warm welcome, friendly host, secure parking beautiful views of sea & lake - lovely to watch the fishermen & the birds & the family going about their daily business close to some lovely little cafes/ restaurants the room was clean, comfortable, hot water, good ac, quiet area & nice keralan breakfast great value for money - thank you

The facilities inside the room. No almirah was provided for clothes. Tea kettle should be provided. Facilities for lunch and dinner on payment must be given

Beautiful room in a beautiful house. Location was fantastic and the view of the lake at the back was stunning. The walk to the tropical beach at the front was 4 minutes! How can you beat that? About 40 restaurants within a 15 minute stroll. Our hosts were brilliant,even lending us their own personal scooter and providing a great breakfast unexpectedly.

I honestly can't think of anything bad to put here.

Breakfast was very poor. Looked like people were in a hurry to make us move out. Don't go by the pictures on their site.May be good if you are travelling with friends but certainly will not advise with family.

Took a long time to clean up the rooms while we were kept waiting. The lady kept hounding me to pay advance & that there were other customers waiting in the Q. Did not have enough towels, toiletries. Tea served was horrible, breakfast was bad no options -Appam & a watery stew!!

Quiet location twixt deserted beach & backwater. Spotlessly clean, cmfy bed & friendly staff. Short walk to a small selection of bars/ resturaunts serving variety of great seafood. Highly recommended if the relentless commercialisation of Goa disappoints. Highly friendly locals. Recommended

Host is very welcoming, helpfull and go to the extra to make sure we are happy. Location straight on to the backwaters on one side for a peaceful rest watching the Fish Eagles and the sea accross the road for a quick dip. The place is clean and very quiet. Great South Indian breakfast with appam and dhosas which I love.

Nothing that I can think of

Heart warming welcome by the host Nisha, personal space was there. We went there as a couple and it was lovely staying. Nisha specially called once just to check if we were okay as it was late night and we were out. The place had lake on one side and a rock beach on the other. Cherai is a beautiful location over all.

The view to lake was beautiful.

Overall experience was really good. both side balcony, one facing to the beach and rear side balcony facing the lake. There is a beautiful courtyard with an elevated deck, nearby a hammock and seating area facing the lake view. My friends really enjoyed the stay. Owner/care taker Nisha was really helpful with everything. She took care of them very nicely. My friends from Mumbai stayed there with well comfort and peaceful. They were three people and got extra bed with a minimum extra charge. Everything was really good to them as they really liked the stay.

Food was not provided from the resort, for food we should order from outside. But the resort can arrange the menu and we can order food or can go out and eat. All food facility was very close to the stay and facing the beach .

Excellent facility with beach view and lake view. Very hygiene, friendly staffs. Especially great support by Nisha. If some one who interested on fishing, get your fishing tackles and have fun.
