We've stayed several times at this hotel whilst visiting Birmingham Uni, it's perfect. Location is ideal, good parking and car chargers (although full) and it's very reasonable for what is a pretty nice hotel. The food is good quality and very reasonably priced, too. Highly recommended.

Only issue is car chargers - non-EVs occupying spots. There are some on top floor of multistory but I had to pay parking too. Not a big deal!

Very well laid out. Room was pristine and had everything we needed in it. Nice view over the gardens from the window.

Parking. Very small car park with an overflow into the Uni multi story carpark next door. This wasn’t mentioned ahead of arrival and also there was a wedding at the hotel so all of the complimentary car parking was taken by wedding guests. We had to park on a higher floor and pay. This wasn’t an issue as such but would have been good to be prepared and also this might be an issue for mid week stays.

Ease of finding location and parking. Generous rooms, clean and well insulated from noise. All staff I encountered were polite and friendly. Plentiful choice at breakfast

Great quiet location, away from city centre but easy to get to. Fab breakfast and great value. Room very comfortable with bath and shower. Free parking a bonus!

Small criticism is that the door from the lift area into the bedroom corridor didn't close very quietly and our room was next to it.

Great hotel, friendly staff on arrival, at breakfast & checking out. Fabulous breakfast selection. Room clean & comfortable would highly recommend & stay again when in Birmingham.

Bed was very hard, and it looked like one side had partly collapsed

Bed was nice and comfortable. TV was good. Room are big aas I have upgraded. Breakfast was good. Nice quiet rooms. Cleanliness is good.

Modern, very clean and comfortable. Reception staff (Kerri) extremely helpful,courteous and welcoming.

Some of the rooms are located next to a rather noisy service yard.

Comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff team - particularly the night team who welcomed us and provided helpful information. Charging facilities for EV in car park were great.

Shame that spaces were at times taken up by vehicles not charging despite plenty of space in the main parking area.

Welcome was poor, no information given on parking, breakfast times or conversation just sign form here is room and carry on talking to other staff. My 7th visit first time I have been made to feel like I was in the way.

It’s was lonely and clean. The bed was amazing

Dogs made very welcome. They were not allowed in the restaurant but were allowed in the bar area so we were able to have breakfast and evening meal there. The bar food and drinks menu was reasonably priced and the food was tasty.

We like the location of this hotel. It has free parking and the bus stop To the city centre is outside the hotel so a really easy ride into the centre. It is clean and airy.

The menu options for food were not great and the food was average, it was not hot.

Loved the décor the beds were super comfy and rooms quiet through the night and free car parking 🅿️. It's easy to get a taxi from here. Easy to find.

Not much surrounding (restaurants bars etc). Have a drive about and couldn't find any. Gym is 18+ my son wasn't too impressed with that.

Free parking was a bonus plus a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to take you into the city

The dirty bedding

It was clean & finished to a high standard.

The room wasn’t very big & it was slightly over priced compared to other hotels of the same standard.

No good service and the bed is to small like kids bed

Everything I didn’t like I book 2 nights and I only stay on night because I don’t like the place and we didn’t get refund back and the owner he’s very behaving talking bad in the phone to me using the ff word I also have in my Facebook and website advising people don’t book this place

The ambiance and cleanliness

Very good location for visiting people at the university. Comfortable rooms; helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Reasonable menu at all other meal times.

It would have been good to have complimentary hot drinks available to residents at all times. (There was a small supply in the room, but otherwise hot drinks had to be purchased at the bar.)
