Casa Terraza was a great home base for our family during our trip to the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area in late July/early August. The pictures online are exactly as it is. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors, with a beautiful view of the pacific in the distance. The house is roughly a 10 minute drive the national park and 5 minutes to downtown quepos.
Krissia, our point of contact for the house, was absolutely incredible when it came to arranging tours and asking questions during our trip. We also had chef Mauricio come and prepare dinner for us one night and it’s a “must do”.
Wildlife-wise, we had one afternoon where a sloth was within view and a couple days where the monkeys passed through. We saw more animals near the house than we saw at Manuel Antonio :-)

We loved our stay here. The concierge Krissia was fantastic and very helpful. The pool and patio were amazing … monkeys, spectacular views and plenty of shade during hottest parts of the day. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is super well equipped. We hired the chef recommended by Krissia and his meal was a highlight of our trip! Strongly recommend hiring him for at least one meal. We hope to return to this vacation home again soon.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with two other couples, and absolutely loved this house! It was so cozy and unique throughout. Everything you could possibly need or want was already thought of and available for us. From bug spray/sunscreen to shopping bags, drink koozies, books, movies, and extra blankets. None of us wanted to leave. The owner left the most beautiful fruit basket for us to enjoy upon check-in. The view from the pool is spectacular and perfect for bird watchers. Tons of wildlife spotted & we even had monkeys in the yard on our last day there. Communication with Krissia, the concierge was perfect. She was always available and helpful when needed. Best place I have ever stayed while in Manuel Antonio. Would recommend to anyone wanting an unforgettable stay!

Area and decks are perfect for morning coffee, animal watching and evening card playing. We really enjoyed the infinity pool. The setup with the master upstairs was perfect for our family of six (two boys ages 19,21 and their girlfriends) . Very close to restaurants and shops in both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Our stay was amazing with beautiful views. We had a family of monkeys swing by, a Toucan had a few sips of the water from the pool. We even watched a sloth hang from a tree and slowly go into his ball position. A Truly Wonderful Experience

This was my 5th time in Costa Rica, and while I’ve stayed at multiple amazing properties this was the best. Amazing location, views, multiple monkey visits (capuchins and squirrel monkeys), scarlet macaws 15 ft away hanging out, a great pool, and a comfortable, well stocked house. It somehow exceeded expectations, even after reading all the other great reviews. Will definitely stay again if available over our next spring break!

Lovely home with amazing porch. My family and I loved this home and spent most of our time out on the back porch enjoying the views or swimming. The pool is around 5 feet deep all around, so my youngest had some trouble with that, but they all adored jumping in after a hot day.

House is exactly as the pictures show and we enjoyed our stay. The view from the pool for sunset is one of the highlights of our trip. The house is closer to Quepos and a bit further from the heart of Manuel Antonio, but a bus trip to MA is typical no matter where you stay. House can be a little difficult to find at night. Krissia (owner) and Mariam (concierge) were great to work with and helpful throughout our trip and planning for it.

This house was more than what we imagined it would be. Everything about it was perfect. The location, the breathtaking views which the pictures just dont do justice, the animals we saw and the wonderful care Krissia took of our family. We were visited almost daily by squirrel monkeys and white faced monkeys, we saw macaws fly by almost every day, as well as toucans and an incredible variety of other birds that just hung out in the trees by the house.
The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great at night and I spent at least a total of 24 hours sitting on the patio having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. You can truly spend an entire day just sitting out there.
My son went in the pool every single day and loved it. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Krissia booked us the best excursions and we were picked up right at the house for most of them. This was a trip of a lifetime and I can honestly say it may not have been had we stayed anywhere else. I hope to be able to return to Casa Terraza in the future.

This beautiful home far exceeded our expectations! It is in a neighborhood very close to MA (we had a rental car but bus stops are close), but still feels secluded and peaceful. My children loved it, and preferred relaxing there than exploring. The home was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. The A/C was cool, hot showers were plentiful, washer and dryer worked well. The home was spacious, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, but we especially loved the hammocks on the terrace. It was a nice place to enjoy the sunrise every morning, and the rainstorms every evening. The view is breathtaking, and we were able to spot a toucan, sloth, and some macaws. Unfortunately, no monkeys, but that is the nature of wildlife.
The concierge was top notch. Krissia was wonderful with answering all of my questions, and scheduling services for us. We had a delicious dinner by Chef Erik and Kristin. We enjoyed their company, and was one of our favorite meals. We even had enough to enjoy leftovers. My children enjoyed surfing lessons with Luis. It was my son’s favorite activity in MA, and is requesting to return!
Overall, I highly recommend!!! If you are thinking about booking, do it! You won’t regret it!

This home is well cared for and has an amazing view. I got up early each morning just to sit outside. The sounds of nature from the pool and terrace were amazing. We saw monkeys, several macaws, hummingbirds, and a toucan while at the house. The best parts were the sunsets and the unbelievable meals by Chef Eric! Book it, you won’t be disappointed! My only regret was not having a full day to just enjoy the views at the house.

We could not have picked a better property to rent. The house is more beautiful than the pictures. The sunsets are beautiful and we had more birds to watch than we could count. Especially 2 scarlet macaws. Krissia answered every question we had and provided so much information. She also helped with excursions. Our 2 granddaughters, 8 and 10 loved the house and we all enjoyed the beautiful infinity pool after a day of exploring the area. We treated ourselves to 3 dinners from Chef Erik and every one was superb.

This property is exactly as beautiful, well-maintained and relaxing as pictured. While we didn’t see any monkeys, the view from the deck—nestled in among trees with a sweeping view out to the water—was always fabulous, with lots of different birds in the early morning and gorgeous sunsets in the evening.
There are a few restaurants you can walk to from here, but the main town is also a short taxi ride away. We opted to cook in most nights because our deck was such a nice dining venue. Kitchen was very well-stocked with everything we needed.
Beds were all comfortable, even the pull-out sofa in the third bedroom. Nice to have separate bath towels, pool towels and beach towels available.
Krissia, the host, was extremely helpful and communicative.
We would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

What a total experience and amazing stay! First, the house, outdoor space and views were unbelievable and outstanding! It is beautiful in the pictures, but they do not do justice to the real thing. The house is so beautifully laid out, decorated and exceptionally clean. The outdoor space, pool and garden areas were impeccably manicured and maintained. The house was very well equipped and supplied so it was not necessary to buy a lot of things….an extra thank you! Krissia was an absolute delight and so easy to work with! She helped us with everything from transportation to and from the airport, local taxi service, excursions, shopping and meals. She was very quick to answer my many questions and definitely an asset to the owner and so nice and welcoming. Chef William cooked us 2 fabulous meals. The taste and presentation were exquisite and added an extra level to our Costa Rican visit. Muchas gracias! I cannot say enough positive things about truly everything! We enjoyed our visit (and didn’t want to leave!) I wish we had scheduled more time in Quepos. Krissia helped us arrange a catamaran trip that our kids loved, and she arranged two chef prepared meals in the house. Our kids loved the pool and watching wildlife while in it. If you drive, You do need to be very careful when entering and leaving the neighborhood to the main road as it’s on a curve.
