My husband, our 9yr old, a few of my siblings, and my parents stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It has been a bucket list that our mom has always wanted to do as a family, a Hocking HillsThanksgiving. It was absolutely beautiful. The house had everything we needed for a delicious dinner together, plenty of room to spread about, and the feel of home away from home. We had so much fun laughing together and making memories to last a lifetime. Definitely would recommend staying here!!

Perfect location to unplug and unwind! House was bigger than you'd think from the pictures, and perfect for a group getaway with lots of space for both gathering and hiding away!

We had an amazing time. Everything was as pictured. Room for everyone to relax after a day out on the motorcycles.

The home had adequate space to accommodate our large family. The quick access to a walking trail and the lake was awesome. It was nice to be able to relax and enjoy nature with the comfort of a home. The well stocked kitchen was suitable for any meal prep. Also, the owner was very responsive in the lead up to checkin and during the check out process.

I hosted a bachelorette for the weekend & we had a great time. Lots of space, fully stocked house, beautiful area & property. I will definitely be going back another time.

The place was very nice. It was dated but still very nice. There were only two things I was disappointed in. The outlets, there were very few three prong outlets. And trash; for a house that size they really needed more, larger and more secured trash cans outside of the house. We had to pick up trash around the trash cans several times because of the raccoons. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay again. The house felt relaxing and felt very welcoming.

Our week spent in Glouster was very relaxing! Even though it rained several days of our stay we were able to visit Hocking Hills, the local golf course, hike the trail through the woods play many games of cornhole and kayak on Burr Oak Lake. The house was very, very spacious - the bedrooms large, well stocked kitchen, and huge living and family rooms with plenty of seating! One group could be playing cards at the large dining room table, others watching a movie and still others reading or putting a puzzle together in the quiet of the family room! The deck along the whole side of the house was awesome and a favorite place to hang out with so many options of chairs and tables. The swing in the screened in porch was perfect, as well as the swing out near the woods. The only thing we wished was different would be latches/locks that worked on the bathroom doors. The toddler in our group thought it was great fun to open the doors when someone was in the bathroom. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this house if you're looking for a place to relax and recharge!

Had a lovely week with family at Sunset Point. Plenty of room for all, indoors and outdoors. Beautiful tucked away location. Fun on the lake and at the house. Plenty of room for everyone. Wonderful ammenities. This is our 2nd visit and will absolutely return.

My friends and I go on a “Mancation” every year in June. This was amongst the best! The house was beautiful inside but we spend 90% of the time outside! Nice property with a fire ring. When it rained for a couple of hours we sat inside the screened in porch. Slept very comfortably in the A/C. Very quiet inside the house. It was a great experience.

Very nice place overlooking the lake, with a nice private backyard. The property is ideal for large group of people or family gatherings. The checking in and out process was very easy, and the house had all the needed amenities. I would definitely recommend this property.

Unique interesting property in a wooded setting with intriguing features, great outdoor space and easy access to the lake. Private and quiet. So many songbirds! All our needs were met.

It was a great house for our group of friends to stay for the weekend. Unfortunately it was chilly and raining off and on each day so we had limited ability to enjoy the back deck or screening in porch. Comfortable bedrooms, good areas for card games and conversation. Kitchen met our needs well. One of the pocket bathroom doors stuck open, but otherwise the property is in excellent condition. We would stay there again if we come back to the area for a future weekend. Be aware that the driveway is extremely steep and has limited parking unless you are really good at backing up a steep hill. There is additional level parking higher up, but you will need to navigate that driveway on foot. Keep in mind when unloading and loading.

Beautifully maintained, well organized and well stocked mid-century home. Many places to gather as a group or step away for some solitude. All of us were sad to leave as the weekend closed. My 80 year old mother in law joked that when she marries her 4th husband she wants to do it here. (At least I hope it was a joke for current husband's sake)

Renting of property was organized and simple with easy to follow terminology and instructions.

Was very impressed with this house, plenty of room for the 12 of us to stretch out. Kitchen is well stocked and the property is very expansive and quiet. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time there and are planning a return visit!

Wow! From the beautiful view to the spacious seating spaces, this is a perfect place to relax. With three baths and 5 bedrooms, there is plenty of room. The screened-in porch and two deck areas are extra joys. The host gives lots of supplies in the bath rooms and kitchen. We will be back!

We enjoyed the house and property for our small family reunion. The house is very spacious and clean, and the wooded setting with a lake view through the trees was peaceful and lovely.

Overall experience was very positive. Pictures were very representative of the property, and in fact, probably do not do justice to how sprawling the house is. Two wonderful great rooms allow for separate congregation areas. Multi level deck area was great for group and individual conversations. Spent most nights at the firepit to enjoy a couple unseasonably comfortable evenings. Only a couple negatives. Internet did not work while we were there. Called Jeff and he was responsive, but was never able to get the issue resolved. Not a big deal for our group but could obviously be an issue if you were planning on getting some work done. The drive is a challenge, although I anticipated this and we were able to work around it. It was a little confusing finding the drive as well. Positives far out-weigh the minor negatives. Kitchen was very well appointed and the beds were awesome. Having 3 bathrooms is a real bonus! This is a really great property that is well maintained and very clean. Know going in that it is on a hillside and presents a few walking challenges outside. Kudos to Jeff and Suzanne for a fine renting experience.

It was a bit hard to find the actual house being that it was down such an incline. Pictures show the view or the lake as being better than it was when we got there. Over all we love the place and had a great Girls weekend.

For the past few years, my friends and I have taken an annual trip down into The area surrounding Wayne National Forest. This is our second time coming to this property since it was such a positive experience the last time! We had a great time once again, the house was every bit as warm and inviting as we remembered it being. We’ll definitely be back!

The house is located in a beautiful area of Southern Ohio. The house was clean and everything worked except for the internet. I would have given a higher rating if the internet was actually working as advertised.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The home was well stocked and clean. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and do more than one activity during the rainy days. The pictures do not do it justice, the home is lovely!

Loved the property and the area. Had a great experience. Loads of fun and plenty to do.

Our friend group had a wonderful time at Jeff’s property—the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was well-stocked and we had plenty of space to stretch out. We enjoyed the (steep) walk down to the lake trail and the fire pit out back. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, but it was an issue outside of the host’s control.

What a wonderful experience! More than we even imagined. My husband, three of his marine buddies & wives booked this wonderful getaway. The property was amazing. More than we even expected! Kitchen stocked with everything you would ever need, very spacious and lovely property. Enjoyed the fire pit every night. The owners were amazing to work with. We even saw them on the lake! I would highly recommend this. We had a wonderful time.
