There was a huge car park, the room was spacious and clean. Finished late from the work, but the reception called me and left my key somewhere I can find it. Very helpful
4.5
Very clean rooms and bedding
Lovely fluffy towels.
Food good in evening apart from running out of a couple of things we ordered.
Breakfast was the best we had in a long time good quality ingredients good choice.
Nothing major bathroom could do with decorating especially the tiles In shower.
And the walls thin luckily the people in the other rooms were quiet apart from singing in the adjoining bathroom in the morning,

The breakfast was perfect. My wife has cereal and toast with, if possible, pancakes. I like a fried breakfast.
The location was ideal for a one night stay. We will definitely consider it again.
Although it said Dogs are welcome. We didn't like dogs while we were eating our dinner and breakfast. I have a dog fur allergy and spent the night not very well.
4.5
Lovely, location was great, clean, food great, staff were brilliant
Nothing, but, as we were child free, it would have been nice to have a later last orders, rather than 9.30 pm

Simple, spacious and spotlessly clean room. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Good food with a small but quality pub dinner menu and superb breakfast offering, with plenty available and an absolutely delicious cooked breakfast! Last but not least, it’s in a great location, only a short drive or bus ride into Southwold and plenty of good walks around too.
Small things that didn’t ruin our stay but worth mentioning. The room was too light at night due to exterior lights shining through all around the blind, needs a bigger window covering and change to trip lights outside instead of always on. The bed frame is uncomfortable, with panels at sides and foot of bed, especially for even a normal height person. Also our door was loosely fitted so it rattled all night but it was very windy when we stayed, so possibly isn’t like that all the time.

Breakfast excellent. Evening meal very good. Comfortable bed. Easy parking. Very friendly & helpful staff.
Better lighting in bedroom. The bedside lights were very good but had to sit on the bed to read etc.

Place was clean, food was excellent
Being tall the raised end of the bed and side rail made it a little less comfortable.

No complaints. Faultless. I would recommend to anyone stopping over or touring in Suffolk
4.5
The location was excellent; I wanted to be near the coast especially Southwold. The room and bed were very comfortable, the staff very friendly and the food of a good quality. In addition the choice of beers was very good.
The only small gripe was that the manager/bar man kept filling up my pint before I had even finished the last one; in hindsight I should have sent the last one back as I really had had enough.

The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. The room was warm and clean. The food was good. Plenty of places to park.
The stains on the room's carpet

Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable and a pleasure to return to after spending the day exploring the Suffolk Coast.
Staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a nice pub meal too. Breakfast was varied and served in a pleasant setting. Really happy with the room and our stay at The Five Bells Inn.

Breakfast was lovely.Staff were very nice and helpful.Room was very good.
The bed was incredibly low.Fortunately we are short people but ,looking for somewhere for us to stay as a family we would have to discount it as they would find it difficult to get off the bed being tall people.
4.5
Lovely location, very quiet and relaxing, nice that dog friendly. All staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room very nice. Great value for money
Emergency lighting in room quite bright, as were outside lights
5.0
A lovely, cosy pub with an open fire. Very clean, well equipped rooms. All staff were really friendly with suggestions of places to go and where to catch the bus for example.
The beer was well kept and the food magnificent!
The breakfast was excellent value. We will definitely be back!
There are two things about our room I would change; firstly the location of the tv made watching uncomfortable after a while, better opposite the end of the bed and secondly, the door to the room would be better with frosted glass panes or similar so that you don’t have to pull the blinds down during the day. Neither affected our enjoyment though.

Friendly service, the food, value, space, accommodation
Emergency lights in room at night. Really necessary?
5.0
Easy booking in process, the rooms are away from the pub so quiet.
The staff are super friendly and could not do enough t to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The room was very clean and had everything needed. the pub is very friendly and although we didn’t watch dinner there, the breakfast was lovely and plentiful. would highly recommend, and would return.
Nothing.

Very clean
Fantastic breakfast
2.5
Good accommodation, spacious room and comfortable.
Food was poor, dinner no more than basic pub grub but more expensive. Poor cooked breakfast- quality of ingredients just cheap and not freshly prepared.
Some staff clearly just not in the least interested in customer service.
5.0
good location. value for money and lovely people.
