Stay in this amazing tudor mansion, set on a hill over looking Fairbanks

Went to this property with a large family group over 10 people. Had excellent stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Houses fairly well stocked with spices, cinnamon, sugar, etc.. Lots of utensils. Double oven was helpful. Lots of storage is warm. We were able to see the Northern lights from the front door. No indoor parking. Lots of outdoor parking. Privacy of the area is excellent. Would recommend for large groups. Would definitely check the supplies in the house before going to the grocery store.

This mansion in the hills took us back in time to an era of rich luxury with custom detailed woodwork everywhere and 7 chandeliers. Every space was well-appointed and plenty of room for our party of 9. Large library bedroom downstairs perfect for less mobile guest. Master, 2 bedrooms and large kids’ room all up the gorgeous staircase with a set of butler’s stairs in the back to the kitchen and laundry areas. Every bed was comfortable and every bathroom had its own charm. The woodwork throughout was gorgeous. The kitchen and bar were both exquisite and the location very private (rent a car to get here). It was like being on a movie set where everything was just perfect and you can just imagine Sherlock Holmes, Bridgerton, or The Secret Garden being filmed there. Teens agreed it was Instagram-worthy. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond to our inquiries. Highly recommend if you’re in Fairbanks with a larger group!

The Manor is absolutely gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is so spacious and everyone had plenty of space. The snow was so beautiful all over the grounds. We are southerners and had never seen that much snow. Loved this house

This house is fantastic! Well stocked kitchen, including spices and plenty of dishes. Beds were comfy for everyone. We saw the Northern Lights over the house a few nights in a row. We bought sleds and went down the hill at the house. So fun for my 50th birthday!! I have not been to a VRBO that had complimentary beer and wine. I highly suggest this house and will probably book it again.

The Huffman Manor was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas Vacation! It is well maintained and stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. We had 11 people staying for a week and everyone had their own space but also has perfect spaces for everyone to hangout together. We were able to see the Northern Lights on multiple nights right from the end of the driveway!! A perfect place to stay for the trip of a lifetime!! Thank you!!

Traveling with family to see the northern lights… didn’t actually get to see them but the place made it worth the trip. Will likely be returning. I particularly liked the downstairs bedroom so I didn’t need to brave the stairs. I highly recommend!

This location was suitable for our group - the house has many rooms, so for large groups you can have your privacy if that is what you are looking for. For the one bedroom you must walk thru the bathroom and another bedroom to exit. The exterior could use some TLC with the landscaping and exterior maintenance. The house is fairly stocked with the items you will need. The pans have seen a better day - as everything will stick. The location is about 12 minutes from downtown, which worked very well for us and the excursions we planned.

Perfect place!
This house has it all! The best stocked home we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot of different places. Everyone enjoyed the home and the location. We even had a moose come in and pose for about an hour right out back - perfect for the southern CA visitors! The driveway hill was well traversed with daily sledding time (we brought a couple more sleds) and it was overall very comfortable and well thought-out. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great house for a gathering of friends
House is as advertised. We were four couples, longtime friends, who came together in Alaska for a little adventure and a lot of visiting. Kitchen was great for breakfast grazing and a couple family style dinners. The bar lounge room and the great room were great for visiting and one evening of pictionary.
The location was convenient to shopping, dining and adventures, but remote enough to be able to enjoy the woods and scenery. We also enjoyed a moose that hung out in the neighborhood and let us take photos!

Fabulous House!
As a group of 10 friends flying in from all around the US, this was the perfect house. It was large, spacious, well stocked, very clean and communication with the property manager was excellent! The location is great!

Great Home Base for Nordic Ski Racing at Birch Hill
Beautiful house for a group of 15 adults. Could walk to ski trails and ski to Birch Hill. Trax Outdoor center just down the road. Mocha Dan's close by too. Road to get to it was pretty icy, but our 2wd minivan made it up and down with only a few times having to get pushed.

Fantastic work retreat
Beautiful property - lots of space for people to stretch out and relax. We slept comfortably; we dined comfortably; we played games comfortably. We also enjoyed a few moose in the neighbourhood! Would definitely recommend this for a large group.
A couple of things that would be helpful to know is that there is a pretty good stock of spices, salt and pepper and oil in the cupboards - so make an assessment before you pick up you groceries.
Also - bring some gripper socks or slippers. The wood stairs can be a little slippery in your cushy wool socks.

Big enough to take a break from each other
Great property - large enough for 2 families to be able to get away from one another. Wonderful venue. Be warned that if you book a stay in late July/August there is no air-conditioning so the upstairs can get quite warm. After all - it's Fairbanks! Other than that it was exactly what we needed to relax between our sight-seeing trips.

Grandson’s graduation celebration
Our family of 12 came to witness our grandson graduating from UAF. This was a very wonderful home that was able to fit all 12 people extremely comfortably. Everything was great about this rental. If we are ever in Fairbanks again, we will for sure use the mansion.

My High Expectations Were Exceeded
We rented this property for a group of 13 high school seniors on a trip of a lifetime! We had amazing experiences in Denali, climbing, hiking, riding ATVs, and fishing, but our group kept talking about how amazing the house was! We loved the character and everything was even nicer than the pictures! So much room and the owners were extremely great to work with! I highly recommend this property!

What an amazing trip we had, and the property was all as advertised. Can easily sleep 21 with an amazing kitchen, kids room, amenities, location, and contact with the owner. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for a family....we only had 6, but would defitinely bring all the kids and grandkids back again....or a bunch of friends. Extremely clean, well maintained and furnished and delightful!! Nothing but exceptional things to say....you can believe the VRBO presentation!

Beautiful House
Rented this house for our adult group vacation in Fairbanks. Absolutely gorgeous property. House was very clean, and accommodated our large group perfectly. Location could not have been better, as we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anything in town. Had the opportunity to view the northern lights from the back yard perfectly!!
Only thing I wish we had known, was about the no shoes in the house. We purchased socks with grips, but not before one of our group had an incident on one of the staircases. She was ok in the end, and the grip socks were a life saver. Just wish we had known to have them from the beginning.
Overall we could not have asked for a more perfect location or gorgeous house. Would highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group coming to the Fairbanks area.

Beautiful but missing a few things
Overall, the house is just lovely and very spacious. The rooms just keep coming! It was clearly set up for a great event space. The owner was responsive from start to finish.
My disappointments were small, but somewhat noteworthy. We could find no remote for the TV and it seemed to be connected only to a DVD player and not any service. There were several windows with cracks in them. Not enough rooms had blackout curtains which was tough in August when you're used to dark for sleeping! There was no soap in the bathrooms for the showers.

Fantastic Home for your Entire Family
We enjoyed this beautiful home for the holidays! We were close to town, but far enough out to see the Northern Lights and have a peaceful stay. The house was so spacious, we were able to have a wonderful Christmas dinner with all of our in town family and a great game of hide and seek. Chris and Devin were always quick to respond to any question or need. It is a great home and the Huffmans are great hosts. We highly recommend this home for your next stay in Fairbanks!

Awesome house in Fairbanks!
We recently attended the wedding of our son in Fairbanks. This house added so much to a wonderful week. Our family and friends were all able to stay comfortably with privacy, while enjoying large common areas together, including a very private backyard. It is a great location, a beautiful large home, and will add to a wonderful Fairbanks experience.

High School Softball Team
very enjoyable house. Well located. Large generous kitchen and eating area with plenty of lounging space. Outdoors space is also generous with hiking (ski) trails close by. We were the first to use this facility and have made some minor suggestions to owners about increasing number of kitchen utensils and increasing hot water volume. They were very receptive to those comments. Two showers are through bedrooms, one is off hall so there was not an issue with washing access for players. We are planning to try to stay here again next year if coming to the state tournament. Owners very responsive to any questions.
