Awesome location right smack in the middle of South Congress. Located near tons of restaurants, shops and bars. Simple, sleek, modern, clean design. Helpful staff.
South Congress Hotel is pricey. You’re definitely paying for the location. A microwave in the room would’ve been nice.

We've come a long way. It was our birthday. We traveled for 3 hours with our dog. During check in they said that there is no water in the hotel. They didn't help or provide a solution. they didn't even care. unprofessional employees.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Anything we needed, was delivered within minutes of request. They sent a text before our arrival, and using the same thread we could ask questions and/or make requests.
The room was good size, and looked quite attractive. That said, the bed was only sort of comfortable, and the rest of the room was exceptionally uncomfortable. Every chair was more uncomfortable than the last, and the couch was like sitting on concrete. the acoustics in the bar were horrible when crowded, as was most of the furniture in that area. Finally, the hotel claimed to have room services, but it was really just order from the restaurant downstairs, and then go down and get it yourself--not acceptable for a hotel with room rates as high as this one.

Location was great! We were able to walk to meals, and to walk to the river to exercise.

Coffee shop in courtyard was delish. Service was friendly. Beautiful decor. Hip events in the doest airs bar. Good, small pool for guests.
AC went out for an hour one night. Was repaired quickly.

Love that the hotel is right in the middle of modern & eclectic SoCo, amidst cafes, restaurants with yummy food, and boutiques! Even a modern/posh bodega called "Tiny Grocer"!
No direct step-out from our balcony to the pool (balcony was fenced in), even though the pool was our view!

This hotel is in one of the best locations in Austin - walking distance to eclectic shops and incredible local restaurants along South Congress. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - with a large bathroom - but beginning to show some wear and tear. Bar, lounge, and lobby present a very cool design aesthetic. South Congrss Hotel is a chill place to hang (even if you don't stay there) with a very Austin vibe.
Street noise can be loud, there's literally a fire station less than a block away. The pool was closed - they said for maintenance

Love this hotels vibe!
Absolutely nothing.

Well designed property in a great location at the heart of the South Congress restaurant and shopping district. Rooms are trendy, comfortable and clean, although a bit dark.
Pool was unfortunately closed on the Saturday of our stay with only about 24 hours notice. There was an offer to use a pool at a different hotel, but that kind of defeats the purpose of booking a hotel with an on property pool.

Especially pleased with the layout of our suite. The rooms were spacious enough to be comfortable but not ostentatious. The beds were very comfortable. We LOVED the queen bunk beds. GREAT IDEA!
The only thing we didn't like so much was the lighting. It was quite dark in our room with only lamps. Didn't help that it was overcast, I'm sure.

Location was great, very nice staff as well.
Add more lights in the room, very dim.

Location and rooms were clean
The staff. Gave us the room and took then at least 20 minutes to figure out which room we needed to be in and give us keys. Tried to make it up by giving us drink tokens. When to bar and were told had closed half an hour ago although 2 guys in front had just been given their drink. Front desk told us we could instead redeem at cafe inside. Went to cafe and said sorry we don’t participate in the same programs as the hotel. Asked to push back check out by and your, was told I’d be charged a bald rate. Overall the front desk did not seem like they had it together at all. The experience was a bad j always questioned the accuracy of the information given. If the front desk doesn’t know, then who does? !

Great pool and convenient access to rooms.. good pool food options.
Sadly our car was damaged while parked in the valet. They say they will cover the damages but what about stress, time and inconvenience….
The rooms are nice but minimalistic..few plugs for tech.

Great staff, big room, very clean. Wonderful amenities, very stylish.

The property was cute and located within walking distance to several places to shop and eat.
I didn’t like the fact that people would put their towels down at the pool early in the day and then not use the lounges till late afternoon. Since it’s such a small facility, this leaves others without any place to sit. Also, ice machines on each floor would have been great instead of having to ask for ice every time you wanted some.

The staff was very nice and helpful. It was clean and bed was comfortable.
The decor is very trendy but sterile. Very "cold" feeling. The lighting is terrible in the room making it hard to see., The street is loud on the front of the building . Certainly not worth $625!
