Location close to the marina and shopping centre (next door). Excellent rooms and breakfast. Access to a beach club included - not crowded with excellent service. There was parking which was free!

Beautiful property, well maintained. The breakfast is amazing and great value for money.

The hotel felt new and clean and is located next to a number of restaurants to cater to all tastes. We had issues with our rented car (nothing to do with the hotel) and we genuinely couldn’t have resolved the situation without the help of the hotel staff (Gabriel in particular was great).

I wasn’t a massive fan of the pool/beach club set up and we felt that this should have been made clearer in the information about the hotel. There is a small pool at the hotel, but it’s really more for show and we had to travel to a nearby beach club to actually sunbathe. This was fine for us as we had a car but the one day we did get the shuttle it was very late picking us up.

Wish the pool area was bigger. Other than that, loved everything. The connection to the mall is extremely convenient

My recent stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Cancun, Mexico was nothing short of amazing. From the stunning ocean views to the luxurious facilities and amenities, this hotel truly exceeded all of my expectations. But what really made our stay memorable was the exceptional service we received from Edgar, the welcomer/receptionist, who was always available and incredibly kind throughout our entire stay. From the moment we arrived, Edgar greeted us with a warm smile and made sure that we had everything we needed to feel comfortable and welcome. He offered helpful recommendations for local activities and restaurants, and was always available to answer any questions we had. But what really stood out to us was Edgar's incredible assistance on our last day in Cancun. He helped us with all of our logistics, providing us with everything we needed to make sure our departure was smooth and stress-free. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and also making sure that we had a place to store our luggage before our flight. Overall, I cannot recommend the Renaissance Hotel in Cancun enough. The facilities are beautiful, the service is exceptional, and Edgar truly made our stay one that we will never forget. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality, Edgar - we truly appreciate everything you did for us!

Fabulous location on the marina. Great views. Room was big and modern. Hotel is attached to a local shopping centre, lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. We had spent 3 weeks on Oaxaca so this part of Mexico is a lot more expensive. We visited the beach club, which was lovely, nice comfy beds with lots of shade, towels provided. We went to visit the beach club again on the Monday and we were told it was closed on a Monday and there was no transport there. We said “ok, we will walk there anyway as we know where it is and it’s only a 20 minute or so walk. We arrived at the beach club only to find it was fully open, so no idea why they say it’s closed every Monday. We had our own towels with us so we spent the day there. The gym at the hotel was excellent, well equipped and had a great view over the marina. Breakfast was fantastic. We used the hotel bikes to explore the hotel zone, they were pedal backwards to stop bikes so took some getting used to, but they were great for getting about.

I think the hotel is expensive, but as I say, it’s probably typical of this area. No complaints though.

Really nice location close to a mall. Great views and superb gym. Beach club is 20m foot walk or shuttle (4m) from the hotel which is just awesome.

The staff particularly Edgar, Gilberto, Gustavo were excellent they were very helpful evertytime when we needed assistance. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The price was a little high and it would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room. There were a number of British people there who would appreciate a brew in the morning. Also it would be better to be warned that the beach club does fill up and u should pre book.
