The house was warm and fun with all the decor. The view was incredible! Hard to beat sitting on a deck with unobstructed views of the ocean and beach. Listing and pictures are accurate. Great home! My family had a lot of fun staying here.

We had the best time ever. Most awesome views, the ocean being right there to hear the crashing waves. Beautiful sunsets. The deer being all around, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house had so much character. Very special home. Thank you so much for sharing!

This home felt like my long lost family cabin. Art and crafts everywhere. I love the eclectic feeling throughout. Very well thought out and put together. And you can feel the residual love of the owners radiating from the walls. Thank you for letting us share it! What a wonderful memory!

This house is obviously well-loved by the owners and their family, but the house is not well-kept. Thank goodness for the deck, the view, and the waves. which are five star. The house smelled strongly of mold when we arrived. Even though we took over an hour to air it out and left windows open, the smell never completely stopped. I had to use an asthma inhalers all three days we were there. The art and collectibles are wonderful and fun. But the furniture, carpets, and rugs are tattered and dirty. The living room has two futons, a day bed, and a chair. All but the chair face AWAY from the spectacular views and are quite uncomfortable for sitting. The kitchen was very poorly equipped in terms of pots and pans. Some items had to be re-washed before we could use them. The curtains throughout the living room are dirty and stained. The bed in the master bedroom was okay to sleep on. We didn't use the other ones because we were only two people. After we booked, we learned that we had to bring our own sheets and towels because of the drought and covid. Having to bring sheets was not a thrill! Nor the cleanup after we got home. I would have appreciated this information BEFORE we booked. With some tender loving care, a deep cleaning, good living room furniture, and clean rugs, the house could be a winner. But right now, it seems dingy, slightly dirty, and very moldy.

Gorgeous location, access to a fantastic beach, the kitchen is well-appointed. Everyone from the 6 year old to the 73 year old loved it. Relaxed and fun decor. We hope to be back.

We keep coming back to this rental property because of the beach front location, size of the house, & hot tub overlooking the ocean. Dillon Beach is such a sleepy town, & we love feeling safe enough to leave the window open at night to listen to the crashing waves. Saw lots of deer by the house & whales at Bodega Head. Since we went in the spring, the hills were a glorious green peppered with farm animals. Loved walking along the shore to Lawson's Landing, as did the dogs enjoy being off leash & running freely. It's always great to come here to refresh & rejuvenate.

The location of this property is perfect for a northern California beach experience. The views of the ocean and beach are unobstructed and spectacular. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with easy beach access. This house is interesting, quirky and mostly fun. It also needs a good cleaning, new mattresses, new shower enclosures and some plumbing repairs. Of course, after doing that the rental rate would increase. On balance, a very good experience.

We have stayed at this beach house many times and keep coming back! The location is incredible: short walk to beach, beautiful views of the ocean---hot tub and swing with ocean views. Have stayed for family vacations & girl's weekends. Definitely recommend!

Great location and wonderful views. Deck on 3 sides and upstairs bedrooms can access it. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Also appreciated the toys, games, and books available for all ages.

Just what we like. Room for 10 people. Not modern. Perfect view of the beach, and easy to get to beach.

My family had a wonderful time at this property. The view was stunning and we loved how we could see it from both inside and outside on the wrap around deck. We felt cozy and comfortable except that the beds were too hard for our liking. We never got tired of looking at all the interesting artwork. We really liked that the table was big enough for all of us to fit around comfortably for eating and playing games together. Our daily strolls on the beach we’re Beautiful and we enjoyed the hiking trails that were nearby. I don’t know OK

This is a very fun house in the ideal location.

the views were breathtaking, the location prefect, off the beaten path so not crowded. the décor was a bit odd but was interesting to look at. The beds were way to hard for me but my husband loved it so I guess a matter of tasteCould of used better/bigger pots and pans, I was surprised there was not a lot of big pans for cooking as this place could house up to ten people. Over all had a great time. Were all ready planning a return trip.

Amazing location and views.

We had a great time at a perfect location on Dillon Beach. Be able to hear to waves crash against the rocks is the perfect sound. This was our second time at the house and plan on coming back. Only one problem, which was no fault of anyone's, the hot tub wasn't working. It broke the day before we arrived.

This house was great, very cozy and the oceanfront view is breathtaking. Wrap around deck was awesome and all three bedrooms open onto it. Lots of comfy couches to relax on by a very nice wood stove. The owner was very accommodating and helpful with all our questions. I would definitely stay here again.

The house had so much clutter there was nowhere to put our food and drinks. We had to live out of grocery bags and boxes for four days because there was absolutely no cupboard/shelf space for our food items. Ants infestation took up space on bar and climbed all over paper towels and coffee filters. The light above the kitchen sink is out. The smoke alarms had low batteries and beeped our entire four days. Owner may want to clear an area or two for guests to use. Family photos just aren't as precious to guests. Guests need space to place their own items. If you offer a washer and dryer, there should at least be detergent. No detergent means no laundry gets done. On the positive is the view, dolphins, deck. The swing downstairs is great.

This house exudes relaxation and has a wonderful family warmth about it. Oceanfront with stunning views are only superseded by the hottub literally on the ocean cliff; indescribably decadent to watch the sunset over the ocean in a private hottub! Very kid friendly; we'd definitely like to return given the opportunity!

Our stay at Marion's beach home was just perfect. Marion was thorough and very responsive in providing instructions and directions, and the home was well equipped for our family (with children). The beach was a very short hike down the cliff side path. The best part was having family dinners while watching the sun set over the pacific. The location was very convenient to Lawson's landing (for launching our boat). Thank you Marion!!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful beachfront home. It's very hard to get families together sometimes, but the entire crew made it, and b/c of our wonderful experience with the comfort of the home, the view of the ocean which includes sunrises and sunsets, not to mention the easy walk to the "almost" private beach, I can say we are definitely planning on making it an annual event. As a matter of fact, I have a girls weekend getaway we are planning and I'm going to highly encourage we rent this whimsical home! Please see my earlier review. This is our 2nd stay at this home and we happened to catch a heat wave the weekend we stayed. The home was fabulous (as usual) and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. I feel I will repeat my earlier review so I'll keep it short...

Had a delightful weekend enjoying the incredible views and perfect location at this Dillon home for the first time. Super comfortable and clean retreat with eclectic decor, fabulous floor-to-ceiling glass all around, bright and cheery. Main floor wraparound deck, fabulous "hidden from the world but view of the water and stars" hot tub, and really, everything you need to enjoy a stay. Great directions everywhere on how to use things, which is appreciated. Everyone said they slept SO soundly, the sound of the surf and comfortable beds did the trick. Getting up to the main living space does involve doing a set of stairs, but none in our group had any problem. The location is one of the best in all of Dillon, steps away from a short (sharply inclined) path directly down to the beach we (4 adults and 2 dogs) used each day - took maybe 10 minutes. (One of our group has a bad knee, we simply dropped her off in the public parking lot, met her on the beach.) Key for us was parking for 5 cars off street. The owner was super nice and helpful. Could not have asked for more other than an extra day of sunshine. Next time, would love to stay for a week! Thank you, Marion, for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful ocean-side vacation house. Gathered here with my family, and some friends, for Christmas. Very comfortable, bright and cheerful space for all of us. Great views of the beach and ocean through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors wrapping around the open living and dining rooms/kitchen. Very private. Loved sitting in the hot tub in the morning's first light, looking out over the ocean, listening to the surf. Showering outside. (Yes, there are indoor showers, too) Easy walk to the beach. Be sure to get oysters in nearby Marshall. Great for kids. Games, toys, and their own play space downstairs. Highly recommended.
