Large property with 2nd barn/game house and additional beds

I stayed here with my whole family and a few friends for my wedding weekend and it was perfect! The place was spacious and we had more than enough room. Not to mention the stunning backdrop! The beds were comfy and everything was so relaxing.

Absolutely incredible house and location in the countryside just 30 mins from Cooperstown. Stayed in the main house with extended family and could not have asked for a nicer visit. Beautiful views, clean house with all the amenities. Thank you! We’d love to come back someday.

We stayed here for 4 nights for a 15U baseball tournament in Cooperstown. The views from this property are unbelievable. One night we sat around the fire pit and watched fireworks from off in the distance down in the valleys below. The house had absolutely everything we needed for our stay and more than enough room to accommodate three families for the weekend. The kids loved the game house with the pool table and ping pong. Each night they would play flashlight tag while the parents enjoyed hanging out in the great room or the movie room. During our stay it was unusually hot for central Nee York, but there were plenty of fans and enough breeze in the rooms that were not air conditioned. I cannot recommend this property enough if you are looking for a well appointed, beautiful home in the Cherry Valley/Cooperstown area!! The views alone are worth the stay!!

This place is beautiful!! The views are incredible and the yard is huge with lots of room to play games and sit around the fire pit at night. The houses have everything you need. Just bring food and beverages!
There are hay fields surrounding the property and we were able to watch the hay get cut, fluffed and then rolled. It was fascinating to watch.

Simply amazing location with a stunning panoramic view of the valley around you. Quiet location to enjoy all of the views of wildlife and songbirds while you enjoy morning coffee in the huge family room. The stay was perfect, amenities were great. Thank you

The views are jaw dropping in 360 degrees, and having a large dining room and we'll stocked kitchen made for some wonderful communal meals. Everything was comfortable and well cared for. An incredible stay.

Some friends and I stayed at the house for 4 days (3 nights), and it is amazing! Spacious enough that people can spread out and engage in multiple activities without being on top of each other, but also roomy enough for when we all got togetger for group activities and meals. Second house had it's own kitchenette, pool table, ping pong and lounge while the main house was great for watching movies, playing group games, and cooking meals for 10+ people. The views are absolutely stunning and Amos was very pleasant and responsive. Would absolutely go back: 10out of 10 star experience!

As this was our fifth stay at the property, it goes without saying that we have had many enjoyable times there and find the property and location to be very lovely and ideal for our purposes. It is much the same now as it had been on our four previous visits.
We did notice this year that there was much less firewood provided than in the past. A whole wall of the garage used to be stocked with firewood, but this time the amount we were provided only allowed us to have indoor fires for part of the day on two of our three nights at the property, as we were worried about running out of wood. This was somewhat disappointing, as the ability to enjoy the fireplace for the duration of our stay has always been an important selling point of the property. We thought that perhaps this was simply a timing issue that would not have occurred if a wood delivery had taken place more recently.
Otherwise, we had a good, relaxing time. We will certainly be considering a return visit in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The great room is exactly what we look for on trips, since it has room for everyone in our group of 14, and includes those in the kitchen as well. The hot tub was inviting, as the weather was cold and rainy while we were there. I would love to go back another time and enjoy the views in the nicer weather - it is an amazing property! Amos was very responsive during the whole process. We recommend his home to everyone!

off the bat the views are incredible no matter which way you look. Seriously, bring a camera and binoculars. The interior is huge and tons of windows. The hot tub was really nice and clean. They allowed us to host our wedding there and the space was perfect. We had a couple of small snags but the owners were incredibly good with communicating. A thing of note: there is no door to the master bedroom. You do have your own wing of the house and bathroom but there is no door. The barn is beautiful as well and has 3 separate beds with it's own private living space. Overall the place is definitely worth the stay.

I travel to Cooperstown annually with friends and family to play baseball at Doubleday and Beaver Valley fields. Amos’ property was big enough for our entire group to stay together. Lots of room, very quiet, and had everything we needed. We will look for this house again when booking next year!

Amos was veryeasy to deal with fromthe start. Property was perfect for our party of 10. Our boys enjoyed playing wiffle ball and the hot tub when not at baseball. The views during all times of the day were amazing. Dark property makes it great for viewing of the stars. Soooo beautiful. Definitely would rent again.

Stay was incredible, any questions to the owner were answered extree mely quick and the area had some great spots we visited in addition to the great time on the property.
Use of the hot tub was amazing, Unadilla Dirt Bike Track was awesome, hit Wintergreen Park which had some amazing overlook sights and then made our way to a local Irish Pub!

Great getaway with friends. Had 5 kids age 8-11 with us and they loved the openness of the land to play. Parents loved the serenity of having no one in site. Views were amazing. We visited the Baseball Hall of Fame and Howe Caverns, both 30 min away. Come prepared with food not many places nearby for shopping. Gorgeous great room to sit by the fire and unplug.

This property is amazing and the pictures really don't show the detail in this house. There is a touch of old and new all in one. For us this was about escaping the world for a few days. Views are amazing and the grounds were great. Amazing sunrise views in the morning right of the master.

Relaxing
I found this place online and thought it looked like a relaxing place. It is!! You will need to bring meals or groceries with you. You can drive into Cooperstown approx. 23 miles. We ate breakfast at the house and then lunch or dinner in town. Unless you want to spend the whole day in town. We also went to Glimmerglass some days after having breakfast and packed our lunch/snacks and then ate dinner in town and walked around town. It is a nice place to get away.
House is air conditioned in the two extra bedrooms not the master bedroom. It is air conditioned in the media room but not in the kitchen/great room. If it is hot outside it will be very warm in the kitchen/great room till evening. We spent our time in the media room if it was too warm. It worked for us. In the evening it was comfortable.
