Beautiful house, lovely garden, room was spacious with everything I could have wanted, bed very comfortable

The garden area is beautiful with its pond and waterfall with many spots to sit. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a very comfy bed and linens, and cosy housecoats. The bathroom had a soaker tub for 2. We didn’t cook but the shared kitchen area has everything needed with complimentary coffee or tea. Thank you for a memorable night away. 🙂

Beautifully furnished and equipped house in a relatively new Waterloo subdivision. Ideal for a short stay in a quiet suburban street backing on to a forest and garden. Our host was extremely gracious and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again when visiting friends in Waterloo.

Host was very welcoming and explained aspects of the house. The bedroom had lights closet to hang clothes, and a living room to relax or watch tv and the kitchen was available.

What breakfast? We appreciated Carol's genuine friendliness and her hard work finding a place for us for each night.

Carol made it a point to welcome us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the facilities and of her lovely property. We were sorry that our one night was so busy that we couldn't take full advantage. We are often in Waterloo visiting family and will definitely stay at Hammer Haus again.

This is a private house in a residential estate. Car parking is not convenient.Had to register with local authority to be able to park overnight in street..
It would have been appreciated had we known in advance that there was no en-suite bathroom.

This is a beautiful property. It is roomy, comfortable and very inviting. The area is quiet and there is a beautiful woodlot behind the house with trails throughout.

We booked a room in your home by mistake via booking.com and didn't know it was an Airbnb setup. So it really did not work very well for us. I would guess that as an Airbnb room it was excellent.

I highly recommend this place. The decor is simple yet elegant, the rooms are well appointed, and there are lovely unexpected touches throughout, kind and thoughtful. Carol is a welcoming and gracious host. I would return any time I am in the area. Thank you !

It was a very good place to stay it was quite and clean and the bath tub was amazing
The lady blaming us for damage on the ceiling from a leak in the plumbing that we clearly never did. Saying we flooded the bathroom I am a plumber of 17 years and she wound not take my word. Let see her plumbing ticket next time.

The host/owner Carol was very sociable and pleasant. The room was fabulous and the outdoors was also fabulous. We enjoyed ourselves and plan to return.

Super clean. Bed is super comfortable. Excellent location. The house is near a trail very convenient for a long walk.
