Surly reception- had to give a lot of personal info and sign a form waivering VS damage and soiling. Room was tired - like knackered student accommodation. Bathroom tiny and a wet room so toilet drenched after a shower. Bathroom smelt fusty. Lots of banging on walls from other rooms throughout night. Someone tried to get in room. First time been scared in a hotel and I checked out early to go elsewhere.

Location was good. Easy to find. Parking nice and simple

Very tight, space wise. Bathroom was small - was a wet room. Once you had a shower the floor had puddles everywhere that didn’t drain. Receptionist in the morning was more interested in her TikTok than to acknowledge me when I spoke to her.

Room was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in and too hot. Nothing mentioned the railway track immediately outside with trains every 15 mins. No space to open our case properly , absolutely joke of a room

Staff are friendly and helpful, tasty/affordable restaurant, nice breakfast, clean, great location, felt safe as solo female. Recommend!

A bit of noise from the train station and airport but understandable, the location is why I booked, very convenient.

I liked the location but at night time its a struggle to figure it out. Room was very clean and comfortable, facilities were modern and great value compared to some other nearby competing hotels. Ideal for a stay close to the airport.

I think a message to guests prior to their stay with specific detail on how to reach the hotel to/from the airport prior to guests stay would be useful. I was at the airport at 1am alone and it was pretty intimidating trying to figure out where to go as its close to housing estates etc. I am sure it is lovely but as a female walking at that time of night it would have been great to have specifics prior to my stay as google maps can only assist so much re underpasses etc. its unclear. Or maybe the idea of an airport shuttle / taxi booking service.

There was a 24 hour bus route outside the hotel which was useful. Decor downstairs in the hotel was nice.

On arrival I asked for the receptionist to open the gate so I could park, they said they had no room. I had prebooked a parking space which they denied and said they had no record of. Luckily I had kept a copy of the email otherwise I'm not sure where I'd have parked! Overall staff were rude, didn't seem to care and interaction was few and far between, even to the point of saying good morning and getting ignored. Room was loud, faced the main road which was a 24 hour bus route so everytime one went past the room shook and woke us up. Bathroom was also a bit weird as was shower room, which is fine but using the shower meant everywhere in the room was soaked including the toilet so then had to spend time drying everywhere to be able to use the toilet or spend time in the bathroom I.e to do makeup. There are much better hotels out there for the same price in better locations.

Room has everything you need for a night before a flight out of London City Airport. Bathroom adequate and has shower gel included. It’s very convenient for the airport, literally a few minutes walk

Room is quite small but adequate. I wouldn’t stay for any other reason than using the airport as the location is out of the city centre and it’s a basic accommodation

the shower was teerrible. i look for 2 things in a hotel stay, a good bed and a good shower.. the bed was ok and the shower was shocking.

We were going to The Beams for a rave and the location was perfect, right around the corner. Super close to public transport too. Reception staff were great and the hotel itself is lovely.

Only that the room / bathroom was a little too small but it honestly didn't matter much for the trip we had.

Conveniently close to London City Airport. A very clean room in a very nice hotel with restaurant and bar. The staff was very friendly and I would recommend a stay here.

From what my ex-London police officer told me, the neighborhood is not a safe area, however, mine stay was just overnight and I had no need to venture out.
