I had a memorable 60th birthday weekend in LA and staying at the Mid-Wilshire property made it all possible. From start to finish, Josh was very accommodating and very responsive to my messages. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Just a couple tips for future residents: parking is limited with only 3 spots and no street parking. The place is spacious, clean but aging - please don't expect a new home. It is walking distance from the Grove and short driving distance to everything you will need.

My family and my sisters family all stayed with plenty of room. There is one bedroom on first floor if stairs are an issue. Owner was easy to reach.
One tip: top lock turns right to open, bottom lock turns left to open.

Excellent stay for a family of large group
The property manager was very accessible and helpful. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. There were so many amenities and household items at the house- paper towel, toilet paper, dishwasher pods. Great sunroom. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. It was the perfect place for our large group of adults and small children to rest and play.

Excellent rental home for a large group
We were in town for our son's graduation from USC. This location was a reasonable distance from the airport and campus, and in a fun location for museums, not far from the beach, etc. It is seven bedrooms with six baths so that was the main reason we chose this property. Josh was an excellent owner/host. He was available for check in and made sure everything worked well. We had one issue with a shower in one bathroom and he had his maintenance person there within a couple of hours to fix it. There are large gathering spaces in the house that were nice for a large group. We would go back!

Roomy Property Close to Everything!
My entire family (all 11 of us) stayed at this property from Dec 22-25, 2019 and were thoroughly impressed with the location and ease of getting around. It is within walking distance to the tar pits which is where several bus tours stop, so if you sign onto a tour, like we did, it is very convenient to stroll over to the tour stop and hop on. Communication with the owner was a breeze and the house was very clean. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Los Angeles.

Great property but wouldn’t go again
Property is really good, great neighborhood, loved the kitchen, loved the artistic taste of the host, comfortable and cozy place, liked the beds they were comfortable, kids loved the place.
The downside I feel is the parking, it’s too tight, no outlet to charge your car as the garage is locked, you give the host prior notice to get access. My big issue was the water for shower as there are multiple bathrooms but I would say at a time only 3 might work well for shower. As we were large group it was really inconvenient. When mentioned this and other items we found in the house to the host, he said my expectations were “out of wack”!
Host offered me a credit after 1st day and asked to leave the place in a hour, we came for 3days and Had tight schedule we didn’t have time to relocate and find a new place we just stayed there.

The Mid-Wilshire experience
The size and location of this property is wonderful. It suited our needs perfectly. The only down side was parking. I had emailed the owner to ask about parking and was told we could park 3 cars in the driveway and there is a permit sticker for one car on the street. There was no street parking available. We had to find other parking for the fourth car. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

Excellent house for larger groups!
I rented this property to house my extended family during my daughter's wedding. We couldn't be more pleased with the ample space and bedrooms/bathrooms for our group of 14. The owner was always in communication and graciously allowed us to host a brunch for friends and family including that of my new son-in-law. We never felt crowded and it was a great experience for all! The house is also located within a short walking distance of many great museums, the La Brea Tar Pits, excellent restaurants (Eleven Diner was a fav!) and Ralph's grocery store along with many fine shops. Highly Recommended!

Uber Cool Stay!
We are a non profit and needed to host our international guests for the annual event April 10-15. Josh was super nice and helpful, letting me tour the house prior to booking and patiently answering all my questions.
The house itself is superb. The interiors are stunning with a modern and well equipped kitchen, large and comfortable couch, adjoining study with a mess hall type table our guests loved to work on. The rooms are spacious with ensuite bathrooms and tasteful decor and best of all, a lovely view. There's a sun room and a backyard patio, both of which our guests used for informal gatherings and quiet conversations.
We are extremely happy with the experience and hope to return next year. I highly recommend this home!

Great space for a group of 14
This home provided a nice place for my family and siblings to stay while in LA for my daughter’s wedding. Great kitchen, open floor plan, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. A couple of small issues but Josh was good to respond. Was a nice place to hang out as a party of 14 and still have some space for alone time if needed.

Could not have been better. Home was well laid out especially for large groups. Close to sight seeing, shopping, grocery stores and freeways.
Home had plenty of dishes, towels and other necessities for 14 people. Not always the case in rental properties.
Owner was responsive, hands on and easy to contact. Loved our Xmas in his home and will be back again.

Beautiful and Spacious
This property is all it claims to be and more. This home is breathtaking and fully supplied with all you will need. The beds and sofas are very comfortable, the open floor plan is a plus and the kitchen is more than enough. The kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms are totally stocked with dishes, pots, towels, paper supplies and cleaning supplies. Josh is a very gracious host, and available to assist in a great stay. I would definitely stay here again, we had a group of 13 and there was more than enough room. I totally wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the spacious well equipped backyard a little more, we were able to do some outside grilling the first day but then came the rain and the cold. The area is beautiful and many attractions are within walking distance. We were in LA for the funeral of my niece, her siblings, her children and their spouses traveled from Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Texas, So Carolina and Arizona, this was the perfect place for us to be together under one roof. This jewel located on the Miracle Mile was truly God sent. Thanks Josh for making this all possible.

Fabulous, large, sunny, great location
We had 2 families stay here for Thanksgiving. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and sitting areas for everyone. The house has lots of sunlight, a spacious 1st floor with a great open kitchen and dining area. It has all the amenities we needed such as a large screen TV with an awesome sound system. The location was great too - walking distance to LACMA, food trucks, Automotive Museum, farmers market, Starbucks, etc. Josh, the owner, greeted us when we got there to show us around and was always available if we needed him for anything. I highly recommend this house!!

Perfect Location - Lots of Space!
We recently stayed at this beautiful home for a business trip. It was a perfect location, 20min drive from downtown LA. It's a short walk or drive to many hot spots in town. There was soooo much space in this house, even a guest house out back. This place has a full bathroom for every room, which is a rare find and it really gives everyone privacy! The backyard patio is very nice and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place if you are coming in town with a larger group, and need to be in the LA area. Also If you like craft cocktails, check out Blue Collar bar, it's a short walk up the street near the farmers market. Josh is a great host, very accommodating and responds quickly to any request/question. I would love to stay here again next time we are in LA, many thanks!!
