The staff went out of their way to provide a good experience. Quaint and interesting decorations on the property. Rooms were very private. Food excellent. We were provided with a brunch packet so that we could leave very early to drive to Sesriem for the day.
The bed was comfortable but we would have preferred a wider bed.

The staff were outstanding. Good food. Beautiful surroundings. Spacious rooms. The decor and artworks were nice.
The room only had solar power to support lights. No electricity for charging, etc. and no wifi in rooms. However, the wifi at the reception area was excellent. There were plenty of charging station there as well.

Everything was just great. The staff is really lovely and helpful, the meals were awesome and special. If you wanna relax, you can hang out there easily or have a look around, it's like an museum! There is a lot of interesting old stuff and many creative figures (out of trash) wherever you look. Anytime again!

It is a huge lodge with widely spread chalets and camping facilities along the river bed. Lovely made with all the comfort. Easy to find and a road junction near the Namib Naukluft Park. The dinner and breakfast were served at the table and we did not miss anything, just enjoyed it. Last but not least at night the lodge has a 360 degree unpolluted night view of the southern hemisphere.
all fine

A great place, very well decorated. We stayed at one of the chalets, and really enjoyed it.
The food is absolutely great.
They were very helpful and even if we had to leave early to go to Sossusvlei, they took care of preparing us a very nice breakfast pack and left it on our door with hot coffee before we left.
A special thank you for the gluten-free muffins for the breakfast, they were great and we loved the attention.

The food was definitely the best feature of this lodge. When you order your dinner from the lodge you will be treated to a 3 course menu like we didn’t get again at other stays in Namibia.
Owner and staff were all very nice to talk with and we liked the general atmosphere. The grounds and central buildings were all nicely decorated with antiques.
The houses (rooms) were spread out over the grounds and had lots of space between each other giving lots of privacy.
Quite a ride (depending a lot on how fast you dare to drive on gravel it can take more than 1.5 hours) from the local main attractions in Sossusvlei.
Houses / rooms run completely on 12V: no air conditioning, no charging of electronics (provided in main building), no fridge. The distance between main buildings and rooms “require” you to take the car to move between them.

Extremely friendly owners and staff! The food was delicious. We would have loved to stay a bit longer...
