The place is absolutely amazing with a nice pool and not far from the beach. Meals are very well cooked and portions are huge. Alex is always on site making sure every guest is fully satisfied. This property has by far the best management standards which you can barely find in Kenya in general with very well trained staff.

We had an amazing stay, this hotel is the perfect place to relax. The rooms are big and confortable, the pool is amazing, the food is delicious and the staff is really friendly. The hotel is located just a few meters from the beach. Alex, the GM can organise really nice excursions and he makes sure you will have a great stay. We definitely recommend this hotel

Alex the owner leaves no stone unturned for you. He dedicates alot to make sure have the best time there. He even gave us a room upgrade for free!

Great food, great staff, free and reliable wifi. Kids loved the pool! Very clean.

Breakfast was perfect and location was great. Most of all though was the staff. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Alex was absolutely amazing, The whole experience felt like we were home away from home. Loved it.

We had a great time at the Villa. Alex the Manager picked us up personaly at the airport . He made sure we had everything we were in need of. He also drove us back to the Airport . George the weiter was helpfull, he made sure our food came on time. Saumu and Esther made sure our rooms were clean. Thank you!

No tvs in the rooms, but it is not that important

The room was spacious and clean... Meals were amazing... Beautiful ambience... Everything Splendid!!!! You have to be there to experience... Alex went the extra mile on my request!!

The villa has only few rooms, so you have your own privacy. Rooms and bathrooms are huge with plenty of storage. Fridge with drinks in the room is big bonus. GM (Alex) and staff will do their best to make your stay perfect. Examples: we could do late checkout without any extra change, staff prepared meals for our kid anytime during day.. etc. They can also organize trips for you (hell's kitchen, Watamu, boat trips, etc.) for the best price. The breakfast and dinner are outstanding -> plenty choices for breakfast, fresh juice, 4 course dinner We have never stayed in better property. The Villa is not beachfront, but you can use sunbeds at beach for free + you don't have wind & sand in the garden.

Excellent well managed place! Alex, the manager, is going out of his way to make you feel comfortable. Food is very well cousined by Mr Jakson with staff. Spotless and clean place just a few minutes from a nice calm and clean beach where you can have lunch and relax under a palmtree during the hot mid-day hours. Very beautiful garden and pool area. Fully recomend this place! We actually choosed to return for a few more days after moving to a different hotel in Watamu which was a great dissapointment. Peter from Sweden.

I cannot express how lovely our stay at Villa malindi was. The host Alex went above and beyond to make sure we were well tended. We saw beautiful beaches, enjoyed 5 star quality food and service, washing our laundry daily was a wonderful bonus.Tge rooms are beautifully decorated and the wifi is exceptionally good. I loved that it's a small intimate hotel especially during this covid time, very definitely recommend this hotel if you want a carefree and top notch holiday experience.

We just loved our stay at Villa Malindi. The place is just wonderful. The room was exquisite. All staff were more than attentive to all our needs and were always available to help. The food was great and beyond expectation for hotel food. It was always fresh and well prepared, seasoned well, and served very professionally. The manager was available to help and take one to town when his schedule permitted, arranged for the necessary COVID test, and did all else to make our stay a great one. Would love to go back to Villa Malindi and meet the long-serving staff again. Thank you all, it was wonderful!!!

Everything. This place has gotten very good reviews already, but still exceeded our expectations. This is a small quiet boutique hotel and is very different from large hotel chains I've experienced. Since it was not very busy it almost felt like we had our private staff. Especially Alex the GM is very attentive and makes sure pretty much everything is perfect 24/7. He had great sight seeing recommendations and provided shuttle service himself to excursions for reasonable fees. The food was excxeptional. There is no buffet, both breakfast and the 4-course dinner (which had multiple options every night) were always made freshly when ordered, Wifi was flawless around the compound. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated rooms. Especially we appreciated the late check-out option, since our flight left late at night. Location is a 5-minute walk from the beach and to nice lunch options directly at the beach. Malindi stores and markets can be reached by a 5 minutes Tuktuk or shuttle ride.

The hotel is located 15 min drive from Malindi airport. The villa is hidden in the beautiful lush garden with two pools (baby and normal sized pool). Our room was very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated in mixture of lamu style with a huge gorgeous terrace overlooking the pool and the garden.The rooms and the property are very clean and taken care of. You have a breakfast and the dinner available, unfortunately during the day the kitchen is closed. The food was good, the bottles of water are available at any time for no additional fees. The manager is a very attentive and always ready to help. There are several excursions available and the massage option on request (which was great, btw). Actually only bad point of the property is that you have to cross the road in order to get to the beach. The staff is very friendly, incl. the manager. At this point i can say thank you for making our stay comfortable and relaxing as possible. Stay safe.

Great location, friendly staff

Food was below par, even though we were the only guest most of our stay, we didn’t get the privacy we wanted or the space to just relax.

Everything, location, food, the manager Alex who is really helpful and available. The employees are so professional, Villa Malindi is a gem.
