The breakfast was very good and so was our dinner. It was very beautiful overlooking the lake from our room.
The lodge is grand and beautiful with the huge structure of logs. If you want quiet this is the place to be. The staff are very helpful and kind.
The lodge is more for fishermen and sportmen.

It was the best place in Alaska we had a pleasure to sleep in. Very nice hotel, with the authentic soul, located in a picturesque lake shoreline. They are providing very tasty, complimentary breakfasts, you can also order other meals and drinks later. I promise you that a pint of beer on a very green grass in front of the lodge will taste like nowhere else. You can rent a free canoe and explore neighboring islands, water in the lake was warm so we enjoyed swimming too.

Love the lodge, the stuff was very nice and gave us a lake view room! Such a peaceful place with beautiful sunset! Plus delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Breakfast was awesome! Staff was friendly and helpful. Sourdough toast and pancakes were divine. Love the family atmosphere.
Shower was fun but challenging. Great use of space. Part of the charm of a log home.

Bed was bottomed out, didn't sleep well. Place was not sooo clean. No microwave.

Beautiful place, great lodge with super nice bar. Very quite and peaceful. Super ownership and staff. Highly recommend getting away and staying here, either for a day or a week.

No Frig in our room but they put our milk in their Frig for us.

relaxed atmosphere at a fantastic location! friendly competent staff, freshly prepared tasty food. Complimentary hot breakfast was a bonus !
The lodge is a little way off the highway but definitely worth the extra trek to get there. You will not be sorry you made the journey!
Breakfast doesn’t start till approximately 8am. Not an issue unless you are checking out early like we were.

Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful lakeside. Clean cabin.
We weren't aware that there wasn't a bathroom in our "room" when we booked it. The cabin leaked cold air because it had no sealant around the door. The hosts' dog used our parking space as a toilet which made it difficult to keep from tracking poop into the cabin.

Incredible remote Alaskan lodge experience with the comforts of a nice hotel. Clean comfortable rooms, awesome views and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good as was dinner. Friendly staff, all you could ask for!
The road in was pretty rough but that's just the way it is in Alaska especially if you want a remote location.

the view to the lake was great. and the people and breakfasts were the best.
Rooms were small with minimum comforts. no reading lights, no fridge, etc.
