It was a beautiful villa in a cozy little village.

The host was so kind and was all time available for questions and made many recomendations. Also all facilities were amazing and the neighborhood.

We spent 5 days in the villa as a family with young children and we enjoyed everything about it : the beauty of the house, the swimming pool, the peaceful location in the village of Melidoni - which is very authentic and welcoming, the facilities around (2 shops, 2 restaurants with good value for money and local dishes) . All the rooms were clean and neat with air conditioner. The check in /out was very convenient and we had whatsapp for any questions with the manager

Nothing ! We had meals and dinner outside all the time however the kitchen might need some elements to cook at home (but we haven’t tried) . Just a detail but be careful not to leave the keys inside the first little house (the one on the right) as the door cannot be opened from the outside without them

Place is charming and very private. Well finished and kept very clean. House keepers were very welcoming and made us cake twice! Which was delicious and made us feel very welcome.

Arranged for a late check out prior to booking the place, which was agreed between the manager and ourselves due to the late flight from Crete - 11pm. Owner never specified this could change. Day before arrival we were told this was no longer possible - even though we specifically asked the question and made decision to book this place due to flexibility. Place is made up of two separate cottages which are beautiful and charming, sandly smaller cottage suffers from a dump smell. Some of the nights we didnt have a very good sleep due to smoke smell coming into the property - locals claimed this was due making charcoal at night. As it was out of season we felt that two tavernas which are just round the corner from the property didnt have much choice for food - perhaps its different during high season.

Had a wonderful stay, very clean, two cottages, garden, BBQ, and a lovely pool in very private surroundings and just a step away from the supermarket and village square, 10 min drive to motorway and access to all of Crete. Hosts were very welcoming, and at your convenience. I will stay again for sure 👌😊

The villa is absolutely beautiful. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The swimming pool very nice, very clean. We liked our backyard, the lemon tree, the view, we absolutely fell in love with the villa and with the village of Melidoni.
