Deluxe Studio on Orient Bay
Nuestro espacioso estudio de 48m2 está ubicado en la residencia Mont Vernon, al pie de Orient Bay, el complejo cuenta con una gran piscina, jardines tropicales, lavandería, una pequeña tienda de comestibles con baguettes frescas, una pizzería y estacionamientos.
Nuestros estudios han sido completamente renovados este año 2021, tienen aire acondicionado, están bien equipados y finamente decorados y todos son idénticos.
La cocina está equipada con placa de inducción, microondas, frigorífico-congelador, lavadora, cafetera, tostadora, hervidor y todos los utensilios de cocina para hacer tus platos favoritos.
El baño tiene una gran cabina de ducha, inodoro y lavabo con artículos de tocador (gel de ducha, jabón y champú) y secador de pelo y proporcionamos toallas pequeñas y grandes y toallas de playa.
Cada estudio cuenta con una gran cama king size (2m x 2m) y un sofá convertible para 1 o 2 personas adicionales, una sala de estar con TV de pantalla plana, canales satelitales franceses y americanos, una persiana eléctrica, Wifi Privado con muy buena velocidad ( gratis), adaptador 110 / 220V, puertos USB para cargar teléfonos y ordenadores, caja fuerte, tabla de planchar y plancha.
El balcón o patio tiene una mesa y sillas, lo que lo convierte en el lugar perfecto para saborear sus comidas mientras disfruta de una hermosa vista del océano.

The unit was well maintained, on the beach and access to a pool. The pizza restaurant was delicious. The grocery shop was open all day. The beach area was quiet or you could walk down the beach, rent chairs, an umbrella and access beach bars. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Overall, a great vacation.

This studio was a perfect place to stay in paradise! Awesome location within a great neighborhood with a little market and pizza place. Pool was great and the walk to the chairs and umbrellas was only 5-10 minutes. The studio was clean and as described online. Can't wait to stay here again!

I believe this is my 5th stay in this studio over the years, and the studio, owners, location, and amenities are simply wonderful!! Seriously, when I plan to come back to St M, I literally never stress because I feel so comfortable staying in my ‘home away from home’ on Mont Vernon on Orient Bay. So cozy, yet open and spacious at the same time! Clean, comfy bed, beautiful views, lovely balcony, easy to use kitchen and bathroom. I spend almost all my time on Orient Bat, very easy to walk from the studio down the beach to great food, massage at KKO, and down to the other end of the bay. The local pizza is amazing, very happy to have the new store on property and the pool reopened!! Added plus, so close to the new Super U as well… Don’t hesitate, book now!! (Oh, and do not skip eating out at Bistrot Caribbe in Grand Case!! Best lobster I’ve had in my entire life!)

Short walk on the beach to restaurants and beach bars . Just beware you’ll be taking your luggage down some steps to the unit but once you get there it’s all good ! Also was surprised there was a nice pool I didn’t expect that according to the description

We recently stayed at the studio (after having a unit by another lister, not at this location, not live up to its advertising). We contacted Amaury at the last minute and he was able to accommodate our stay and allowed us an early check-in. The studio is in a great location, just steps from the beach with a great view of the water and sounds of the surf. The unit was clean, comfortable and quiet. We will definitely stay at this location again when we return to the Island.

Property has 24 hour surveillance, quiet area, close to beach n could hear calming surf, moon lit beachscape...nice foot paths to walk...no direct parking to unit so was a,little walk...internet was good n room came with Netflix n Amazon prime which I really enjoyed...room came fully prepared with cooking utensils n pots allowing to cook...place felt like home away from home

The property was exactly as advertised - no surprises. The overall experience was great and the inside of the studio was very good. In visiting St Martins you have to understand that there is still good deal of re-construction going on and this complex is no different, with many buildings still in a state of repair. Parking is very difficult and it would be great is the lower parking lot was levelled off. You really do need a car to stay here so the parking needs to improve. That is not a slight on the owners of this studio - they did mention parking was tough.
It is such a good location and the views are spectacular! I would not hesitate to visit again.

We stayed 02/14 - 02/18 and enjoyed a wonderful experience at Mount Venon. Everything in control of the owners was fantastic and we highly recommend their restaurant Bristrot Craibes, Grand Case......!

Amaury and Thibault were excellent hosts. Our studio was clean, safe, and steps from the beach. The location is nestled between Orient Bay Village and Grand Case, so the options for fine dining were numerous, and close by. I highly recommend the brothers restaurant...it is top notch!

We wanted a quick get away to St Martin.
Amaury was a fantastic host. The Studio was very clean, bed was comfortable and everything you would need from beach towels to beach chairs were there for you to use. They left water, soda and a few snacks to get us started. The balcony was amazing, we sat there in the morning with our coffee and mimosa and watched the sun rise over the water. After a busy day sitting on the beach we watched the moon on the water. The studio is within a beach walk to Bikini Beach which we did twice. We also took a ride to Pinel Island which I highly recommend.
There is a little pizza restaurant located on the property. The pizza was really good and they serve a fantastic salad. We really enjoyed our dinner there.
As others have said evidence of the hurricane is noticeable on the property. The pool is not useable. But we were advised of this before we books, which I thank Amaury and Thibault for letting us know before hand. BUT there is work on the entire complex daily and the renovations DID NOT effect our stay in the slightest.
We ate dinner one evening at Amaury and Thibault restaurant Bistrot Caraibes in Grand Case. Dinner was amazing and probably in our top 5 meals we have ever had.
I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Amaury and Thibault for offering your studio for such a memorable vacation for us!!

I absolutely fell in love with this unit! It has a beautiful over the ocean! The sun rises by the unit, but not in a way that shines directly into the unit. It was very peaceful. It is perfect for people who want to unwind and disconnect. There are a few things that I did not realize upon booking, so I just want you to be aware and not taken off-guard. The evidence of Irma is heavily present with the exterior of the buildings. Don't let that deter you. The unit itself has been redone and is very comfortable. Mont Vernon is built into the mountains so it is a literal hike everywhere. Pack light. I didn't and dragging my luggage up a mountain was no fun. The flip side of that is, there are AWESOME fitness opportunities. Mont Vernon is a little away from everything and the parking lot needs work BUT I absolutely recommend staying here! Also, most of the people speak French. I did not encounter any residents that spoke English. For me, that was fine! Everyone is very friendly and it gave me a chance to brush up on the few French phrases I know. Amaury and Thibault are VERY responsive. I could reach either of them anytime, day or night. They are great! You won't regret your decision staying here!

My husband and I had a chance to get away for 5 days in St. Martin. He has been at least 7 times but I had never been. Bay Orient is his favorite place on earth! We really did not give a lot of thought to the remaining devastation that Hurricane Irma caused when we book our reservation but every time we walked through the condo complex we were truly humbled to see how the people who live in Mount Vernon were impacted. With that being said, the studio condo is absolutely adorable! The view from the balcony is beyond spectacular and will forever be in my mind. Amaury and Thibault were wonderful hosts and ensured we had everything we needed when we picked up the key. The minute we saw their restaurant Bistro Caribes, we made a reservation for dinner. The meal was truly one of the top 10 meals I have ever had!
We kayaked to Pinel Island one day, hung out under an umbrella at Kontiki beach, took long beach walks that included breakfast and croissants, shopped in Phillipsburg and spent hours just hanging out on the patio listening to the waves and looking at the ocean. By far, we enjoyed our quiet time here vs. spending 5x as much to stay in a fancy pants resort. I now understand why my hubby loves it here and we can't wait to return!

Amaury and Thibault helped make our stay in St. Martin so special and memorable. Our condo at Mont Vernon served as the perfect location for quick beach access and walkable dining options. Our hosts did everything to make us feel welcome, from helping us carry our luggage to the room to recommending multiple attractions to see during our trip. I recommend staying at Mont Vernon 10/10.

Amaury and Thibault are exceptional managers; friendly, attentive and responsive. I recommend their studios to friends and family. My husband and I spent two weeks at Studio Deluxe and enjoyed every minute. Amaury and Thibault were very responsive and easy to communicate with regarding our reservation. The view from Aruba building studio #3211 was amazing each day. The studio was comfortable and staying at Mont Vernon placed us within 10 minutes of many excellent restaurants but kept us at the quiet end of the beach which was very restful. Be sure to visit their restaurant in Grand Case, Bistrot Caraibes. Amazing food! Would definitely return again.

We stayed in Unit 2301 for three weeks. The apartment was very clean and had an great view. We have stayed in many units in Mont Vernon even in this building so knew what the view would be like, the pool here ( which is great), the beach and the bad road coming into the complex. FYI- parking at this complex is becoming more of an issue- realize Amaury can't do anything about this but not fun to get a sticker on your rental car window that is VERY difficult to get off- IF you park in the wrong place by chance!
Positives: , Amaury was very easy to work with, bed was comfortable ( we like a hard bed) and loved having cleaners come in once a week to clean and change sheets. We liked having CNN, NBC and some Showtime and HBO, however, these channels sometimes showed a sign over the picture indicating a problem with the bill. We contacted Amaury via email ( phone calls VERY expensive on this island) and he did contact the person who handles this and it was fixed the first time. Happened again and as it was close to the time of our departure, we let it go.
Nice to have the discount at The Bistrot Caraibe- an excellent restaurant!!
Negatives: Apartment needs some updating.... compared to other units we have stayed in, even on this same floor- furniture old, some holes in the walls, balcony railing needs painting, floor had some cracks and would be nice to eliminate the tiles you have to climb over to go out to the balcony ( other units have taken this out and put in sliders that open all the way). Could have supplied paper towel roll, extra toilet paper roll, larger dishwashing detergent, salt and pepper maybe.

Amaury & Thibault’s place at Mont Vernon was exceptional. Nicely appointed and tastefully decorated studio had the perfect mix everything to make you feel like you were comfortably at home…yet on vacation in paradise. The community is located at the far end of Orient Beach, in a somewhat residential community, so it feels authentic, peaceful, and far away from all the cheesy tourists & cruise ship passengers (no offense to either). I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful our trip & overall experience was…so let’s just leave it with this… we were there in May and we are already planning our trip back there in October/November. We are planning to return to Amaury & Thibault’s place (hoping!), while we potentially look for a house to buy on the island.
Tips:
You MUST…
• Rent a Jeep, NOT a car: 1) because the roads can be a little rough & rocky, and 2) most importantly, it’s really fun driving around the island in a Jeep!
• Go to Bistrot Caraibes. Seriously the best meal I have ever had. Ever. Anywhere.
• Visit Anse Marcel – gorgeous private / secluded beach with a great little restaurant on the waterfront
• Go to local markets and purchase fresh, made-on-the-spot bread (often fresh out of the oven), remarkable cheese, and delicious wine & champage…incredibly inexpensive

I have to say that this property is exactly what we were looking for! A beautiful studio, super clean, well furnished, comfortable bed, gorgeous ocean view and steps to the beach. We were four friends on a girls vacation and still fit no problem! Great price and very nice area. Amaury and Thibault are very organized and were very helpful . Instructions for everything; stove, washer etc all provided and easy to follow, nice balcony with table and four chairs. We also rented beach chairs and parasols for the beach and they were brand new! We dined at their restaurant the last night of our vacation which was a great way to end our trip! Delicious food and great hosts! I would highly recommend this property and their restaurant Bistro Caraibes. Hope to get back there soon!

We stayed at one of Amaury and Thibault's studios. It was a third floor unit with direct views of the ocean. There isn't any building in front of this unit and you aren't looking over a roof for the ocean views. This was more then enough room for my wife and I. It had a comfortable king bed, nice bath and the kitchen had everything we needed. Amaury and Thibault are very involved with their units and were very responsive to all our needs. We met Amaury at their restaurant and picked up the keys. That was nice because it gave us a chance to see Grand Case. It also is only about 5 - 7 mins away. Amaury will give you good directions to get you to the unit and show you on a map where to park. The beach at the unit is probably our favorite. It is just a nice beach without tons of chairs and umbrellas. The unit also gives you access to a nice pool area. One piece of advice would be that this may be a little difficult for someone with physical limitations. The walk to and from the unit involves some hills and you do those when you park and go to the unit. Of course these hills are why you have the beautiful views you have of Orient Beach. Other then what I just mentioned for those with limitations, I would easily give my recommendation for this unit. My wife and I are already talking about a return trip.

My partner and I spent a week here. The brothers were always helpful, quick to respond and have done an amazing job with their units. The descriptions and pics are accurate and you can't beat the price and location. The unit is spacious (almost at a fault) and has all the comforts of home. With that in mind, it could use some newer towels, pillows and furnishings. While it was wonderful, we did find ourselves in need of extra pillows to prop up. The sofa and side chair aren't comfortable. The cushions were flat and hard. The unit could use another comfy chair or small table with 2 chairs. Overall, a wonderful place. Not ideal for more than a week. The grounds of Mt. Vernon are nice but the parking is ridiculous. If we were lucky to get a parking spot, we found ourselves not wanting to leave the compound in order to secure our spot. It's a very steep walkway for luggage, groceries, etc. We give it a solid B but with a little scrubbing, fresh paint and new linens, pillows, etc it would come in at an A. Thanks for an incredible week at our favorite beach!

We had a great vacation on St. Martin thanks to Armaury and Thibault! The view was super and Orient Bay was just few steps away. The kitchen had everything we needed and for times when we didn't want to cook Grand Case was just a few miles away and has a great selections of restaurants. One of them "Bistrot Caraïbes" belongs to Armaury and Thibault and was great too.

We want to highly recommend renting a condo from Armaury and Thibault. The one we rented has a super view of the rocky bluffs and beautiful shoreline that sit below the Mt. Vernon complex. We loved that they now have keys to the condo in a digital lockbox by the front door of the condos and they gave us the password to the lockbox via email without us having to meet in person at whatever time we arrived there. They wanted to come over the next day to handle the paperwork but we told them we would come by their restaurant the next day to take care of it when we were shopping and they agreed. It was super convenient. The condo we rented was perfect for us and exactly as advertised. We didn't cook on this trip but instead used the microwave to heat leftovers from meals we ate in town. The condo was quiet, romantic, and ideal for the two of us.

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation in a lovely condo nestled in Mt. Vernon. The owners Amaury & Thibault were very warm and when we had any questions, they answered them immediately. The whole condo was in great shape and the view amazing overlooking Orient Beach. Easy walk to the pool which was close to the beach. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. We also ate at their restaurant which was great. We'll be back!!!
