5 stars is not enough for this gem of a property. Above and beyond any and all expectations. Equipped and stocked with everything you could possibly need, and more. From the sheets and towels to the cooking and dining ware, it's all there and of the nicest quality. Multiple pages of laminated Information of things to do, places to eat, and maps to get you there. Ciella & Quincy thought of everything and were so very easy to make arrangements with and are super nice folks. Don't leave without strolling the garden path on the property, it is an absolutely gorgeous labor of love with amazing views at the end. About 10 minutes from town, but feels like a world away. Highly recommend and will definitely return if in the Boquete area again.

We had an excellent stay in the casita. The property is beautiful. And the host is very helpful. You are surrounded by nature. The views surrounding the property are breathtaking. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked nearly all our meals there.

You are in the mountains in a rural area of Panama, so you might have a power outage for a few minutes, but the hosts have provided lanterns for the few moments the power goes out.

A stay in the Cloud Forest
We stayed for 1 week in mid-October. The casita was in good shape, all the amenities working. The owner was away to the US, so all communications were through WhatsApp. Any technical/maintenance issues were relayed to her handyman and dealt with efficiently. During the rainy month of October, the altitude and microclimate resulted in more rain hours than experienced in Boquete and lower altitudes. During the dry months, I'm sure it is magic. The garden and grounds are a work of art.

Great Casita

Beautiful place, which was hard to leave.
Beautiful setting, lovely garden, and a terrace to enjoy it. The Casita is a private and tranquil place, perfect for nature lovers/bird watchers. The owners are very considerate and thoughtful by providing so many amenities, such as paper products and condiments, which was especially appreciated because I didn’t have a car and needed to carry groceries. The employees are friendly, helpful, and keep the buildings and property in excellent condition.

Such a lovely place. We stayed there 21 days while we were familiarizing ourselves with the area. Casita is so beautiful and relaxing.. It is comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. Owners helped us with taxi’s, realters, restaurants, car rentals, groceries and more. You will have a good time if you stay here.

Beautiful tiny home way up on Jamarillo
We had a wonderful time at La Casita! Very well equipped (kitchen, wifi), very comfortable, a cosy hideaway surrounded by lush green and beautiful flowers. Perfect for a couple. The hosts are absolutely fabulous! Eager to share recommendations and conversation about life in Boquete, but respectful of your privacy and need for solitude.. We rented a car for the week we stayed, and that was a great decision. We were able to explore the mountain neighbourhoods, and make it into town and back easily anytime we wanted. We highly recommend La Casita.

Lovely spot and gracious hosts.
The casita is bright and airy. It is fully equiped for cooking and has some toiletries supplied. Quincy gave us a food starter pack for breakfast. We are not sure if this is a common practice. We felt very welcome with what seemed like special treatment. We saw over a dozen bird species just off the patio. Keep the door closed because the hummers will come right in! You can walk to downtown but a taxi is recommended for the return trip up the hill. Milly's is a great salon just down the road from Romero's. The casita is close enough to enjoy Boquete but far enough to enjoy a glass of wine in the quiet of the garden. Thanks for presenting a fabulous place to stay.

The Hacienda is a jewel in the hills of Jaramillo Centro. We love the beauty of the manicured grounds and sounds of the flowing water creeks. We enjoyed the proximity of the town of Boquete with all the amenities and restaurants. The hosts are absolutely awesome with their attention to detail & warmth.

Great little place for a peaceful geataway
The casita is a great little efficiency guesthouse place to relax. It is close enough to Boquete to run into town for meals and light shopping, but far enough away to escape the same. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and if you throw out a little fruit the birds are interesting. Ciella and Quincy are excellent hosts, and respect your privacy in the casita, but if they see you outside, they are warm and friendly and willing to give you any information about Panama and the area you would want. If you want to experience Boquete but still want to get away to someplace quiet when you don't want the traffic and hustle/bustle, this is the place for you. There is only one bed, so it probably would not be good for a family.

Hosts You Want to Adopt You
We couldn't have asked for a nicer introduction to Boquete. Quincy came to pick us up after a long day on two buses and a hasty dash through the local grocery for supplies. He drove us up a 45 degree "shortcut" to the hacienda and safely deposited us in our new home away from home. Even though our package was not B&B, we were invited to breakfast before Ciella drove us south of town so we could pick up our rental vehicle.
Obviously a 45 degree angle shortcut means the hacienda is on the high ground and it is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and a tumbling creek that keeps you wondering whether it is raining or not. The accommodations worked great for us and you couldn't ask for more gracious hosts.
We are post sixty travelers and recommend this spot to everyone.

Wonderful
The Casita proved to be the cozy, comfy, private spot we hoped to find. With bonuses!! The deck; an incredible variety of birds entertained us each morning over coffee, amazing tropical foliage, bananas within arms reach and a beautiful stone path thru the garden. Pick-a-boo views of Volcan Baru. In the evening we were mesmerized by huge lightning bugs!! A short walk down the road reveals the lights of Boquete. Ceillia was in the states taking care of family matters, that left Quincy with host duties. Did a great job, checked on us to insure we had everything we needed or how to get it. He gave good recommendations and directions to nearby attractions. Helped us out when we lost our way to the hot springs. We very much enjoyed morning coffee and visiting with Quincy.
Would we recommend? O Yes. Likely to take advantage of this hospitality again

Loved every minute!
My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days in the Casita at The Hacienda in early April. It was our second visit, and we enjoyed it even more than the first! Quincy greeted us with hugs to welcome us back. The breakfast served there is absolutely delicious, including attention to dietary requests (gluten free). The Casita is full of comfortable touches like fresh filtered spring water, coffee and teas, a yoga mat, comfortable linens, high speed internet, umbrellas, just to name a few! Quincy drew a detailed map for us for a day trip to Cerro Punta and Guadalupe (we had our own rental car from the airport at David) with tips on highlights to stop along the way. The Hacienda property is a haven of beauty with paths along the creek bed, palm and banana trees and benches to sit and watch the birds and butterflies that abound. It is very private and safe. I wish I could give it ten stars! If you are looking for a really nice place to stay in Boquete, this place is ideal. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed at the Casita in March. This beautiful little spot has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, good bed, two lovely outside sitting areas plus an enchanting garden filled with so many birds. Quincey and Ciella are wonderful and attentive to your every need. BEAUTIFUL CASITA
The Casita at The Hacienda was a beautiful place to stay! Our host and hostess, Quincy and Celia were full of info about the surrounding area, even writing out a map to help us find the Hot Springs at Caldera! The drive up the mountain could be a little daunting, but for anyone with an adventuress nature it's all good! Sitting on the beautiful balcony every morning drinking coffee was like a little slice of heaven! The surrounding grounds, trails, and gardens were quite lovely! I would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend The Casita at The Hacienda!

Lovely spot, great little Casita
Overall we loved our stay here, however, there were several small things that added up in the 10 days we stayed. Our hosts Quincy and Celia were away when we first arrived and they entrusted our arrival to a friend who hadn't been properly prepared. The WiFi was not working, the local cell phone neither. There was no coffee for the morning (as promised) and it is long ride into town. Later in the week the door lock stopped functioning as well.
We were able to get in touch and they were very responsive trying to fix things, calling us back many times. The Casita is new, fresh, well appointed with everything and feels nicely separate from the main house. It is only a few months old and there is still a shakedown cruise in process but we would recommend it highly.

Magical!
My husband and I stayed at the Casita in early December 2015. Ciella and Quincy were like meeting up with dear friends. They are warm and accommodating beyond anywhere we have ever stayed. The attention to detail was as if they were reading our minds! From the escort down in Boquete up to their magical property, to the gourmet breakfasts-she even made a special trip to the bakery for gluten free breads-to the lush green trails full of flowers and lovely little nooks to hang out in, we were completely blown away. It is everything as advertised and more. The casita is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Cupboards are stocked with everything you need. We made dinner in at least 3 nights during our 9 day stay. It is private and quiet, except for an occasional barking dog, but they even supply ear plugs for that! Thank you, Quincy & Ciella for creating that peaceful and magical haven. We highly recommend the casita. We will definitely be back!
