The property was very nice, very secure. Right in town so within walking distance of everything. The pool was beautiful. The condo well stocked if you plan on cooking while there. Laundry in the home was convenient. Rooms were large, beds very comfortable. Have what I hope is a minor issue on an additional fee I am unaware of. As for the home it was wonderful.

Clean, spacious, very functional and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended for guests looking for close proximity to beach, restaurants, shops, safety/security, and entertainment for kids.

Excellent value for an 1100 square foot 2 bedroom 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, balcony, washer, dryer, large clean pool with waterfall, pleasant guest and gated security guard. Just across the street from the beach and nearby grocery store, restaurants, attractions. Would definitely stay there again if In Tamarindo

I truly enjoyed staying in the unit. Very well maintained, in a great location. Private parking, security at the entrance and pool. The overall process was very simple and the property manager was very responsive. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

The title says it all. This unit has everything you would want for all ages and family sizes. We spent 10 days in this unit and had a great time. The pool was amazing and the grounds were kept extremely clean. The beach was only steps away. The town of Tamarindo has a lot to offer. If you book a vacation at this unit you will not be disappointed.

We have stayed in the Sunrise a few times and this was our favorite unit by far! The accommodations were very comfortable and the rental company was very responsive when needed. We could not get the tv to work beyond local channels, but this wasn't a big deal for us. Will return!

Nice place, as advertised. Central location, easy to get to beach and downtown area. Pool was a nice add on after being in the ocean. Loved the geckos on the patio at night. Felt safe from the bugs.

Had an amazing time in Tamarindo! The condo was perfect, just what our family of 3 was looking for! Very clean upon arrival and well stocked. It was great to have towels and beach chairs as well as beach umbrellas available for our use. As owners of 2 VRBO properties, we felt this was a great one!
Kelly and Olber went above and beyond for us! Helping book a snorkeling excursion and helping all along the way!

We loved our 5 days at the Sunrise Condos!
Very well located right across from Tamarindo Beach, walking distance to many restaurants and short drive to major supermarket. The Blue Zone agents who manage the apartment were quick to respond to issues that arose and fixed the problems quickly. The apartment itself was very clean and well stocked and the pool is very nice. The only thing that is missing are some beach chairs and an umbrella. Although those can be rented at Tamarindo beach, it would have been nice to have them when visiting the other more quiet beaches.
Overall we had a great stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with my two girlfriends. As my girlfriends are beach lovers, the location was perfect for them to walk every day to the beach. As my husband is not a big beach goer the pool was a great alternative. The condo is located to many restaurants and markets. A perfect stay. The concierge service was one of the best we have ever experienced. I definitely give Sunrise a five-star rating.

We have stayed at other Sunrise condos and this unit didn’t disappoint. The owner was very flexible based on sone requests we had and the communication in regards to check-in was so easy.

Great location! Lots of restaurants right outside the property. Beach was beautiful, host was very helpful with any questions I had, and scheduled some great tours for us.

The location was perfect for what we were doing!
The building was lovely and the view and access to the pool is grand! The beach is a couple hundred steps away which was so nice! I was very happy with the nice firm beds!
There are a few things that need some attention.
The coffee maker does not work.
Both toilets seem to be on their last legs although it was more of a hassle than a real problem. The air conditioning seems very uneven, the main living area very chilly but bedrooms (especially master was ‘hot’.) I realize this is an aging unit and appliances the same but dish washer didn’t really clean all that well and the washer and dryer had their own issues which I’m sure you are aware. Rough edges at front door perhaps from a dog scratching, no big deal but the little things take the luxury out of your beautiful home.
I hope this isn’t offensive but thought I would give an honest feedback.

Great location in Tamarindo
Location of property is excellent! Across the street from the beach, in the heart of Tamarindo - surf lessons, restaurants, bars and shops are just outside of property. Beautiful pool area. Condo was clean, dry and plenty of room - we had only 2 people in our party but could easily accommodate 2 couples. Only problem we had was difficult time checking in as the gate security isn’t helpful and the unit was not easy to find. Once we did find it, getting inside was no problem.

Can’t beat the location! Condo is across the street from the beach and in the middle of all the action. Beds were comfy. Plenty of towels. Kitchen had everything we needed. Mgmt co very helpful & responsive. Internet was spotty and slow.

Great Location
Perfect location, across the street from the beach and center of all the action in Tamarindo. Security gate and patrol so you don't have to worry. Great pool area and the beds were super comfy! There was a sewer gas odor which some days was pretty strong, other than that we were very happy with the condo.

What a place
A cross the street from the beach, you really can beat that. Transportation from the airport to the condo and back set up by them. Close to everything, pool to relax in when back from a day at the beach or out exploring the town. Just amazing. Love the resident kitties to, have one back home and was happy to have pet one 😅 really there is no better place or agency to stay with.

Celebrating Part 2 of my 50th Birthday
We started out in Samara Reef and wanted to play and discover another area of Costa Rica and Taramarindo looked perfect! It was centrally located to whatever you wanted or needed! Not to mention the beach is literally across the street! It was peaceful, guests and staff were very friendly! We will definitely be back! Would’ve loved it if there were local seasonings in the food pantry because the food there is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

A Slice of Paradise in Tamarindo
This condo had everything we needed. It was very clean and spacious. It was close to the beach- across the street. It has a beautiful view of the pool and you can see the ocean from a distance through the trees. It was walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a condominium rather than a hotel like we were- you can’t go wrong with this place.

The condo is just as advertized
Our stay at the Sunrise Condos #38 was great. The property, condo and pool were very nice. The location couldn't be better. Our only criticism would be on the check in process. We came into town via shuttle were we were instructed to check in at Pacific Park which was down the road a ways from the condo. It was very incontinent to have to carry your bags throughthe streets back to condo after your treck from the airport. We were told we could have called them from the condo, but that's not what the check in instructions said.

Beautiful clean condo
Great place one level up from the pool. Had all the amenities you could need. Even a cake pan, so we made a birthday cake. The washer/dryer was super convenient. Great place for a family or a couples retreat.

Wonderful location.
This condo is in a wonderful location in Tamarindo. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beach access is across the road. We saw monkeys each morning and each evening in the mango trees. We were on a girls trip and had a fabulous time. The area is very safe. We did have a couple minor issues with the condo, but we couldn't have asked for better service with the Blue Water management company. If we hadn't had a couple minor issues we never would have met Fiorella and Marcelo in the Blue Water office. We had such fun conversations with them. Truly wonderful people. They made our girls trip extra memorable. I also highly recommend booking tours with them as well. We did the Palo Verde tour with Junior as our tour guide. We had so many laughs with him. The tour was excellent, but Junior made the tour one of the best we've ever done. We are looking forward to coming back and staying with them again.

Nice condo centrally located, great pool, good family spot
We enjoyed our stay at Sunrise #38. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including beach chairs. The Blue Water Properties staff, especially Fio, were very helpful. Our Nature Air flight was canceled at the last minute and Fio arranged a driver for us from San Jose as we didn't want to rent a car. She also arranged a secluded beach tour for us with one day's notice. Our main negative comment has to do with the frequent smell of sewer gas in the condo. Two very strong air fresheners had been placed in the laundry closet to mask the smell, but the "fragrance" of the air fresheners was toxic to some of us so we wrapped them in several plastic bags during our stay. Also, the only way to get a cross breeze in the condo was to open the front door, but you lose your privacy if you do that. We've found this a common problem in condos in warm climates in other places as well, so it's not unique to this property. The sewer gas smell is something we've encountered in other countries, such as Mexico, so unfortunately, this is not unique to Tamarindo.

Great vacation Across From the Beach!
We returned to Tamarindo and stayed in this beautiful 2 Br/ 2 Bath condo with everything we needed. It was well stocked and working WiFi throughout, with Cable TV, washer, dryer, dishwasher and beach chairs. The view of the ocean and pool were relaxing! The pool and the grounds were well kept. The town is active during the day, but quiet at night. Everything is in walking distance. We used a shuttle service from the Liberia airport and did not need a car. The beach is amazing and there are many grocery stores and wonderful restaurants. We had no problem with the elevator. Blue Water Properties were very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend Unit 38 and Sunrise!

Honeymoon Heaven!
We spent 10 wonderful days in Tamarindo for our honeymoon. The location was perfect! Sunrise is very close to beach, restaurants, and shops. We stayed in unit #38, which was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great vacation. It even had beach chairs, towels, and a grill for us to use! The view of the pool and the ocean were spectacular. The pool and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We loved the beach, especially at sunset. We’ve already recommended this condo at Sunrise to our friends and look forward to returning!
