Perfect for a work away from home

Our host greeted us and gave us an informational tour of the property, a very helpful touch. The property was very clean, and host even indicated we could us the gas barbeque grill on the outside deck, however, we did not have time to use it on this trip, but I thought it was a very nice offer.

Then she told me that she was in California that she had the garage door opener and she wouldn’t be back until Saturday!(This was Friday ) we had the house booked for Friday and Saturday. We needed the garage for parking a new car that’s the reason we choose this place the garage. She said I had to meet her husband to go over more rules and instructions for the property. This wasn’t on the listing either. So I told her that I didn’t want to have to meet her whole family all weekend that it was supposed to be contactless code entry. She argues with me I asked her to cancel the reservation so I can get a refund she tells me no that I have to cancel. But if. I did I wouldn’t get my money. Well she never gives me the code I call her and her husband to get the code at 12 am cause I couldn’t reach her and when I couldn’t find a hotel she finally calls me and tells me no I can’t have the code. I called and sent customer service pics of our conversation and they gave me 2 complimentary rooms for the terrible listing and the inconvenience of this lady. And hours later the home owner messaged me on the app that my reservation was canceled due to a party. Weird I couldn’t even get into the property. I still have no refund and didn’t get to stay at the property as well as a ruined weekend with my family. This lady is out of control. I didn’t stay at the property cause her listing was not the same as what she was demeaning I do. As well as she had the garage door opener with her and said she would bring it the next day. Well that right there is her not able to fulfill what was on her listing. Horrible horrible listing and still no refund.

Renting this property was seamless. Susan made sure we were comfortable with the property and it worked out great for us.

This house was very clean and well decorated. We had to move some things to keep them from our grandkids and there were closets to hide the delicate items from peering eyes. Our hostess was very responsive to our needs and gave us good recommendations on groceries, parks, and left some stuffed animals, toys, and even a gate for the kids. We enjoyed our stay in this friendly neighborhood.

Can't say enough about Susan she went out of her way for us. Great property and easy in and out. LOVED OUR STAY

We had a great time staying at Susan’s place! It was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed eating most of our meals in. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, I took many walks. The only suggestion I might have is curtains in the two bedrooms where there are only mini blinds, the sun beams in and woke us up, wasn’t a huge deal as we left early for ballgames most mornings. I would recommend this house and will stay again if we return to Omaha. Thank you Susan for the great stay!!

Other than the location being a bit remote from Charles Schwab field, this was a great staging option for my 3 brothers, 1 nephew and me, as we went into Omaha for the opening weekend of the Men's College World Series games on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Susan and Tim were wonderful hosts…we enjoyed the use of the garage opener. We had the family over for a small picnic and we all enjoyed the backyard. The house is well stocked and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Easy to get to and everything you need is close by! We will come back again! P.S. we loved the welcome sign in the garage…

Pleasant home in Omaha for a family or group of friends!

We had a great stay at this house in Omaha. The property is very clean, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay! The property manager is very responsive, and super welcoming! We will certainly book again in the future!

Very clean and the location was great. Easy to get on the interstate to get to anywhere in town with all of the necessities nearby! House had everything we needed to stay comfortably. Check in could be improved without a face to face. We would prefer a contactless check-in.

After seeing many positive reviews, , we were shocked with our experience. We missed the reviews that referenced the "extensive" & "intrusive check-in" process. I've copied 1 below--as our experience was the same. A few callouts: 1) There's no King Bed. We specifically booked for it. Later Susan claimed that 2 separate twin beds, (separate) count. They do not. This is false advertising 2) Check-in. As vacation rental owners ourselves, we understand taking pride in your house. However, as parents with a toddler/infant, and it being your first night alone in 6 months, and you just want to finally sleep, having her spend what would have been an hour to show you everything in the house and how to use it, was insane. We attempted multiple times to bring it to a close, but she was insistent. To the point that when my husband said, "I'm exhausted, I'm going to bed now... 'goodnight' ... she followed him into the bedroom to keep explaining things. She then wanted to take our pictures. If you've got time & like hands on, you'll enjoy your hour + checkin. Otherwise, this is your WARNING. 3) Smoke. Not sure if she fixed it or not. BUT the house clearly had been smoked in. Both my husband and I have smoke allergies. We opened the window to try to air it out, but no use. Our eyes watered after being there for a short-time and we started getting headaches. We booked a hotel, didn't stay, and left shortly after she finally left. Pros: The house itself looked well decorated and stocked--if she fixes the smoke, you don't need a king, and you don't mind the checkin, it's probably great. Other Review: ***What I did not like was the extensive check in process which was done in person with the property owner. I have stayed at multiple vacation rental properties in the past, and have never actually met a property owner/manager in person, let alone to have had to spend 1 hour plus with them going over every detail of the home. Some people may appreciate the hands on approach, but I felt it was intrusive. The owner literally went through the entire book with us step by step, and made sure we understood all of the things that could break in the house if we didn't operate them properly (i.e. put the couch recliners down using the handle, the refrigerator door, the chairs on the deck-don't rock in them, the dining room table - don't put anything hot or cold on it that would make a white ring-use these trivets) and what it would cost if we did break them. ***

House was in immaculate shape and very clean. Lots of room for everyone to have a place to enjoy their own entertainment. Property manager was very nice and thorough in her check-in.

Susan's house is very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. She met us upon arrival, even though it was after midnight, to provide instructions and access to her home. The two living areas provided plenty of space for a family of four, including two who were working remotely during a portion of the stay.

Comfortable beds. Plenty of bath towels. Very spacious with the two living rooms. Utilized the gas fireplace in the evenings. Very well stocked in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms. Lots of little extras. The garage was a plus as could enter the house thru garage. Susan accommodated our schedule and did a thorough walk thru with us. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very nice home to stay in! Very clean and has everything you will need. Susan was very understanding when we had to cancel our first reservation and rescheduled our visit. All the comforts of home! Very responsive to our family. I will say it’s not ideal for little kids. Our 1 & 2 year old grandbabies came over the first night and I was so afraid they would break something or spill something so after that, we just went to their house. Thank you Susan for the nice accommodations!

Great home , great host

This was a cute and nice "home base" for our family road trip to Omaha. Two adults plus three kids between ages 3 and 9 fit just fine.

Susan has an immaculate home and we could all spread out and relax in our own bedrooms but still be together for meals. This was a perfect location for us because the home was close to our family. Susan is very prompt to respond to any inquiries. She even provided coffee! Thanks for helping make our brief visit a great time!

Everything was great!

Our host takes pride in this property . I found it refreshing that she was there to great us and walked us thru the property. The house was spotlessly clean. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. The Omaha weather was extremely hot (105 degrees) and all the home’s mechanicals did a great job keeping us comfortable .

The property was fantastic loved it

This was a great property. The home is well equipped and it is the first rental we have stayed in that provided enough towels for our entire stay. We did not have to wash towels while we were here. This home met all our needs. Susan was really great to work with and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for a great experience .
