Great little place to stay.

Lisa the owner could not have been more helpful, at the end of a phone if we needed anything. The house itself was perfect, on arriving we were given a welcome snack basket, the house was spotlessly clean and a great location. Not too far to walk into York itself and all it has to offer, and in a nice quiet area when you came away from the Xmas madness. Overall I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for our stay, we will return.

Slight confusion as to where the key was kept as I went into the wrong side.

A lovely little house in a great location near city walls.

Very comfortable and clean. Large comfortable bed. Good central heating, nice and warm. Excellent location, easy walking distance to city centre attractions and railway station. Host very amenable. Milk and biscuits provided for arrival.

No microwave. However, good oven.

It was so cosy and lovely. You really felt the love they put in this little house. Small Details like KitKats in the kitchen, water bottle With glasses in the bedroom and good selection of product for hair and body.

Excellent. Would happily return.

Perfect location.Free use if parking permit.Short walk to City centre. Owner let us use our parking permit for few extra hours to allow us to pop back to shops on our last morning. Very much appreciated.

Parking was very tight due to width of street..not the owner’s fault ..just a heads up for anyone with a large car. As mentioned by others a microwave would be appreciated.

Lovely little house!

Location was great, only a 10 minute walk into town centre. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The owner left milk in the fridge and there was tea coffee sugar and she'd also left some snacks. There was a big fan aswell which was very needed as it is so hot in york that weekend. House was lovely and clean. The TV had Netflix ect so it was nice to beable to chill in the evenings and watch some movies.

We had a issue with the cold tap. It wasn't working so when we needed a shower or bath it was only hot water running.

Very well located in beautiful York.

The absence of a sofa bed, which means the extra bedding provided was placed in the main bedroom. The two extra beds were very uncomfortable. I’d recommend replacing the sofa in the living room with a sofa bed to make this place comfortable for a family of 4.

Perfect place to stay for a visit to York.

Perfect location, parking permit included. Lovely property, very clean and tidy, host very helpful. really impressed with all the little touches to make your stay special, such as the Xmas decorations, chocolate reindeer, and goody basket!

A microwave would be the absolute icing on the cake, only because we did eat-in a fair bit whilst staying

Brilliant house right near the centre of York

Brilliant location, brilliant little house with everything you need and lovely friendly host. Just a short walk into York. House had loads of lovely little touches, we only stayed 2 nights but you could easily stay for a week, it was very comfortable with parking outside the property which was an added bonus.

We had a really lovely stay and would come to this property again.

Location was excellent, very central everything was convenient. Near to cafe's nd bars. Property was comfy and clean. We would certainly come again. York is a lovely City.

Easy check in even though we arrived early. Car parking avaliable but streets very narrow, and parking is both sides. House very clean and ideal size for a couple, nice touches of milk tea bags coffee biscuits on arriveal. Bed very comfy and bathroom a good size. Towels provided but would have preferred bath sheets, but no big issue. Stayed for 3 nights which was enough to see York. Would stay here again, ten minute walk into town, very quite where the house is located. Thank you Lisa, who was on hand should you need her.

House was in a great location. It was clean and well equipped. Little extras in the house was a nice touch.

Great property in an excellent location.

perfect location for the Barbican

The property was just right for one or two people. the only slight negative was the shower over the bath had a shower curtain rather than a screen.

Great location within the city walls, 10 min walk from the heart of the centre. Quiet street with parking included (which is great if you need to bring more stuff that easy to carry on free park&ride busses).

Cosy residence in a good location, highly recommended.

Location was good and being able to park by the property using the supplied parking permit was a real bonus. The welcome pack was lovely too.

A fab stay, central and lots of lovely touches from the owner to make your stay comfortable

Lisa was excellent at replying to messages promptly. She also gave us all the information needed and we felt confident with our stay there. She was really flexible on a later check out and letting us use the permit slightly longer. She decorated the house with lots of decorations. She left little ones around and the boys loved finding them all over the house. There were so many nice touches that really made it feel a home from home. She left little chocolates for the boys and us which were very much appreciated! A lovely location, central to walk to the city centre and explore. Really quiet residential area and felt very safe to walk around and be in

This was a wonderful place to stay in York for the weekend. The house was beautifully arranged, cozy, clean, and with an incredible location close to the train station, city walls, river, and historic center. We only wish we could have stayed a few more days!

The location is perfect, everything is very walkable from the location, and after a long day walking around, the bed is amazingly comfortable. The kitchen may be small, however has everything you need. Lisa is an amazing host, very easy to communicate with and goes that little bit extra by willing to take the time to offer up places to eat etc. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

Lovely property, in a great location and a brilliant host.

The location is amazing, within the city walls, just past the river, but in a very quiet street. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. all super clean and tidy. host was wonderful, even when we did have a small issue with one of the inflating mattresses, she handled it promptly and communicated very well. was as flexible as she could have been with check in and check out time. would definitely book again next time I'm in York.

I'd book again without hesitation, for a couple - it is perfect, We were 2 adults and 2 children and we moved the inflatable mattresses downstairs and placed them either side of the sofa. This worked very well, but required moving things a bit in the morning. Again - I'd book it again with no hesitation, just worth knowing.
