We adored this house from the decor to the comfortable beds. We loved how close we were to the beach and walked over both days during our stay. The general store and restaurant nearby was also convenient. There were some things we needed to note that can be improved. With the cleaning fee guests have to leave at the end of the their stay, the floors could have been cleaned better. Our feet were black from just walking around. The stove was sketchy - it took us several minutes to get it turned on after it made a loud bang noise, which was pretty scary. There was a dead bird on one of the chairs in the backyard when we arrived that my young son found and picked up, which was gross. There was no hot water during our entire trip so we had to shower in cold water, which wasn’t fun showering two young boys in. I’d also suggest updating the amenities of this listing to remove the lap pool as available. It wasn’t working during our stay and seems to be an issue with previous guests as well. Other than that, we loved the location and charm of the house.

more amenities than expected; in the kitchen.
The only downside was the pool was not working and the hot tub was perhaps leaking and could have been hotter. The 2 front burners on the stove were not working correctly.

Perfect relaxing beach getaway for my wife and I plus our dogs. House was charming and comfortable with nice amenities. The close proximity to the beach made for an easy walk and allowed multiple visits to the beach each day during our stay.

We had a perfect time here. This house has everything you might need, it's SUPER functional and also very simple, clean, + well designed. The backyard with pool + jacuzzi was wonderful to have. We walked to the beach every morning + was a great jumping point to go grab breakfast/lunch in occidental/tomales. We will be back again + again!

Much to our disappointment, we had to cut our trip short to a single night although we ultimately paid for the two nights we originally booked. The reason was our diabetic and blind dog developed complications and we had to get him back to the vet. The Pink House was otherwise a very nice property with great access to the beach. We did encounter some initial problems with the Wi-Fi and a technician had to come out to restore the system around 8pm that evening. Normally, this wouldn't have been a big deal except our daughter had been planning on finishing up some college course assignments that required on-line research and were due that evening. The only other thing is that it seemed a bit quirky that the only television was located in the bedroom rather than a common area but we weren't there to watch TV so it wasn't that big of a deal. All in all, an enjoyable property and a big shout-out to Linda, the property manager, for being responsive and understanding to our needs.

The property was very clean and spacious. We loved having the patio in front and in back. We have rented in Dillon Beach for 30 years and this home had the nicest amenities. The property manager, Linda, was very responsive to all our questions. We will definitely rent again!

This light-filled gem is gorgeous. A pink beach-themed cottage with just the right touches to enhance the gorgeous view. Yes, this cottage is in the village, but the view is spectacular. Would 100% recommend!

We loved our three night stay at Jim’s beautiful pink house! The location was great, quick walk to the store and the beach. The bed was so comfortable! The hot tub was amazing and the outside shower has warm water! We made breakfast and dinner at home and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The lap pool wasn’t available the first day but the owner was amazing and offered us an extra night. Sadly, we had already made dinner plans but he let us have a late check out so we weren’t rushed packing and getting ready to head out. We would definitely stay again. Can’t beat the location and the views.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this rental- everything was clean, the bed is super comfortable, and the hot tub was a dream during the cold windy weather we had. Can’t recommend enough- the property manager was also so responsive and kind!

My family and I loved our early mornings in the hot tub with coffee. Short walk to the beach with our dogs. We had great weather for hiking, flying kites, volleyball and bonfire on the beach! We will be back. We fell on love with Dillon Beach!

The pink house was our home over a holiday weekend. It's a short walk from Dillon Beach. and from the local store that had everything you might need including espresso and frozen yogurt.
The house had everything we need. The living room was sparse with no TV. There is a bunk bed in the common area next to the oddly laid out kitchen. The lap pool in the back was not functional, maybe due to season. Despite these downs, the quirky kitchen had what we needed including an awesome stove, the bedroom was beyond comfortable with a TV, the hot tub fabulous especially on a cold winter night.
We definitely had an unforgettable, magical stay in the pink house.

We love this property, even more so after this week’s stay. A bomb cyclone storm was due but we went anyway. Linda, the property manager, warned us of possible power outages. When we did lose power Linda came out in the storm to bring us a lantern and candles. She then checked in to make sure we had enough wood for the amazing wood burning stove. All this made our for a serene, relaxing and cozy stay. Thank you Linda!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property at Dillon Beach. We were there to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves and we did just that. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, we enjoyed the hot tub every morning in the crisp air and enjoyed the pool in the mid afternoon heat after walking up and down the beach with our dog. Thanks for allowing us to make memories at this beautiful home.

Quaint but not real cozy
It’s a cute little house but not real comfortable in the family room area . A coffee table would be nice or outtomans to put your feet on would be nice & some area rugs . It’s kindif a cold feeling in there . For the price of this place the lap pool should be fixed & the faucet & sink in the kitchen area need work . The bedroom was nice & comfy ! .

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. The home is right in town near the store and beach. We enjoyed the hot tub too. Found delicious food: breakfast at Estero Cafe, lunch at Nick’s Cove and dinner at Lucas Wharf.

Beach Cottage
The location of this house was a delightful three minute walk from the beach. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the back and front patios. If you want to sleep in, bring an eye mask because the house gets bright when the sun comes up. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, and there are plenty of towels for the hot tub and pool. We had a great weekend!

A wonderful beach cottage
This was the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. It is just as advertised (maybe even better) - light, clean, well-stocked, so tastefully decorated, beautiful views, and a short walk to the beach. The hot tub was fantastic in the February cold. We would love to come back during a warmer month because the back deck is large and beautiful and would be perfect for a meal outside. We had a wonderful stay and we hope to come back.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
The Good. Great location and view. Nice modern appointments.
The Bad. Incorrect phone number for property manager. Had to message host to get number.
No heat or hot water. Plumber was called. Could not fix. Messaged the host several times, no response. Communicated to the host and property manager we would leave in the morning. No response from host. Property manager called. Spent the first night with no heat (got down to the mid 30s) and no hot water. Next morning, first thing, plumber arrives around 8:30.
The Ugly. Plumber turns off water around 9:00 without notice. No water for drinking, no water to use toilet, no water for my two Labs. Had to go to the General store for water.
Spoke to property manager before leaving. PM indicated had messaged host about the situation. The response “BUMMER” Left that morning. Request total reimbursement. Traveled there to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Disappointed is an understatement. Terrible experience using VBRO our first time, most likely our last.
