Great communications with host! Very friendly and hospitable. House was great! Large enough for our big family and our teens had a great time. Neighborhood is great. Love staying in Augusta Ranch. Definitely recommend!

The Sanctuary provided sun and comfort during our stay. The home is very well appointed with good info provided for maximizing our enjoyment.
Pool and foosball along with 3 separate indoor living areas provided plenty of room (although our small group didn't need it). The owners were great to work with!

We booked “The Sanctuary “ mid January thru February. This was our second stay at this home. Our first trip in 2022 was so memorable we booked again for 2024. We were pleasantly surprised the first time and so excited to stay again. This home is well cared for,,extremely comfortable and very welcoming for our family and friends! The kitchen is lovely with ample prep space and supplies. Plenty of space throughout the home for entertaining. We love the beautiful backyard and heated pool. We spent most of our time enjoying the patio and view of the golf course. Hours of card playing as well! The location is perfect for our needs with friends close and shopping nearby. The Phoenix/Mesa airport is conveniently close as well! Meg and Mike were very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we were settled and comfortable! Excellent hosts!! This home will always be our “home” when we winter in Mesa!!! We love it so much we booked again for 2025!! Gary and Patty W. (Iowa)

The house was excellent for our stay. It easily accommodated our party of 9 that included a 1 & 3 year old. Their was lots of space and the yard was great also. This property would have received all 5's except for the pool. It is advertised as a heated pool but never got above 65 during our stay. Partly because of cold weather and partly because it had to be refilled at the start of our stay and just never reached a warm temp. The "heated" pool was a big reason we rented this property. It is a great location and quiet area.

New years eve with family. Everything was perfect. Great home and hosts are very cordial. Great home on the golf course with fire pit and pool. You will love it. We are definitely going back.

This place was just perfect for two families to stay, enjoy the pool, and do lots of hiking. It’s in a great location close to many stores, restaurants, and hiking areas.
The yard are and pool were a great setup and the owners were so easy to contact and communicate with when we had some questions.
We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again!

Really good set up for us. Most of what we wanted to see was West of highway 17, so spent a lot of time on highway 60.

Wow, the home was perfect for our 11 family members visiting from upstate New York! The house was everything pictured and promised on the VRBO site......and more. It was large enough so everyone felt comfortable - also had two large eating areas - perfect for the adult's table and kid's table! The pool was heated for swimming (kids did that a lot), a great outdoor BBQ area, and room for the kids to play in the house while the family cooked, visited, and just relaxed. Meg and Mike, the owners were just a phone call or text away when we had a question. The location was ideal, with easy access to the freeway, and shopping areas within a couple of miles. We will return the next time our family comes to visit!

We had a week-long stay at this fantastic sanctuary! Six of us thoroughly enjoyed the house, the amenities and especially the yard and pool area! This sanctuary is a perfect place to spend time relaxing in a beautiful setting and in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is well-stocked with everything needed and at the same time close to necessities-food store, gas, ATM, etc. Meg is an excellent communicator. If our reunion brings us back to Arizona, we'll return to this sanctuary for sure!

Lots of room, good location in nice neighbourhood. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 childrens bedroom downstairs. Only 1 TV with cable though, it's located in the main room. Good home for a family getaway.

This is an excellent vacation house rental. Property owners were awesome. House was everything it advertised & then some. The house layout provides provides gathering places and also accommodates some quiet spots to get away & rest. The pool has been recently updated.

The 'Sanctuary' supplied a week of fun for our family! The location was central to all we had planned, our favorite being Goldfield Ghost Town where we spent 2 days with our kids ages 2 and 8 and met with a friend who's child is 4. The house was immaculately clean and had a large amount of towels and kitchen supplies. The backyard was perfect with a turf area for the kids to run, an outdoor kitchen area, beautiful gas fire pit, and gorgeous pool. We ended up coming on a colder week so we missed out on a lot of swimming but the owner was sure to make the pool heater work so we were able to enjoy a couple days, one of which was a late check out so the kids could swim before our late flight! Very easy to communicate with the owner and very simple check out list! We hope to be back again!

We were pleasantly pleased when we first entered!!! Our first impression was Wow! This place is beautiful!!! We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful backyard and golf course view!!! The heated pool was a big hit!! Spent many hours just relaxing and grilling with friends and family. Beds were comfy as well! Meg was such a pleasure to visit with. Checked in often which we appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Plenty of room for everyone with 2 large tables. Property is very well maintained and cared for! Loved our visit so much that we booked for March 2023! Was perfect for us and our visitors! Thanks Meg! See ya next March!

The home worked perfectly for our large family gathering in AZ during Christmas. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and outdoor fire pit during chilly evenings. The kitchen has all the essential cookware for making meals or grilling outside. We would certainly come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! First of all, Meg is a great host! She is super responsive and despite all of my questions, she was always gracious and available. The house is wonderful, but the real highlight is the backyard. There's plenty of space and furniture for everyone to enjoy. Inside the house, it was spacious enough to accommodate multiple activities at a time from movie watching to game playing board games to cooking. Even with our group of eight, people were never on top of each other. Everyone in the group from ages 13 to 71 enjoyed the home. My kids didn't want to leave and are already asking to go back.

The sanctuary was everything we needed and could have wanted. Super clean! Pool was perfect. All accommodations were as listed. The owner Meg checked in with us and made sure we were good, which says a lot for her! I travel for work and it was refreshing walking into a clean home. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at The Sanctuary. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. A built in grill, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a perfect sized pool, and a fully equipped kitchen. We also took advantage of, and greatly appreciated the extra fans for the bedrooms and the pack n play and highchair for our youngest. All such great additions. They thought of everything that would make this house feel like home. It was in a great location, close to shopping and tons of golf courses. Meg, the owner, was so responsive and communicative. She was great to rent from. Out of dozens of rentals we've had, this has been our favorite. We definitely look forward to staying here in the future!

This is our home away from home! This is the 4th or 5th time we rented this house - it’s that good! Meg is amazing to work with. Very attentive and kind.We love everything about the house and location. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare any meal you desire. Sitting by the pool with the smell of freshly mowed grass from the golf course is so peaceful. We can’t wait to be back!

Even though the weather was a little bit cold we very much enjoyed our month long stay. Grandkids loved the pool and house was clean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was up to date.

Our family of 11 had an awesome experience at The Sanctuary. The weather was absolutely beautiful with highs in the 80s so the children spent hours in the pool, and we adults enjoyed hanging out there soaking up the sun. Almost all of our meals were prepared in the outdoor kitchen so it was the perfect gathering place for us. We hope to return for a repeat visit at The Sanctuary next winter.

Meg was great to work with and was very quick to reply to an questions. The house was wonderful, the location was great and all our needs were met or exceeded. The pool, the BBQ area and the firepit were all wonderful and we used them regularly with no issues. The location was close to shopping of all kinds, grocery, retail and even the Mesa Swap meet was a 2 minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the location and the weather. Would definetly consider staying again.
