My fiancé and a group of about 10 of his friends stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate his bachelor trip. They had the best time!!!! What a great house for our large group. Plenty of room to spread out, great location, beautiful view, GREAT game room, and thoughtful touches. Great for children. It's the total package. We really enjoyed our stay. Robert & Debbi were great hosts & very responsive. We'll be back! :-)

I must start off and say that the pics of this home do not do it justice. This house is amazing and my family loved it. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out when the weather kept us inside and a great gameroom. The lake was great (although i would trim the willow tree at the dock) and we really wished we had the weather to take better advantage of the property. The home is very convenient to Helen and the surrounding areas, everything we wanted to see was no more then 15 minutes away.

Property location is very zen. Calm, relaxing, peaceful, yet close to Helen, GA and other activities. Game room is great! Pool, ping pong, air hockey, poker, and other board games. Property owner and property managers are easily accessible and responsive.

Our family of 9 adults enjoyed the spacious home and game room. We enjoyed Mt Yonah nearby for a day hike, Helen, GA shops and small wineries. The game room kept us all entertained when it was chilly and rainy outside and the pond with row boat kept us busy when it warmed up a little. My oldest son caught a nice bass in the back right side of the pond (he released it) We likely would stay here again if we visit the Helen area. Plenty of room and plenty to do in a relaxing way.

Very impress with the retreat home, the home was clean and spacious. It was well stocked and everything was organized in the kitchen and bathroom. The property manager and the owners were pleasant and kind. The only down side is that on the last day there were issues with the water well so water supply was slim to none. Overall it was a great place.

Home is beautiful, neat, clean, quiet. The location feels remote but is close to Helen, GA. We enjoyed the Yonah Mountain Winery and Pizza in Helen.
We enjoyed the game room which is a separate building from the house. We enjoyed playing ping pong and billiards.
The reservation process was smoothe and easy. Owners are very friendly and accomodating.
We came here for the same retreat the year prior to COVID and had reservations for when everything shut down, so we had to cancel. There was no problem there what soever.
I would recommend to anyone who asks.

Relaxing and lovely !
The Cameron House Retreat was an ideal place for our extended family to gather from 3 states and enjoy one another ! This beautiful property had plenty of room for the 12 of us to spread out and enjoy our privacy but also many spaces to gather and eat a meal , play games or enjoy the Georgia mountains - especially Mt Yonah - magnificent ! We went into Helen to eat a couple of meals and drove to two waterfalls/ hikes . We enjoyed using the hot tub , large gas grill and the game room was the perfect place for our 3 nephews to hang out ! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious with such interesting decor ! What a special place !

Our family had a fun reunion at Cameron Retreat House!
We ranged in age from 2.5 to 72 years and this property was perfect for all ages! We especially loved the game room and sitting on the deck watching the sunset and stars come out in the evening. Such a wonderful home to relax in but plenty of activities close by, as well. The beautiful Anna Ruby Falls, the Tantrum Brewery and the Cabbage Patch Hospital in Cleveland were easy to visit. The owners were so helpful in answering our questions. We are very appreciative of their hospitality!

Baseball getaway
Everything about this house was perfect! We were coming up for a baseball tournament in the area, and it gave us the opportunity to be close to the fields and have access to go into Helen. We came up with a few families and a handful of teammates and would not have changed a thing! We cannot wait to come back.

We loved the house, location, scenery. Our family enjoyed the game room very much. It was centered between Cleveland and Helen.
The only problem we encountered was the grill did not work, but we bought one that worked perfectly.

Wonderful Family Getaway
We had a fantastic time at the Cameron House! Our party included my parents, my husband and our two kids (age 6 and 8), and my sister and her two kids (age 2 and almost 1) and there was something for everyone. The kids loved the provided books and toys and having their own room upstairs. We highly recommend a stay here.

We had a great time at this house! The game room is awesome! Smores at the firepit, a boat ride on the water, convenient location to Helen, I mean what more can you ask for? Oh yeah, to relax in the hot tub to end your awesome day! The hosts really go the extra step, so many nice touches, It's the little thoughtful things that make them great hosts.

Beautiful mountain retreat!
This was a beautiful property with a lot of charm and has amazing view of Mount Yonah! My family had a great time at this house and enjoyed spending time up in Helen which is just a short drive. We spent a little time on the pond fishing, enjoyed the game room, and the home was great. The trickle of the little mountain stream into the pond is a sound that is well worth a visit to this quiet mountain getaway.

Excellent holiday getaway
Great amenities. Ample space for 14 people with many teens. We used everything from the game room, to the paddle boats to the hot tub. Made s’mores, drank wine outside on the deck, watched Christmas movies on multiple TVs. We even cooked a prime rib. We went into Helen for fun and enjoyed the close proximity to things to do. ONLY drawback was some of the beds are in need of replacing and sink in the middle and the WiFi was slow and difficult to do work on laptops. Owners were attentive and friendly and even came by to get something while we were there so we met them.

Great family Thanksgiving
Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Cameron House Retreat. The house was spotless and was the best stocked rental home we have visited. The owner was responsive to questions that we had prior to our stay and checked in to see if we needed anything. The views were spectacular from the large deck with hot tub.. The fire pit beside the lake was a highlight at sunset for s’mores! We had beautiful weather for the kids to enjoy the new swing set and run off energy in the safe flat yard. Amazing getaway in the woods!
We loved staying here so much! The house is so cute and inviting, layout is really unique and fit all our guests super well. Everything you need in the kitchen stocked, plenty of toilet paper, towels, trash bags etc. The hosts were so lovely to work with and made everything super easy beginning with a phone call upon arrival and walk through of the house and all the features! I especially loved how they had the hot tub going and ready for us upon arrival! Lots of firewood available to use in the fireplace as well. There’s even a neat area down by the lake with fire pit and sitting area. This was exactly what you think of when wanting a cabin getaway with all your friends. We didn’t have children on this trip but it would have easily accommodated children really well as well with lots of toys, stuffed animals, books, and cute nick nacks that are conveniently placed throughout the house but not at all distracting to the ambience for an adult getaway either. Loved this place. Will definitely come back!

Perfect vacation
This house and it's location is a gem!! Perfect for all ages. We were 4 families with a 4 month old baby, up to 15 year old( plus the parents of course) and everything in between, amd everybody had a blast. Hiking, fishing, cook out by the lake, game room at night time, walking through the town of Helen etc.
The hosts were very kind ans sweet and also helpful. Even drove to the house to make sure we are doing good and not missing anything. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us, we are looking forward to come back again !

Great Family Weekend!
The whole experience was very easy. We came to the area for Octoberfest and the location of the property to Helen was very convenient. We rode our motorcycles down from Chattanooga and had plenty of room to park, the road in was gravel but very well kept with no problems. The home was so much more than advertised. We are planning on making this an annual trip and would love to have the home again

One of the best vacation rentals around
Robert and Debbie were amazing from the beginning. They were quick to reply, understanding and easy to work with, even when we asked for an early check in time. They even thought to call while we were there to make sure we were okay. The thoughtfulness of Robert and Debbie goes above and beyond any property owner I’ve ever rented from in the past. Fabulously decorated home, every time I thought I had seen it all, I saw another decoration that I loved. The home is comfortable, cozy, has plenty of space and perfect for any small or large group. Everything you need is provided. The detached game room is an extra special treat that we really enjoyed. We would absolutely spend time again at the Cameron House Retreat. Five Stars!
