A combination of comfort and nature

A fantastic place that will surprise almost everyone. A combination of comfort and nature. Beautifully furnished rooms, comfortable, can be heated with air conditioning in winter. The most helpful staff. Friendly atmosphere. You have to experience this! Skipping this farm would be a big mistake.

Wonderful place to stay!

What a wonderful start to our Namibia trip! Lien and her team created a wonderful restful lodge with excellent service. the converted police station and newer buildings both made for excellent accommodation with huge comfy beds and lovely atmosphere. the dinner was absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful location and lapa. Amazing to see the rhinos and cheetahs. Upgraded room was amazing.

Rooms were cold in the evening. Dinner on second night was not worth what we paid or compared with the first night. WiFi did not work at all and no mention of that until we asked.

Absolutely wonderful 2 night stay with kids and friends...would go back in a heartbeat!

There was a ton of open outdoor space and grass for kids to run around, plus plenty of shade and places to lounge. Food was excellent, rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Very nice little pool plus a 2-person sauna (big bonus for chilly nights and mornings). It's owned by a family who have lived there for a long time, so it felt very well taken care of, with lots of thoughtful little additions. And lots of fresh vegetables from the garden right there!

Nothing...there's not a single complaint our whole family or friends could come up with.

Staying at Burgsdorf Guest Farm was an exceptional experience. There is a very big probability to see very rear animals (that we even could not see in Etosha). During our road trip in Namibia, we have been accomodated in 13 locations and Burgsdorf was for us absolute number 1! The rooms are absolutely amazing, great view, nice and clean. If you have the possibility, go for the deluxe room, it is worth it. The staff is so friendly and Anita is just great. She has offered to bake for us a cake when we mentioned we would like to have one. And the pool and it's area is wonderful. The food is great. We have felt welcome and so nicely treated. This location is definirely recommendable 😊

Burgsdorf really does deserve a stay especially if travelling south to Fish Canyon

The photos do not do Burgsdorf justice. The rooms are large clean and stylish. Food was excellent. Our hosts Pieter and his wife (can’t spell her name) were so interesting and informative. We learned a lot. Watching the cheetahs and rhinos being fed was the icing on the cake

Beautiful family-friendly stay near Maltahohe

The animals are wonderful and the pool was a fantastic place to refresh after a long drive. The staff and hosts were warm and welcoming and the beds were very comfortable.

A hidden gem in Southern Namibia

The free-roaming animals (especially the Springbok). The food was very well prepared and served in a variaty.

That the bar facility only opens at 17h00. Whilst relaxing at the swimmingpool one would like to have something to drink.

Stay here, you won't regret it

1) great value for money and a real oasis after a long, uncomfortable dusty drive. 2) the 'resident' animals that come to the guest farm's waterhole really make this place. Exciting to see these marvellous creatures close up. 3) I loved the attractive pool and pool area. 4) huge room and good food. 5) stargazing given the isolated location.

We loved everything about this place: it is beautifully located, the grounds, buildings and rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable, and the food was outstanding. Our children had a wonderful time playing, swimming and just watching the cheetahs and rhinos on the farm. What was most special about the guest farm were the hosts, who went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. This is just a perfect place to get away from it all!

Don't stay there only one night! Best hotel we stayed in Namibia!

Absolutely everything. First of all, location: Oasis where you can see many animals (zebras, rhinos, cheethas...). Rooms: Beautiful rooms with incredible views. We loved sunsets and sunrises there. Big room, clean, very comfortable beds, hot showers,... Food: Everything was delicious. Remember to have dinner there!! It was excellent. The only negative thing is that we only spent one night there and we regret that. Best hotel in Namibia for us!
