My wife and I decided to visit Hilton Head for a quiet vacation week. We could not have found a better space. The unit was very nicely appointed and the view was magnificent. Everything was as described in the listing. The owner was excellent with communications and responding to questions. Plan to visit again.

We were looking for a place to stay with direct views of the water. This fit the bill perfectly. The condo appears to be somewhat newly renovated. There are four beach chairs available in the entry closet. The beds are pretty comfortable, the wifi is great, and the view can't be beat! The only minor issue that has been mentioned in some other reviews is the sun streaming in the windows in the morning is bright. Blackout curtains or shades would be nice. The wife ended up draping an extra blanket over the shades to help keep it out for the kids. Getting in and out of the community is easy, just remember to stop at office at the entry to Palmetto Dunes and not the security stop further into the community to pick up your parking pass. The family pool is nice and has wide stairs and a splash area for littles. There are bathrooms nearby. The beach is fabulous. Tidepools formed every afternoon that provided lots of adventures. It is close to Coligny without being in the heart of traffic. We would definitely stay here again if we head back to HHI. The hosts were wonderful and provide a lot of helpful information regarding the condo and the area.

This condo is a great place to stay. This was the third time we have rented it. Over the years, we have rented many different houses, hotels and condos on Hilton Head. Palmetto Dunes and this condo are our favorites!

If you are used to staying in condos and don't mind noise and a crowded beach, then this condo is highly recommended.
This particular condo is exactly as listed: immaculately clean, comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. The owner is easily reachable and responds almost immediately. The main issue we had was that the condo overlooks the family pool so it was loud from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. I like to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean just as much as being on the beach and it was hard to hear the ocean waves over the pool noise. We usually stay in private homes directly on the beach that are quiet and less crowded so this was a let down for us.
We have stayed in Hilton Head many times, but this is our first stay in Palmetto Dunes. Previously we have stayed in Sea Pines and we found Palmetto Dunes to be a step below Sea Pines. There aren't as many bike paths and things to bike to. Also, the beach was overly crowded compared to Sea Pines. It took away from the relaxation we had previously experienced and were looking forward to.
The condo itself is 5 stars, and for us the area is maybe a 3 or 4.

Janice is a great host. Our family came to HHI for our anniversary and vow renewal and this rental was amazing. Janice even sent us an anniversary gift which was so sweet. Condo is exactly as the photos. It’s very clean with a well stocked kitchen. You will have everything you need to make family meals. The complex family pool is amazing. We loved the beach but preferred the pool and chairs. The beds were comfy and all 5 of us slept great. The only issue we had was the washer did not work but Janice was very responsive and tried to get it fixed and even offered her own personal home to wash our clothes in. Lucky for us we had family staying in Palmetto Dunes too so we just washed towels there. Great owner, great complex, best vacation ever. We would definitely stay here again.

Upon entering, our first reaction was, “What a view!” The ocean is front and center through the large windows in the living room and both bedrooms. This is a beautiful and very comfortable condo. The rooms are large. The furnishings and linens are quality. Everything is well done. It is in an excellent location in the middle of the island, within walking distance of the general store and a great restaurant, Alexander’s. Be sure to rent some e-bikes from Avacado’s—so fun riding on the beach! A great stay!

My mom, sister and I were able to enjoy this lovely condo during the week of Thanksgiving. Jan had everything that we needed - turkey roaster, baster, crock pot and a wine cooler. The condo was clean when we arrived and everything in the kitchen was so organized. The location is amazing - you can't much closer to the ocean without actually being in it! We were lucky to watch some amazing sunrises! We look forward to our next stay at this beautiful condo!

Perfect location. Watched the sun rise every morning. Unit was clean and as described. Grocery store was only a few minutes away. Jan was so nice and easy to deal with. She always answered my calls or texts promptly.

Coffee pot takes #4 cone shaped filters. There is a hair dryer and a hand mirror in the bathroom.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and the kitchen had everything you could ever need. The owners were extremely responsive and provided us with a ton of info prior to our trip - including directions, packing recommendations, and things to do around the island. We absolutely loved everything about this condo. When we arrived and opened the door, the condo smelled so fresh and clean! Everything was immaculate and top notch quality. The kitchen is every chef's dream and the counter tops are beautiful. All of us commented each day how comfortable the beds are. Easy access to the beach and pool. We came for a pickleball Clinic so needless to say the condo is in an ideal location. A huge benefit we realized upon arrival is the top notch security. You literally couldn't get in or out of the area without a parking pass. They issue them upon arrival at a drive-through office location. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is some sort of blackout roll down shades at least the bedroom windows. There are sunshades of some type but the glare in the bedroom was pretty overwhelming. Something could easily be done to circumvent that. I'm an early riser but when I'm relaxing in bed I don't enjoy the sun glaring through the window. The condo itself was appointed beautifully and decorated quite nicely.

Ocean views from living room and both bedrooms. Patio deck off each bedroom makes listening to the ocean waves crashing on the sand enjoyable from sunrise to sunset. We had a perfect week despite the hurricane threats. Jan and Mike are great hosts who take care and pride in their property.

My love and I attended my nephew's wedding at the Westin Resort, then stayed and extra 5 days for a much needed vacation! The unit was outstanding in both cleanliness and location (cannot beat a penthouse, on the ocean, with the sunrise perfectly aligned with the master bedroom balcony) and the owner Jan was fantastic!!! We had a small issue with a toaster and within an hour she had brought over a replacement!! Her communications leading up to our vacation was detailed and timely, and she made our check in seamless!!! We will definitely rent from them again, and I would highly recommend this property!!!

This property at Hilton Head may be the nicest condo I have ever had the pleasure to rent and I've had some very nice ones. This unit was by far the cleanest and most well appointed of any other. The view is incredible. You get a complete, unobstructed view of the ocean from the top floor with also a view to the pool. This condo is also in a very unique, beautiful and secure location, possibly the best location on the island. Steps away from the beach or pool. The owners are very service friendly and communication was never lacking. They even mailed a handmade document package with all details to their property as well as well as email. I'd like to warn others away so that availability would always be open for a return!!! I would rent here again without question and highly recommend this property.

Absolute paradise!
The penthouse is exactly as pictured. A very comfortable home away from home. It was very lovely. Dishware, pots, kitchen tools, etc. was listed on cupboards and in drawers to keep items straightened out. We could have used a couple grilling tools as we did take advantage of the grills but only had rubber tools. Complete instructions for tv which can often be a little tricky.
