I enjoyed my stay in this simple cottage. Simple was what I was looking for in my Savannah retreat. I appreciated having a spot to park my car. The outdoor space was perfect as well. It was full of butterflies! Overall, I thought it was quiet for being right in the middle of everything. I would return to this same place if I am ever in Savannah again.

Rustic cottage with all expected amenities'. Great location with restaurants and tourist sites within walkable distance. Just used my car one day to go to the beach, otherwise car was left in the driveway. Communication with property management team was excellent. All communication was prior to check-in. No issues during stay.

The experience was great. Clean and Comfortable. Within Walking distance of most of the items we wanted to see downtown. Great to have a parking spot. We would rent again. Staff was friendly and professional very welcoming.

Freeman’s cottage was perfect for my wife, our son, our dog, and myself for three nights. Convenient walk to shops on Broughton and quick access via car to events for work downtown. I would caution against adults with mobility issues accessing the loft for sleeping, that could be dangerous. Overall, a neat and comfortable experience with a lot of history built in to the space. Well done for a short stay.

From the time I booked this Freeman's Cottage to the day we left, Lucky Savannah went above and beyond in customer service. I can't say enough of how they really made our stay wonderful. The cottage is lovely and quirky which is so special. We will defintely be back to stay at Freeman's Cottage.

Having us wait in our car versus sitting in the backyard courtyard while housekeeping was inside was a poor decision. Why couldn’t we sit in the backyard? Poor communication from management company. We were not in the house. Please pass this along to the actual owner as well.

The unit was as advertised and very comfortable. Highlights are the small courtyard, perfect for a relaxing morning coffee or nightcap. Also, the parking space is a lifesaver in Savannah, we commented many times about how nice it was to have resereved parking.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights with our Mini Schnauzer and we LOVED it here. We walked to Bay St and rode our bikes all around Savannah. Which, we stored our bikes in the backyard and it worked out great! We have a crew cab, long bed pick up truck that fit in the parking spot without blocking the sidewalk. The only small negative was the weather was above 80 everyday and the sleeping arrangements upstairs at the cottage got pretty hot at night. Luckily there was a sofa bed downstairs that we used instead to stay cool. Otherwise, I would absolutely stay here again, the location is perfect!

This property was in a wonderful location of Savannah and walkable to so much. Very cute and comfortable place and the icing on the cake was the parking on the property. Perfect yard for pets also. We would recommend this place and would stay here again.

We had a fantastic day all the way from the ability to check in early for a small fee – thank you so much!, to being able to be responsive to any questions that we had about the property. This little cottage is absolutely adorable and perfect for a couple and or a few small dogs. The property management team was great.
The location is only two blocks from the riverfront, an easy walk to most of the parks, and most of the better restaurants in historic Savannah. The property was well-kept and is neat as it is one of the historic properties
While, this was no problem for us, I would make people aware that the best living arrangements are up a steep flight of stairs that are very safe and navigable, but are necessary to get around.

The Freeman house is beautiful and has so much history. We have been to Savannah many times and found this place very convenient and very comfortable. There is a lovely breakfast area in the back looking out to the patio and garden area. The upstairs with the bedroom is peaceful and relaxing. Stairs were a little challenging with the bathroom downstairs. Otherwise, this place is perfect. Nice size bathroom, and the kitchen upgraded. No dishwasher but really no space for it either so understood why

Freeman's Cottage is a wonderful historic cottage. Unfortunately, our stay was not enjoyable. The cottage is in a location where it's hard to sleep as there are lights that are placed around it that are meant for a commercial location. They are VERY bright! Also, I have stayed in the Northern Historic District before and felt safe, but this time I felt unsafe. This cottage is on the edge of the historic district where homeless people meander. It can also be loud as it abuts the the street and Friday and Saturday are loud with revelers walking by! The sofa turns into a bed but only has one thin blanket for use. There is a need for one more blanket. As if this wasn’t enough, during our stay, the neighbor across the street was having his windows replaced. The entire day there was a "Lift" being used for the upper windows and it was expelling diesel and making loud engine noises. Needless to say, no relaxing breakfast or lunch and no napping occurred. The morning of our departure there as a knock on the door and we were notified by a person from a pest company that they were preparing (tenting) the house for termite fumigation that day. They then placed a notification on the door that read, “DANGER FUMIGATION WITH VIKANE DEADLY POISON. This notification also had pictures of skulls and bones. The owners had not prepared the house to protect furniture or dishes by the time we left.

We love the location of this house and its the second time staying here. The problem that we have is that the bathroom is down steep stairs and during the night can be very challenging. A dishwasher would be a plus and a full-size refrigerator for longer stays.

The property is near a square and it has a small fenced in area, both perfect for our pups we traveled to Savannah with. The inside of the cottage is very historic, but the bathroom redone. The kitchen had everything we needed, although small. The home was not as clean as I would have liked - I could see dust build up on the stair banister, on the light fixtures and there was mold in the shower. Although the dedicated, off street parking was so convenient, we'll probably look for somewhere else to stay next time we visit Savannah.

We spent a long weekend at this property. Great for 1-2 people. Location was excellent. We used the hop-on, hop-off on Saturday and walked everywhere on Sunday, Management team was also very responsive. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in the cottage, and couldn't have asked for a better location. All points of downtown were walkable, and having dedicated parking was a huge plus! The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay again when visiting Savannah!
