point of time during the stay.
There were billing issues, this got fixed after complaints.
There should really be a designated area to unload.

The location
Too expensive. The rate was high and we expected more. The pool had a nasty chemical film and did not seem safe to swim in. The beds were not comfortable and had ripped sheets and a barely there mattress pad.
Carpet filthy. Pull out sofa bed was springy and uncomfortable. Lobby furniture filthy.
