The property was well supplied, well equiped. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are nice. The poool are is fun. Location great. Nearby alligator was a hoot.

The property was well maintained. We had trouble with the door code working, contacted the number and Mike was right over to fix. Very impressive.

We had a great time at the folly field properties! Very clean and organized, as well as great instruction and communication from our hosts. Definitely a place we will look up for future visits to the Island.

The house was very nice the pool is on the ground level back of the garage so it was very separated from the living area

Wonderful home equipped to handle large families. Our son was graduating from USMC bootcamp and the host was incredible about accommodating us and our circumstances. Home has so much space and we especially loved having the elevator access for my elderly parents. Pool was a great plus for our trip when we weren't on base. Bonus room has a projector screen and games. Kids room was perfect for all of the Littles that stayed with us. I absolutely loved that they had 2 style coffee makers.

This property was amazing! It was exactly as listed and included every amenity we could have possibly needed. The heated pool was one of our favorites. With a party of 10, it’s often hard to accommodate everyone, for the first time everyone had ample space! Great rental.

We really enjoyed our stay! This house had everything! The theater room was SO MUCH FUN. The pool was great! We rented a gulf cart and had a great time going around on it. Great property!

Great you have the amenities. For to have pool and media room. Both great for 7 kiddos between 4-9. Cousins and siblings had a great time using trundle and bunk beds. One wagon for the beach does need replacing, the wheels were disintegrating. Other equipment was fine. When there was concern about the pool’s water not being safe on day two, the mgt co immediately came over, cleaned and corrected chemical imbalances.

The property was beautiful and well appointed and maintained. The 4 levels are a bit cumbersome with kids but the elevator helped. We loved the pool and appreciated the short 10 minute walk to the beach. Our issue was that I specifically used this marketing : House 3100 sq. ft 6 bedrooms 16 bedsSleeps 25 5 bathrooms 5 full baths Family spaces KitchenLiving RoomDeck/Patio In selecting this property as we had 4 different family units with 4 small kids and had the potential of a 5th family unit. When we arrived there are only 4 full baths. They are counting the showerhead (yes we have pics) that is out by the pool as a full bath. When we contacted the property manager within the first few hours of checking in he continued to insist that it did indeed have 5 bathrooms. Notice the ad says 5 FULL bathrooms. He then stated that we would have to deal directly with VRBO as they set the listings. We have just started our vacation and he expected us to resolve this issue of false advertising. We own and operate a VRBO property and tried to explain to him that VRBO does not come out and count the number of rooms but that it is the owners responsibility to fill out the form for the listing. We then asked for the owners contact info as our property manager would run this kind of issue by us to see what we could offer if there is a problem (internet is out, hot but is broken for the week, refrigerator goes out etc.) with the property. I asked him 3 different times for the owner's info and he just ignored the request. We asked what he would do to make this right and he simply said he had talked with VRBO, got a case number and said we would have to deal with them Even though it was clearly a case of false advertising. He did say that we could move to a property across the street with 5 bathrooms on Tuesday, after our Saturday check in. We said that was not feasible as we had 4 families who would be all settled in by then. So BEWARE, it may be difficult to resolve an issue satisfactorily if a major problem arises AND we were not offered any discount or resolution.

We loved this house! It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach, which is a great beach for walking…and playing in the waves. They provided everything we needed- 2 high chairs, plenty of beach towels, and the kitchen is well stocked!

Great house for 8 children who all stayed upstairs. 3-D glasses and movies never worked. Only trash cans we could find until yesterday was the one in the kitchen. Needed light in pantry. Driveway was not large enough for larger cars and walk to the beach was exactly .13 miles from the house . It was So crowded on the street and there are still more lots and houses to be built. Can’t imagine how crowded it will be in the summer. Bring your own paper towels and toilet paper as their allotment is 1and it is VERY cheap. If you came to watch television you will be in good shape as there are at least one in every room. Great small heated pool.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The elevator made it very easy to get loaded and unloaded for or trip. Loved the pool. Entire place was very kid friendly. HUGE walk in shower in the master bedroom. Very close to the beach, tons of great restaurants nearby. Had a great time!

Warm water pool, theater, many beds, perfect open space for family meetings, just perfect to spend some time with family and the elevator for grandma was just what we needed

I had a quick business trip in SC and decided to bring my family along, and I am so glad we chose this rental property! It was the perfect amount of space for my large family! Ten kids and two adults. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out and run around. The pool was the icing on the cake! The owner has literally thought of everything from high chairs, bib, baby gates, crib, baby tub, literally everything (except baby locks for the cabinets). Lol, the pool came with floats, including a floaty for the baby. The starter kit of dish detergent, laundry, paper towels, etc., was the perfect amount for our short stay. We didn’t have to buy anything extra. The only complaint I have because no one or nothing is perfect is there was sand on one of the beds when we arrived, but the complimentary laundry detergent and huge washer dryer fixed that issue with a quick wash cycle! The pool is heated to the perfect temperature, it’s not entirely secluded, your neighbors are close by, but everyone was super friendly and primarily families! We heard a lot of Marco Polo! Everyone respected the quiet hours, which I appreciated since I was there for business purposes. The tv room was the cherry on top! The 3D movies entertained the kids during quiet hours. It is confusing if the movies cost to watch. There were prices listed next to them, I will update here if I am charged for them, but I think/hope that was the price if they come up missing. The kid's room was the cutest and stocked with toys for the kids! We literally felt like we were at home. The home is beautifully decorated, and if you have a toddler, these trinkets are shiny new toys to them, so prepare yourself to put things up high and out of the way upon arrival. 😉 Little hint there is a strobe light behind the tiki bar that needs to be plugged in at night for the pool party effect! We didn’t notice until the morning we were leaving. It looked really fun and gave us something to look forward to on our next visit. I was concerned at first about the cost, but after my stay and leaving with my sanity and little restful, this rental was priceless and will be our choice of stay for SC moving forward!

This house was perfect for our family get-together; it had everything we needed - even wagons to help us lug all our gear! The beach was half a mile away and the walk was easy, even the 81 year old had no trouble. The owners had excellent communication and were very responsive. Overall a wonderful experience.

Prompt response from management and lots of stuff for the beach, so you don’t have to bring a lot to enjoy yourself.

Rick has thought of everything for this property! It was extremely comfortable for our family, ranging in age from 5 to 72. It was very clean and well-maintained, any amenity you can think of was provided, and the heated pool was awesome. Thank you for a relaxing week!

My family needed a much deserved vacation and this house did not disappoint. It’s close to the beach and in a private community. Everything that is seen in the pictures truly represent this property. I’ll definitely stay at this property again next year.

Just finished a great two weeks at this property and we were sad to leave. Everything with the house was as we expected. Rick was super responsive and communicated well leading up to and during our stay. Pros: the house has literally everything you need for the beach, pool and kitchen. Very clean and comfortable for 15 people with some empty beds. Theater room was great for the kids. Roku/NFLX/Hulu on every TV. Short walk or drive to the beach. We usually had someone drive with young kids and beach gear. The beach itself was nice and not too crowded. Warm water, good for running on beach. Internet speed was fast and multiple people were able to comfortably work from the house. Cons: there really aren’t any negatives. I wish there was more within walking distance, like restaurants, ice cream, shops. Pool is a little small but good for young kids. I’ve maker is slow so buy ice. Could use foot rugs for door leading to garage. Minor stuff. Overall awesome experience and I would definitely book this house again!

Everything about this house was amazing. We stayed during our daughters birthday, Rick surprised her on arrival with balloons and a cute gift which totally made her day. The house was sparkling clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for the duration of our stay. We loved the decor and the overall feel of the house, it was spacious and modern while so homely. The movie room was a huge hit with the kids, the pool was great, the garage had everything you would possibly need for a trip to the beach. Can’t say enough about how great this place was, we will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you Rick and Misha from Management. 10 out of 10 on every front.

We definitely recommend this great vacation house! Especially nice is the clean walking path to the beach which we took advantage of almost every day. We cannot say enough good things about this great vacation place. What a great house for a large family like ours! Our kids and their friends also loved their room and had lots of fun in the heated pool in the middle of the winter. Truly a kid friendly house. It seems the owners have thought about every little detail ensuring the comfort of their guests in this convenient spacious house. We and our guests had fun enjoying the impressive home theater equipped with a wide selection of DVDs, made good use of all spacious 4 floors, the elevator, the intercom system, and the lovely balconies and back yard. We certainly plan to come back!

The house is as beautiful as it looks online. Every room is beautifully decorated with thoughtful added touches that make you feel relaxed. Our extended family, 16 people from age 1 - 73, (grandparents, daughters, spouses and grandkids) stayed comfortably in this house for a long holiday weekend get together. We had everything we needed and more to make our stay hassle free and fun. The kid’s room, pool and theatre were the highlights of the home and facilitated fun family time. I can’t say enough about these features and also the fire pit, perfect for southern winter evenings! Right away our expectations were exceeded, not only with all the small touches Rick has added to the home, but also his responsiveness and hospitality. A few hours before arriving I asked about games and puzzles wondering if I should pack some. Rick not only promptly answered me but he showed up to greet us with more brand new games and puzzles to make sure our stay was wonderful. We contacted him two other times for things (pool temp and help with streaming a nfl game) that other homeowners would have maybe blown off, but Rick again went out of his way to accommodate us! We had a great time enjoying Rick’s home with his expertise at what customers like -all of our expectations were exceeded.

Our family of 14 (8 adults and 6 kids) had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful HHI home. It’s an easy and safe 10 minute walk to the beach. The kids had fun playing ping pong, swimming, watching movies in the theater room, and riding bikes to the beach. The house is perfectly equipped with great linens, beach chairs/coolers/toys, any kitchen utensil you’d need. We would definitely like to book another trip with Rick at this lovely beach house!
