I liked that the room and the bathroom, although shared, was clean. The dossier with the information of the house and the town was a nice surprise. Kind and accommodating owner.

I would like to have the option of a smaller pillow, as I sleep face down. Furthermore, even though there are complimentary soft drinks in the room, there could also be a bottle of water, for the coffee maker.

Location was good. Bed was comfortable.

I felt micromanaged while I was staying on the property. Owner had an issue with me leaving the lights on in the laundry area while I was using the washer and dryer for an hour and a half. I was asked to make sure I keep turning them off each time. I was then messaged after I checked out only asking if I left through the front door, absolutely no mention about hoping that I enjoyed my stay, which is very unusual.. I was only at the property for less than 12 hours but didn't feel welcome. You are also are sharing the space, more specifically the bathroom and laundry area, with long-term tenants who live on the same floor.

Nice to have a little care package with snacks waiting for us. Lovely views over town.

The place was beautiful and the hosts helped us more than we would have expected despite a problem with the reservation on booking.com. Wonderful people !

The Mcbayne house has a beautiful place complete with a binder containing history of the house and home builder.

Great staff, amazing location There was an issue caused by the people who stayed in the room before i arrived and the staff was extremely helpful and nice, did everything to fix it.

THe house was easy to find. The room was immaculate and incredibly inviting.....so many amenities.!! The bed was super comfortable and loved being able to sit , have a glass of wine and look out at Hamilton. Our host met us outside and super friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

The only small problem was late ( ie 1 am) at night I ( the wife) desperately had to use the washroom and it was occupied for a long length of time ...making me even more desperate.!

Owners were super accommodating, and it was so close to the hospital. Syper cute space with all the old charms. Especially loved all the extras !!!

We liked the location and the old world charm. The host went out of her way to fulfill a need for us and for that ,we are very thankful. We will return without hesitation.

A shared bathroom could be difficult if all rooms were occupied.

We had a lovely stay! It was a great historic vibe while also being extremely clean and well-kept. The hosts were thoughtful, there was free parking, and it is in the heart of Hamilton. Would recommend to anyone!
