We could not have asked for a better place. The location was great, the spacious 4 bedrooms with every attention to detain, the kitchen…it was our home away from home. Perfect location to explore Florence, just steps from Ponte Vecchio. Immaculately maintained apartment with large common areas. The hosts, Anna and Erika were fantastic, and in fact Erika was our chef for a very special New Year’s dinner for my family of 7. Wish every property was this well located, maintained, and managed.

This is an absolutely amazing apartment with every amenity you can possibly need. Nine of us (all adults) stayed very comfortably with great privacy. We had family breakfasts and even cooked a wonderful family dinner while there. It is very safe and private yet steps away from the Ponte Vecchio. Amazing shops and restaurants just outside the front door. Washer and dryer were so helpful. We could not have been more happy with the property and communication with the property manager Erika who even helped us with groceries. We definitely plan to return to this property.

There were 8 of us on this trip and the property was perfect for our needs. The location could not be better

We had communication with the hosts prior to our stay and were welcomed after traveling all day at the property by Erika. She showed us around. We noticed one room was rather warm - but she said the AC should cool down. We contacted her within the hour and she came back and admitted the master bedroom and bath (supposed to sleep 4 people) AC were not working. She promised someone would arrive the next day to fix it. Our group was sadly but thankfully smaller than we originally thought so we made do using the rest of the space in the apartment. We had my 84 year old mother and were all quite tired from traveling. We assumed the problem would be resolved the next day. The next day we received a message later in the evening that the problem would not be resolved during our 6 stay stay at the apartment. She said it appeared we were fine with the problem. We were trying to be understanding and accommodating when we arrived and were very gracious to Erika. This did not mean we were ok with not being able to use 1/3 of the place for our entire stay without being properly compensated. I tried to resolve the situation with the property manager via many emails over the course of the week. I had asked for a refund for 1/3 of the space since it was not possible to use that part of the apartment due to the 105 degree florence heat that week. They offered to refund 10% of the stay and no more. this was unacceptable to us - we only expected a fair refund and still do...

What a fabulous home! We were three couples traveling to Florence and Piazza Piti was absolutely an amazing place to stay! From the start, Donatella was responsive to any questions we had and provided us with so many details to make our stay smooth & easy. Erica greeted us when we arrived and checked on us throughout our stay to be sure everything was going smoothly. Erica is an amazing chef and gave us a cooking class at the apartment and served us an unforgettable meal! She & her assistant were so friendly and fun to talk with. The apartment is marvelous! From the decor & comfort in every room to it's perfect location in the city. Anything you want to see or do is an easy walk. If you are planning a trip to Florence, this property will not disappoint! We will certainly be back!

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment located directly across from the Pitti Palace and just a few blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is very large, beautifully furnished and updated with a modern, fully stocked kitchen and four full bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms though the fourth bedroom is very small with an external bath. The location is close to everything yet in a relatively quiet spot. Three bedrooms face the Piazza Pitti which has restaurants and street garbage and recycling bins that create quite a lot of noise when used and cleared. Communication with the host was very good and check in was easy. The host was also very helpful with information regarding restaurants and making reservations.

7 of us traveled from Alabama and Mississippi to celebrate Sheilo’s 60th birthday. This apartment was absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location. We enjoyed the food and wine, the sights and the shopping! I highly recommend the pasta cooking class — it was fabulous! Until next time!

The apartment was beautifully appointed in keeping with the style of the building, the bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen very modern. It is within the old part of Florence just across from the Pitti Palace, close to all the attraction in the centre of the city, yet far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise at night. We had breakfast one minute's walk away Ditta Artigianale and a superb, long, alfresco Sunday lunch at Enoteca Pitti, 30 seconds' walk from the apartment. We could not have wished for better.

The first thing that stands out to me about this VRBO is its history, location across from the Pitti Palace and relatively short walking distance to many of the top tourist attractions. The VRBO is located in a historic building and is a little quirky in its layout, but the space was renovated very nicely and we really grew to appreciate the ambiance. It contains a large master bedroom with sitting area, a large kitchen with table that was great for our cooking class, and a very nice entry room with dining table. The owner very kindly provided house wine at no charge which was a really nice perk.
The only minor complaints we had was with air conditioning the first night, but the owner fixed it the next day. The master bath was also small, but that really was not an issue for us.
All in all, we really like this VRBO and it helped make our trip to Florence one of our favorite stops in Italy.

Luxury Apartment
We enjoyed our stay in this luxury apartment. The owners have taken steps to insure that you are pampered in the apartment, whether it's the bedding, towels, or the provision of wine and spirits. They have thought of the little touches that make a stay memorable.
We appreciated the guest book with the thorough listings of places to visit and to dine at. Definitely would love to stay here again if we ever visit Florence in the future. Highly recommended!

Overall excellent-highly recommended
This was a perfect place to experience Florence. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and pictures/description are very accurate. Erika was very helpful in checking in and arranging our taxi at checkout. It was very hot in Florence when we were there but the air conditioning and overall building structure kept the apartment nice and comfortable. The location was perfect with multiple restaurants and shops as well as grocery less than 2-3 minute walk. The Ponte Vecchio was also about a 2 to 3 minute walk straight down the road in front. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fun in Florence
The villa was perfect for our needs. We had 4 adult couples and there was plenty of space. All but one bedroom had a private bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. The big butcher block table in the kitchen became the gathering place. There was a nice (and complimentary) supply of chianti in the villa - a very nice touch. Everyone really enjoyed the villa. The location was perfect for exploring Florence. It was about 3-4 city blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. There were restaurants and bakeries and shops everywhere. Perfect access to everything in the main area of Florence.
I can't review the villa without talking about the customer host, Erika. She was fabulous. Very helpful and responsive to all questions. We decided to do a cooking class and Erika was the instructor. She knows her stuff! Many pasta lessons learned. And, a delicious meal too! Erika really helped make the stay at the villa perfect. Grazie Erika!

Great for 2 families of 4!
This property is beautiful, spacious, and in a wonderful location. Our 2 families, with 4 teenagers, had plenty of space. Donatella and Erika were very quick to respond to any questions, and Erika even had some travel recommendations for us. I can’t praise this experience enough, I highly recommend it!

Wonderful property- clean, spacious and better than advertised! Ericka and Dona are great-would definitely recommend a dinner cooked for your group by Ericka! Location is awesome and the bedrooms/bathrooms provide plenty of privacy. I will definitely rent again from Dona next time I am in Florence

Amazing Stay!
Everything about our stay in Florence and this apartment was perfect. From beginning to end our communication with Dona and her team was excellent, the apartment was so beautiful and clean and the location is ideal. Dona even went so far as to ensure we had some medical devices on site for my mother. I know it was a difficult task and she was very gracious about it! We are already planning our trip back to stay again at one of of Dona' beautiful apartments.

Wonderful Apartment in the oltrarno
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The rooms were spacious and separated for privacy and we loved the fact that there were multiple bathrooms, My son (4) loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Even though there are multiple bathrooms, we didn't really have any issues with water pressure or temperature.
The host was very communicative beforehand and had a lot of suggestions for activities and restaurants. She was even able to help secure a birthday cake for my wife.
The only thing (minor) was that the address given was a bit off from how we put it into google maps. Apparently there are differences between commercial and residential numbers to buildings so we were a couple of blocks off.

Perfect host, excellent location!
First of all, our host went out of her way to make sure we had an easy time checking in. The location was excellent and the apartment was even nicer than the pictures. We had a party of nine and the space was perfect. The kitchen was amazing and equipped with anything you might need. I would stay here again anytime and highly recommend this apartment.

Location, location, location!
We are a group of over 70 experienced travelers. We have learned that it is important to have a great place to stay in a great central location. This apartment has it all. It is in walking distance to everything you need or want. They are responsive to any question or need you have. The bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms are wonderful, and the livings spaces are great! It is a place we would come back to. We loved every moment in Florence because of how comfortable we were here.

Perfect apartment in a great location
This luxury apartment was perfect for our group while visiting Firenze.
The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we all truly had our own space. Everything is high end, and you will be very comfortable if you choose to stay here. The building has some fun history too.
We loved the location, just across the Ponte Vecchio bridge in a neighbor filled with great bars and restaurants. It was fun to look out the windows right at the Pitti Palace and see the activity on the street below. It's very quiet in the apartment. Everything you could want is just outside your door.
The host is great to work with and very helpful with making dinner and museum arrangements. We hired Erika to come make us a special dinner with home made pasta one night that was so much fun, and absolutely delicious! A very memorable night. We enjoyed the complimentary wine & hard alcohol they provide. It's a very nice touch.
I highly recommend Santo Spirito and will stay there again if we're so lucky as to return to this beautiful apartment in this beautiful city.

Great family time
We were treated to a wonderful stay which was very convenient to walking for all the major attractions. It was especially good to have an elevator to the 3rd floor for our 80 year old mother. The accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed 2 chef prepared meals in the apartment which were fantastic.
Our only wish was for a more reliable and faster wifi.

Piazza Pitti 22 was an amazing apartment, one of the best stays we’ve had! It was spacious, immaculately clean and exceptionally modernized. We took a cooking class with the wonderful Erika and had a fantastic experience! The location could not have been better. This exceeded our expectations! Amazing Apartment and Location Location Location
Everything about the apartment was truly wonderful. It's a bit smaller than the pictures appear but it didn't matter as it was well suited for our family of 4 and would accommodate comfortably 6-8 people. The location couldn't have been more perfect. It's directly across from the Pitti Palace where you have to visit the gardens and the neighborhood has some of the best local restaurants and bars. The owners were a delight to work with. They provide a book with all kinds of recommendations, which was so helpful. The washer and dryer was a great plus as was the elevator if you wanted to use it. They responded very quickly with every question and the apartment manager, Erika, was so helpful. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Five Star Property
First class property run by thoughtful owners who attend to every detail. It’s in a great location, just past Ponte Vecchio. The flat is spacious and filled with light, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything to make our stay in Florence delightful. The wine, compliments of the owner’s vineyard, was great. Erika the property manager helpful and, since she doubles as an excellent chef, visited one evening for an absolutely delightful meal expertly prepared while we watched. We’ll be back!
