Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und wunderschön eingerichtet, mit viel liebe zum Detail. Die Familie, der das Hotel und auch das dazugehörige Restaurant gehört, sind sehr herzlich und wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Leider war das Zimmer etwas hellhörig, da die Gummidichtungen in den Türen fehlen, allerdings war es ab 10 Uhr ruhig und man konnte ohne Störungen schlafen.

The owners and staff of the property were very welcoming, helpful, and just made the stay that much better! 

I would highly recommend this property… The only thing I would recommend is that the beautiful new rooms need just a few items like hooks for a towel in the gorgeous shower room, or a box of Kleenex… Simple little things that travelers need. The rooms are beautifully decorated, but just need a few simple, organizational touches.

Kleines Hotel mit einer persönlichen Note moderne Zimmer mit himmlisch gemütlichen Betten…. Eine sehr sehr guter Küche und der abendliche Drink an der Hotelbar macht den Tag perfekt :))) Das Hotel ist ein Familienbetrieb mit freundlicher, herzlicher Atmosphäre jeder wird von Senior begrüßt u verabschiedet :))) beide Inhaber sprechen hervorragend Deutsch u geben gute Tipps für Ausflüge u Restaurants. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer super sauber, wir hatten einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Die Lage in der 2. Reihe ist schön ruhig u der Stand fussläufig in knapp 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Man kann u sollte aber ein Auto mieten um die Umgebung u die wirklich schönen Strände Kretas zu besuchen…( im Hotel möglich) auch nach Heraklion fährt man bequem im Auto das Parkhaus am Hafen ist sehr zentral gelegen….

Such a welcoming friendly environment. Accommodation is spot on, very modern and comfortable rooms. Family run and they go out of their way to make you feel at home.

It was our first trip to Crete and we wanted to find a representative place. Luck or inspiration was to choose Ikaros Suite, a small hotel managed by a very nice family. A modern, spacious hotel with new furniture, with all the facilities you need in a summer vacation: swimming pool, bar, restaurant with local specialties, relaxing atmosphere, good wi-fi free parking and a friendly staff ready to fulfill your wishes , speaking German and English. The restaurant is excellent, with local, authentic dishes - with natural ingredients from the family farm. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. We arrived very early in the morning, around 8 - but we were accommodated quite quickly, we didn't have to wait until after dinner. More than that - Katarina, the iron hand of the hotel :) - offered us a free breakfast from the house. When leaving, because we had a very early morning flight, we each received a package of food so that we wouldn't go hungry on the road. Thank you, Katarina. Thanks also to Yoorgos, he has a special reserve of excellent Cretan raki. My father-in-law was very happy for him. A place where you want to come back as soon as possible.

The surrounding area is not very attractive, but that is the case in many places on the island. Luckily the beach is very close. Anyway, if you want to explore the island, you will need a car or a scooter.

Amazing clean renovated rooms. The Hera Suite has a wonderful sea view and is very well designed and comfortable. The owners/staff provide 100% genuine care and hospitality, they make you feel like family. The food and service at the restaurant/pool are outstanding. Only a few steps away from the beach.

No elevator to the upper floors.
