The house and property are beautiful and just as pictured. It is a very comfortable place with different spaces both inside and outside. The pool was a hit with the kids and also the adults during the very hot summer days. It is a quiet area with beautiful landscaping and scenery. Truly a place one can relax!
The location is also great and there are many options for things to do in the surrounding cities (Easton, St. Michaels, etc.).
Laura was great to work with and shared all relevant details before we checked in. The whole process was very smooth and we did not lack anything.
We would highly recommend and hope to return again!

Laura's house was absolutely perfect for our family! The house is well-appointed with everything you need and a great set up for spending time indoors and outdoors. The big kitchen is wonderful for cooking and the new covered deck is perfect for eating and catching up. Each of the bedrooms is great for adults with very comfortable beds and the upstairs "dorm" is great for kids. We spent many hours between the pool and the deck, enjoying the beautiful property. It is perfectly located between Easton and St. Michael's, so a quick trip to get and do anything! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!

A lovely home set on a beautiful, peaceful property. Large covered deck provided a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view or have lunch at the table. Screened in porch was perfect to dine outside in the evening.
The home had a variety of rooms to accomodate many different gatherings. Great pool and long warf leading to a floating dock with kayaks and room for a mid-size power dock to tie up. The creek provides both terrific views, interesting kayaking, and access to the Tred Avon River and Oxford.

This is a lovely large home, fully accessorized, with a beautiful yard, pool area and boat dock. The owner is very responsive. Overall, a wonderful rental!

What a beautiful tranquil setting. No need to hop in and out of our cars to go anywhere. (And that's a good thing because St. Michael's rolls up their sidewalks around 5pm:( A beautiful well loved cozy home. I love to cook so we had wonderful meals. No distractions, just relaxing and laughing our lazy days away.

This is a beautifully appointed, roomy, and comfortable home, nestled on a quiet creek off the Tred Avon River. It was a perfect location for our siblings get-together. The house is both elegant and comfortable and has all the space and amenities a big family would want for a week away. We spent most of our time relaxing in the huge kitchen/family room overlooking the gorgeous deck and beyond it, the back garden and creek. We had to take work calls but could easily work in privacy from different rooms, whether it was the formal living room, the study, or the porch. A big plus is that all the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms. There is a nice dock where my brother-in-law went fishing every morning. There are also kayaks which unfortunately we didn’t use as it was too hot. We had cocktails and grilled most evenings on the deck (which is as large as the house itself). The owners, Laura and Greg, couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. When we arrived, much to our distress (and to Laura’s), the pool was a lagoon green, due to a combination of recent heavy rains and mosquito sprays in the area that resulted in high phosphate content (this happened kind of overnight to other pools in the area as well). Laura was totally responsive and the pool people were there several times a day to treat the pool. From our side, we understood this was a case of “force majeure” and that it would take some time for the pool to be treated and get back to normal – luckily it didn’t take too long and we were able to use the pool after a couple of days. While we were waiting, Laura offered passes to the swimming pool at the yacht club but we were ok to wait for a while and spend the time antiquing and rediscovering our favorite sites in Easton and St. Michaels. Thank you, Laura and Greg, for being such wonderful hosts and letting us enjoy your beautiful house. We have rented many waterfront houses on the Eastern Shore through the years and it’s rare to find a perfect house that has the personality and charm (and amenities) of a lived-in house, and where guests can feel comfortable at the same time.

A Much Needed Respite
We had stayed at this property 4 years ago and enjoyed it very much. We returned to an even more lovely place. We wanted this time to be completely restful with no other plans than to relax and enjoy the pool which we certainly did. The landscaping around the entire property and pool was beautiful. The pool was pristine and completely warm. We enjoyed watching all the birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds. We brought our own food from home to reheat, but found all the kitchen items we needed. There was also an ample supply of spices/herbs. All necessary supplies (paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing liquids, soaps) were available. The master bedroom was very comfortable. There were also ample supplies of toiletries. It was very warm when we stayed, but the house was completely comfortable with the air conditioning system. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck furniture. It was just a short drive to St. Michael's which was also convenient. Laura was very responsive to all our questions and was flexible when we required some changes with booking dates. We highly recommend this property. Karen and Mike

Wonderful Vacation
The house is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The hosts left a great list of recommendations for food and activity options, and there is plenty to do on the property as well. Everyone loved the large pool. The kids also found a lot of other games and activities to keep them entertained. The deck and pool area are great for gathering, and the bedrooms are like a private retreat. Ideally located between Easton and St. Michaels, this property is perfect for a fun and relaxing family vacation.

Great House on an Inlet of Chesapeake Bay
This is a gorgeous, enormous house, very tastefully decorated and lots of space for the family to spread out. The pool was lovely and the grounds are well maintained. While its on the water, its not really a place to swim, but we took the provided kayaks out onto the inlet a couple of times. Very convenient to downtown Easton and St. Michaels, which are both charming towns, and about an hour's drive to Annapolis is the bridge cooperates.

Wonderful House and Location
This is a really beautiful property, inside and out. The house is beautifully furnished and was spotlessly clean. We visited with a group of 9 - four adults and five children. The bedroom layout was very comfortable and private. We enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, and relaxing on the beautiful porch and dock. You could easily spend your whole trip relaxing at the house, but if you choose to visit Easton or St. Michael's, the house is very conveniently located to both. Highly recommend this property!

Waterfront Paradise
Beautiful home, well appointed and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great location. Large pool and outdoor grounds. The dock was great for launching kayaks and our 20’ boat. Quick access to the Tred Avon (and Oxford and Easton by boat), ~30 minute ride to the Chesapeake. The host was an excellent communicator and was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous property in ideal location
As other reviewers noted, the house and property are even more stunning in person. We were blown away by its beauty and tasteful decor. The home is huge and we all fit comfortably with plenty of space to spread out. The amount of bathrooms is also a plus. The location truly is perfectly in between Easton and St Michael's and it's very easy to get to both. Laura and her husband were both incredibly responsive with any questions we had. Before we left we were talking about the next time we could come back.

Lovingly maintained home on a stunning property
We have only positive things to say about this vacation rental experience. The house is very large, and the care that has been put into maintaining it and keeping it spotlessly clean was very apparent. Every bedroom was large, bathrooms (each has its own plus an additional full bath in the office and half bath in the hall) were clean, beds were comfortable and sheets & towels were provided. The owners clearly have a lot of experience renting their home as everything we could want was readily available to us and communication was easy. The property is beautiful with views of the Tred Avon River that connects to the Chesapeake Bay. Close to everything on the Eastern Shore, but even if you spent a week and didn't leave the house, there is plenty to do. There's a great pool, kayaks, ping-pong, several sitting areas with fire pits and a big yard. Kitchen has everything needed to cook, and there were a number of different dining areas. There were comfortable places to relax both inside and out with formal living room, great room with kitchen/living/breakfast nook, screened in porch and massive deck. Easy drive from DC, and close to everything you want to do on the Eastern Shore. Great for a relaxing getaway!

A true gem!
We had a fabulous stay at Laura and Greg's home. The house and property are so beautiful and peaceful, and I'd recommend their place to families and friends who want to travel together while having their own space. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor common areas as well as private rooms and bathrooms. They're very conveniently located in between Easton and Saint Michaels that provide several dining, shopping, and grocery/convenience options. We will absolutely be back!

Wonderful Getaway!
This property has everything we needed to really feel like we were on vacation, even though we were only a little over an hour from our home in the DMV area. Beautiful, spacious well-equipped home and stunning property with plenty of space to spread out and relax. Greg and Laura are gracious hosts and were very responsive and left us to enjoy the very private property. Would definitely visit again!

Relaxing birthday getaway
We had a three night stay to celebrate my birthday and arrived to the sight of a beautifully decorated Eastern Shore holiday home. Inside there were plenty of poinsettias, a lighted Christmas tree and a fireplace ready to go with one lighted match. There were also delicious treats for snacking in the kitchen. We loved the spa treatment with robes in every bathroom. Overall a fabulous stay!

Beautiful Relaxing Week on the River
Everything about this rental is wonderful from beautiful views to the most comfortable beds ever! The house is huge and much nicer than the pictures suggest.
The kitchen is stocked with everything a chef would need. We cooked in every night and hung out at the gorgeous pool during the day. One of our favorite areas of the house was the big screened in porch.
The only negative (or plus) is that the cell service is pretty much non existent. One family member needed service to work remotely and had to go into Easton.
Thank you do much for sharing your home with our family!!

Space for everyone
We have rented many vacation homes over the past 15 years, and this is one of the best. It's well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and secluded. The layout worked very well for us (six adults) and would work equally well for families. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare large meals, with plenty of room for multiple cooks. The bedrooms all have ensuites, as do the office (1st floor) and bunk room (3rd floor) . (The master suite actually has two full baths.) The deck is enormous. We used the kayaks that were included and made frequent use of the pool. There are several places for people to gather or to get away from everyone for a while: family room, dining room, living room, office, bunk room, screened porch. deck, tiki bar, gazebo, picnic table. The only thing to be aware of is that the internet connection isn't great, so Netflix is out - download in advance or bring DVDs. Laura, the owner, is charming and quick to respond to questions or offer help. We recommend this property highly.

Hard to be better
Laura and Greg were great hosts across the board, and our family appreciated the opportunity to celebrate a family gathering in their little corner of the eastern shore. The pictures do not do justice to this lovely property. If you can, go!

Eastern Shore Perfection - Round 2
Our 2nd stay at this amazing property. Owners are warm, welcoming and very accommodating. Every detail at the property has been thought out. It feels much more like a home than a vacation rental so it’s very easy to settle in and get comfortable. For a family or a few couples looking to get away, it has it all...pool, dock, fishing, kayaking, etc. Plus, while you really feel away from it all, it’s just minutes from shopping, Easton and St. Michaels. Highly recommended.
