Great communication from hosts before and during the stay. Clean, comfortable room and furnishings - felt like home. Modern fittings and extra touches. Bottles of water and fresh milk in a full sized fridge. Pool looked pristine.
Breakfast was plentiful, but more choice could be given - suggest a form to complete the day before, according to the needs of the guest.

Everything. I was a bit skeptical when I saw The Travel Inn being so cheap and yet having its rating. I was pleasantly surprised upon getting there though. My expectations were exceeded. A rating of 100/10 is more appropriate! Tertius and Thabisile are excellent hosts. Of course, their own travel experiences adds up in helping them make The Travel Inn one of the best places you can lodge in Durban at such affordable prices. Tertius and Thabisile also transported us at their own costs without asking for any dime from us. We even got complimentary footwears.
If the accomodation is available for your dates, you will never go wrong with this place. Book it immediately, thank me later. (~_*)

Very quiet and Peaceful environment. We loved it very much and the food was well prepared excellent taste. Will definitely return when working or on holiday. Hosts are so kind and helpful and I wish them all the best for the future.
All is 100% ,one cannot complain. Great atmosphere and security is high.

I felt safe at The Travel Inn as they have excellent security.
It was very peaceful and quiet although it appeared fully booked with many guests.
Breakfast was delicious and there was over enough.
It is a well managed & well maintained establishment with friendly staff.
I will stay there whenever in Durban.
The peacefulness. Very quiet with a nice friendly homely vibe. Felt safe and my vehicle had a reserved parking. I rested well.

Firstly, they demonstrated care when we called after booking. They called us back and guided us about their requirements. Owners are very welcoming , friendly and caring. They provided a detailed orientation. The place is very secured in a quite environment.
The room was spacious , clean and very modern.
Breakfast was superb and delicious.
Best accommodation and value for money.

Thabsile and the helper , they were very very nice👍🏽
She welcomed us to the stay and made us comfortable.
The host was Rude. He doesn’t like kids. He said my group was a bunch of rubbish people. We respected quiet hours of the residence and the curfew hadn’t struck yet they complained about the noise level and mentioned that it was two people nevertheless we apologized for that.
Almost kicked us out the first night.
Didn’t mention that they never received damage fees only after we checked out they made us pay for some things we don’t know about.
He’s impatient with people. He Mentioned things that were not related to our trip such as “we don’t have parents and he needs to teach us life lesson cause he has made it in life and we haven’t. “

The hospitality, the effort taken to make the tenants comfortable and to be at home was just epic. The place was very clean, beautiful and comfortable to stay in. Very secure as well. The hosts relate to guests like they know each other very well. We honestly felt the tenure was too short due to the comfort and hospitality received. I will not hesitate to revisit the place again in this year.

We received the breakfast menu on arrival so we could choose for the next day. It included six kinds of cereal plus a tasty hot full English meal. There was also fruit and bottled water which we took for snacking on during the day.
Everything was great. There wasn't anything to complain about. Their attention to detail is remarkable.

Breakfast included an assortment of cereals as well as an ample hot English style meal cooked to perfection. Great value for money in a very nice and secure setting. Quiet time from 8 pm was observed by all which suited my sleep pattern. The location was ideal for my work requirements in Clairwood, just a few minutes drive away.
I can not find fault in anything as all my needs were taken care of. Very well organised place with excellent security protocol, must produce ID and proof of residence, no visitors other than guests around.

The facility is pristine. The staff were friendly, polite & professional. The breakfast was awesome value for money. The security was stringent but acceptable. So many amenities feels like one is at home. I’ll book here again without a doubt. Outstanding place.

I didn't like anything I loved everything about the place, the friendly staff, the warm welcome we received and the staff made our stay more enjoyable, the rooms where neat if i can write everything I loved I would take the whole day..

The whole apartment was specious, The kitchen was perfect i loved it and the area is in a very good location close to everything, Easy access to everything, the pool area was perfect had everything we needed. Lastly the ladies we're very helpful and were there anytime when needed.
The toilet that is in the bedroom, please consider putting a door or something it's really uncomfortable expecially when you sharing the room. Also please consider tags to open the gate i did not like having to disturb the staff anytime going in and out it's not safe for us and the staff.
