Location in reference to the civic center is great. Very quiet. Nice rooms.
There aren’t many food options around the property. The parking garage was a bit small for serving both of the hotels there.

It was clean, set up very well, and so close to the civic center where we were going.

The location was convenient as we had an event early the next morning in downtown Peoria.
There were three things that impacted my rating: 1) the hot tub was not functional although we had called the day before to confirm this place's pool and hot tub were working. At check-in, we were told the hot tub had not been working since New Years, 3 months ago. That tells me the management is not fixing things when they break. 2) The room we got came with a sofa bed, however the room only came with an extra pillow and sheet for the extra bed. I called to get an extra blanket and was given a choice to come to the front desk to pick up or have it sent up to the room later. I agreed to pick it up myself, however when I got there the front staff realized they actually didn't have anything to be picked up, and told me it would be sent up to my room right away. We got our extra blanket after 5-10 minutes, but the experience soured me. 3) I was not told at check-in there would be a parking fee, however I learned about it when reviewing my final bill I recieved via email. Had I known I probably would have parked elsewhere, and I've called to dispute these surprise charges.

My bathroom shower had hair in it

We came in from out of town to see a comedy show at the Civic Center across the street. We were worried about walking in the cold rain. But we were pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a skywalk that extends from the parking garage, to the hotel and to the civic center. So we never had to go outside in the cold rain.
Our mattress was firm and old. It had deep impressions in it from usage.

The staff was great. Location too. Close to hospital.

Being able to stay in hotel that connected to the Civic Center. Check in went well.
I received email that my stay would not be at the Court yard as booked months ago instead at Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette. We were there running in a demolition derby therefore housekeeping was needed each day, but no one ever came. Called to request towels, toilet paper and trash pick up but no one showed. We had to go to front desk to get everything! We were told the breakfast was continental only to find out after getting our food it was $20.00 per person! There was no refrigerator or microwave, so no where to put our left over food. Beds were not queen size but full size. One bed was beside a wall so if you needed to get up you had to crawl over your partner to get out. Courtyard last year was awesome, I will not stay at Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette again.

location (proximity to civic center and skywalk) and beds were very comfortable
wish they included a breakfast

The staff was so friendly & amazing…also the very helpful skywalk to the civic center was amazing.
The thing I didn’t like is I certainly thought there could have been a complimentary breakfast for paying $330 for only one night stay. That was a big bummer for us and also having to pay an additional fee to park after spending so much on a room and no breakfast was also not ideal.

Room was clean. Nice lounge - eating area.
Lack of info about parking - which had to pay $12 for
Poor signage of directions into the building. Room was nice and clean but halfway definitely was not

The courtyard was closed so we were upgraded to the Marriott Bonoy!!! I loved everything about this hotel. I will definitely stay again

Only positive was it was located downtown to where I needed to be the following day.
There was no indication that the Courtyard Marriott was closed, and we were put in a room at The hotel Pere Marquette that was nothing like the room that was described when I booked, and since it was non refundable we didn't have any option but to stay. There were no wash cloths, we had to use hand towels to bathe with. The room was dusty and the floors weren't the cleanest. No microwave and the bed was uncomfortable. Also the room was quite small for the price. Definitely would not stay there again. Also they charge 12.00 for onsite parking per day. Told the counter upon check out about the issues and they dismissed it like it wasn't a big deal :(

The staff was friendly.
I booked a king suite with sofa bed and city view at the courtyard. Soon checkin they told us that the courtyard was not open, we were given a room at the Pierre instead. The fridge was on the floor under the window which only had a view of of the ceiling, large machines and other windows. We had to have a microwave brought up to the room because there was not one. We received no compensation for this huge inconvenience and I did not get the room I paid for. There were stains in the carpet as well.

The manager during the day yvanka was extremely sweet. The room was for the most part clean.
The evening lady wasn't as friendly as the day staff. The restaurant menu didn't offer barely anything and was over priced. The food came in a brown paper box. I expected more from a restaurant tied to marriott. The microwave had no plate in it. The bathroom had no vent and they only clean or even offer any new towels or bedding if your there for 5 days or more. The pools still closed. You pay $12 a day in addition to your room for parking. The Marriott store charges $3 for a bottle of Pepsi. The luggage rocks don't fit in the elevator that leads to the parking structure where you have to park. None of this was revealed upfront. They don't communicate when you prearranged early check in. They couldn't find our booking reservation twice when I called.

The Pere Marquette is a beautiful facility. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is great.
There is no in stay room cleaning. Have to request towels and wash rags. The pool is also closed.

It was awesome central to our location for our Nephews wedding!
But the hotel had to switch rooms at the last minute because we booked two rooms with a sofa beds and they weren’t available.. so they ended up giving us one handicap accessible room and a room with two twin beds that ended up not having a refrigerator we just had to throw our leftover food away since we had no where to keep it safely . Other than that it turned out okay we just needed beds to sleep in .

This has been an excellent stay. have stayed here several times in the past two months and the attentive staff let me know that they appreciate the loyalty! Vivian has been a pleasure to work with and is always willing to try and accommodate our needs or concerns.
The hotel is downtown Peoria. It's just a little disappointing that the surrounding businesses haven't all recovered from COVID closings as of yet.

The customer service was excellent and the room was exceptional
Unfortunately the Courtyard was closed so we lodged next door at the Pere Marquette Marriott

The staff and room was nice
I reserved a room at the Courtyard but ended up at the hotel next door. In fact I left on Friday a day earlier because I felt cheated and I won't be back. The staff were great but I think it should be noted I didn't like the change.

The staff was wonderful
My comforter was dirty and no housekeeping.
