Howdy Half-Acre tiene acceso rápido a Texas Avenue y Hwy 6, pero se asienta en medio acre con robles, bordeados por un arroyo y un cinturón verde para la paz y la tranquilidad.

Home away from home! The attention to detail and plentiful instructions were so helpful and appreciated. Our son is a fish in the Corp of Cadets, and we came down to watch him march and provide a home cooked dinner for him--and a place for him and a few buddies to have some time off the Quad. The huge living area was a great place for them to relax. I enjoyed hearing them laugh about their stories from the week. What a squared away group of young men. The new gas grill was perfect for grilling and the kitchen oven worked great for making cookies. It was very clean and cozy. My 8 month old grandson was fascinated with the birds in the morning in the back yard. Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again. Felt like a home—extremely clean & well-stocked in the kitchen, bathroom. Lots of towels & sheets, etc. The house has big closets and plenty of floor space for air mattresses and plenty of seating. The backyard truly is the best for bird watching—our 3-7 year old grandchildren totally enjoyed spotting & hearing all the birds. The deck is huge & would be great for grilling. We also appreciate that all instructions were detailed and thorough. Location was perfect for us.

We celebrated a birthday with friends and family, and had a great time at the Aggie Half Acre. My daughter attends TAMU, (WHOOP!) and we had friends and family in town that stayed here.
We had a great stay and will stay again. Jane was very reaponsive and accommodating, and the home is well appointed for what you need amd more.
The beds are comfy, the space is comfy and clean, and the neighborhood is great. There is ample parking, and we felt very safe.

We stayed for a weekend to attend the Troubedore Festival. Almost all of us were alum from A&M (all except my husband!) We had such a good time. The house fit all of our needs and the owners thought of everything. They had directions for when something may be in question and labels to help us locate and identify what we needed. As described, accurate photos. Very clean, well-maintained, well-provisioned home. No issues while we were there - everything worked and was labelled. Excellent communication, accommodating host. House at end of cul-de-sac with large, private backyard. Close to Kroger's & nice park nearby. Not close to campus, but very close to family for us. Would stay again if family remains in same neighborhood.

We had a great stay in College Station and a big part was the Howdy Half Acre. Communication was great and the house was the perfect set up. Location is great as its close to restaurants, shopping, and Kyle Field. Will stay here again next time we come into town for a game.

Welcome Respite
Our family was in town for a funeral. This home was the perfect place to recover at from a difficult weekend. The large living room, well appointed kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms were appreciated! The backyard is huge and peaceful. The owner has provided so many amenities that make you feel at home. It was nice to have laundry available too. The neighborhood is nice and quiet as well. Highly recommend!

The rental was exactly what we needed for our little family celebration. Jane was quick to respond, and the place was perfect. The large backyard was perfect for the kids to run around and let out some energy.

The best rental we have stayed in
This property is amazing. She was so easy to work with. We rented for our Aggie daughters ring weekend. It was exact what we needed with the huge deck and big back yard. The house suited our family and friends so well who came to celebrate with her. All the rooms are so nice, the entire house was awesome and there wasn’t anything missing in the kitchen. She included breakfast and all kinds of coffees. We will definitely stay here again.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive prior to our stay. The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We hosted our engagement party and couldn’t have had a better time. I will be trying my best to book this home again on my next College Station trip.

Highly recommend
Howdy Half Acre was exactly as advertised. No disappointments. Nice neighborhood. Clean, quite home with nice backyard. We really appreciated the adult twin beds room. Usually the twin beds are kid style or bunks, not suitable for mature guest. These were just right for our group. We will definitely try to book again for our next College Station trip. And did I mention the complimentary bottle of wine? Also wonderful!

Great Place in Aggieland!
Great place to stay - clean, quiet, and roomy! After spending a day tailgating, cheering on the Aggies and enjoying College Station, this was a great place to retreat to each night.
The house was fantastically decorated, clean and had all of the home essentials that one would need - our stay felt like home. We also had great communication and instructions which took out any guesswork when trying to figure out cleaning up and what to do as tenants.
10/10 would recommend! Gig’em!

Perfect family getaway!
Very clean and awesome for a family visit to College Station. The large backyard was a great place for my boys to play catch and run around playing tag. The location was very convenient to access the highway and to get around town very easily.

Ring Dunk Weekend
We had an amazing weekend and this was the perfect location for our small ring dunk. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They had so many fun Aggie trivia and tidbits all over the house that enhanced our experience. We will definitely be back for some football games next year!

Great place for a group
My groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of sleeping space. The large living room and back porch were great for hanging out.

Spacious home with nice touches
We booked Howdy Half Acre at the last minute. The Hosts were very accommodating with our short notice booking. The Howdy Half Acre is an older home which has been updated. The main living area is spacious and great for larger groups. There's no Cable TV so consider bringing a Roku, Amazon Fire stick or other VPN. Although we didn't cook the kitchen, it seemed to have everything you'd need. There were also several nice touches, such as a Keurig with lots of pods and the complimentary Messina Hoff wine. All in all, a very comfortable place to stay when you're in Aggieland!

Perfect Place!
This house is very clean and the owners have thought of all the little details to make your stay perfect. Little things like making sure there were toiletries, leaving breakfast in the fridge, snacks in the pantry, a bottle of complimentary wine, and huge variety of coffee pods that had the college kids impressed!
The 1/2 acre lot provided ample privacy- you can't even see the neighbors houses when you are in the backyard. There were ample chairs outside and we sat around the fire pit both nights we were there. The quant little creek that runs through the back of the property was a nice touch and made you feel like you were away from civilization.
This is a great house and property. The description on the page describes it perfectly. We enjoyed it completely and don't have any complaints!

The Lyon's were super helpful & welcoming. The house was stocked & ready for our stay!! They were super helpful & easy to communicate with. We hosted our ring dunk this weekend & enjoyed every minute of it! The house is in a wonderful location and the backyard is beautiful!! If we ever need a rental house again, we will book this one!!
