Great space lots of room! Host always available

This rental has so much room: sitting areas, beds and bathrooms. Beds were very comfy. On a quaint fishing cove. Sunrises are epic! Tons of deck space and outdoor seating. Location is perfect for exploring Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Halifax. Kelly is wonderful - very helpful and easy to reach if needed! FYI - only 1 channel available on one of the TVs. If you don’t watch TV in the evenings, then it won’t be a bother. We missed having a TV for our evenings once the sun set. Keep this place in mind if you have a group that needs lodging in this beautiful area!

Enjoyed our stay at this clean, well supplied, and central cottage. Comfortably accommodated all 14 of us. A Peaceful and serene location to end each day. Thanks Kelly for your lobster cooking expertise.

My husband, adult children and their spouses and my 4 grandchildren loved this home! It is bright and spacious with a wonderful large deck and dock. The host is close and very helpful and gracious. We enjoyed the quiet community and had fun on the water. We will certainly be back again!

Host lived next door so he was available to answer any questions and assist in any way he could. He has a lobster pot on deck and cooked our dinner! We appreciated that. Lovely location.

Kelly's place was awesome. It had all the room we needed for our family. Plenty of space to hang out, nice sunroom and outdoor furnishing on the deck. Kitchen is well equipped plus the BBQ on the deck. The kids fished off the dock. We kayaked in the cove. Beaches not far away. Kelly was always available to help when needed.

Our family had an amazing vacation, we had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Included in our stay were adventures to Halifax, Peggy’s cove, Bayswater beach, the East River trail and Wolfville. Our host was amazing!

Viiew was spectacular. Beautiful!! The home was very clean and the owner, Kelly went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this property.

The view is spectacular and the house is wonderful. Well laid out house that accommodated our group of 7 ladies. Comfortable beds, lots of room to spread out and very well equipped. We had lots of fun and loved the setting and beautiful view.

We had a wonderful relaxing time sitting on the amazing large deck overlooking the water. The weather was beautiful for May. The lobster boats bringing in their traps was an added bonus and provided our entertainment.

We were extended family, 6 adults, 2 teens and , a 5 and a 3 year old... Worked like a charm! Very clean and beautiful view. Exciting to watch the fishing boats leave in the morning (but you have to be up very early!) Beuatiful decks. Well equipped kitchens lots of room and close enough to other things (a bit far to a cofffee shop!) although everything seems to be a drive away (but kind of "off season") Host is very solicitous and available... HIghly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Kelly's Northwest Cove house. It was perfect for our three families. Lots of room for everyone. Highly recommend!

There are six of us girlfriends in our hiking group and it’s not easy to find comfortable accommodation for all of us on our hiking route. This house is amazing. 6 bedrooms with comfy beds and cosy bedding, 3 bathrooms, and two extremely well equipped kitchens. If that’s not enough, there is a view to die for!

The house was exactly as advertised. Lots of room and amenities. We did have some misty weather and the large sunroom was great to be in as we had a fantastic view of the Cove. What a great place for a large family for any event or occasion.

Great place to stay for a fall thanksgiving with family. Beautiful views. Excellent accommodations and supplies for cooking.. Kelly is a great host.

Exceeded expectations.

This is a wonderful place for our family of all ages. Our 50th anniversary celebration was a great fit. Vacation time for family from Ontario and B.C. Kelly our host was kind, considerate, friendly and always available when needed. Thank you.

Had a group of guys stay here and really enjoyed ourselves. The view is amazing and will be missed. Kelly is great and very easy to get ahold of if needed. We ran out of propane and Kelly had another tank waiting for us. Thanks a tonne Kelly!

What a beautiful spot to stay. Thank you Kelly for for hospitality and lovely baked bread. This place is clean , comfortable and all the amenities you would need . Fire pit a plus. Close to everything and nice beaches. Covered eating area lovely with the windows that are screened and easy to open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with kids and grandkids as we celebrated our upcoming 30th wedding anniversary. It was an amazing view from the cottage which is situated at the head of the cove and looks out into St. Margaret's Bay! The host was exceptionally helpful and we would love to return someday! We'll definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

It was a great place to stay with a group or large family. We were a group of ten including 4 children between 4 & 8. They had so much fun running around in this huge house. We liked having the Granny sweet attached as it gave us 2 kitchens and that wonderful screen room for games. We were only 45 mins from most places we wanted to see and only 15 mins from Hubbards for groceries, booze and drugstore. Feast of local fish everyday. Enjoyed our stay, thanks so much Kelly. I’d go back again but we are thinking of going to PEI next time. The only reason I gave this spot a 4 is I feel the beds in the granny suite were much to hard. For the hole week my son and daughter-in-law ended up taking turns sleeping on sofa.

Property was beyond our expectations

We had a small family reunion for 7 adults and the house was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone. Home was clean and tidy. The view from the deck was amazing. We spent a lot of time out there or in the Sun room off the kitchen when we were gone visiting the many small towns nearby. Found some yummy places to eat as well. My sister and niece found a couple hiking trails nearby the property. There were some fishing poles available and I caught a large haddock. There was fun for all of us. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

We loved our time here! Our host was amazing - he spent time to help us find exceptional visits and food throughout our week! The location was MAGNIFICENT!!! We loved being in the village during the end of lobster season!! Such a great week! Thank you!!

This was a perfect location for a family gathering; the views of the cove can’t be beat… You’re right on top of it! The bedrooms are nice and quiet and separated from the living spaces. Just great.

Our group of 11 ladies had a fabulous girls getaway weekend! We enjoyed the amazing scenery, spacious & clean home and the hospitality of Kelly as well. Thanks for a fantastic stay, we'll be back!

This house was exactly what we needed. With 13 of us, it can be hard to find a rental with enough space but this was the perfect house. I spoke with Kelly before making my reservation to make sure it would be okay for us to have a small birthday celebration while we were there and he seemed very happy and flexible. We all spent the weekend together and left feeling happy and refreshed. If you get a chance to stay here, I think you should absolutely take it!

Kelly's property was an ideal location for our group of 12. We also needed one level living to accommodate my mothers mobility. That, with the view and location, nearby walk on the beach and a spa day, made for a perfect weekend. The bonus was having a gracious host, Kelly, ready for any of our requests. His first attempt at sourdough bread was a lovely and unexpected additon to our meal. Five stars!
